Soft & Subtle Petite Petals

Yesterday I shared the wine charms I made for my Team Winter Retreat and today I’m sharing some of the Shoebox Swap items – Check out these great projects that we made.

This first card was Cindy’s she loves the Subtle Collection of colors and this card defiantly showcases that.

Cindy used the Petite Petals (133152/133155) and Pictorgram Punches stamp set (134261/134264) to create a variety of flowers. She added a bit of layering to create interest and some Stampin’ Dimensionals to add more interest and depth.

The sentiment she used is from our Cottage Greetings stamp set (138940/139962).

Anna used one of my favorite Sale-a-bration stamp sets – Sky is the Limit (141282/141349) and the World Traveler Embossing Folder (138289).

Anna also chose Soft Sky from our Subtles Collection.

This last item is a 3d item and Janette loves creating gift items just like I do!

Cute right? It holds a little note pad. Janette used our Project Life Moments Like These (138740) and the Have a Cuppa Designer Series Paper Stack (140567) and Bermuda Bay 1/8″ Stitched Ribbon (140569) along with the too cute Bow Paper Clips (140559) that are found in the Occasions Catalog.

Sorry about the lighting, I was having problems today with photos since we are expecting a winter weather event here in North Georgia and it is really over cast.

Black & White World of Dreams

Well, I’m back after another whirl wind college campus tour today – this time Georgia State. Wow, what a difference between Georgia State and West Georgia. There is lots to think about. But mean while as promised here is the last Black & White convention swap that I’ll be sharing.

This card uses the NEW World of Dreams set found on page 127 in the 2014 Catalog. This one was one of my favorites as soon as I saw the catalog. Love the images and the sentiments and since it is a silhouette set it opens up all kinds of techniques that can be used for projects.

I also love the fact that this card uses another of the patterns from the Back to Black Designer Series Paper. Makes these black & white cards so easy. And isn’t the sentiment’s font great? This sentiment comes from the Project Life Remember This set, which is full of great sentiments for all kinds of occasions.

Pictogram Punches in Black & White

Today’s card is another Black & White swap that I received from Convention and I think it is a lot of fun and a different type layout.

Do you recognize the Designer Series Paper? It is the Back to Black Designer Series Paper (item 133700) found on page 187 of the 2014 Annual Catalog. Lyndia teamed up this organic pattern with the NEW Pictogram Punches stamp set (134261/134264) found on page 89 and then added one of our Petite Petal images to add a little more presence.

I’m a punch-a-holic – how about you? Can you name all the 4 different punches used on this card? Try it and then check to see how many you got correct in my supply list below – LOL.

Petite Petals

Today’s card is very elegant and makes an impression, but at the same time so easy to do.

Simply stamp your swirl from the Everything Eleanor stamp set in Garden Green. Then cut out a window with your Apothecary Accent Framelit. (Don’t you love how easy our Framelits and the Magnetic Platform makes cutting windows like this sooo easy since it holds your Framelit tightly in place.)

Lay this on top of your Whisper White card base and stamp your sentiment of choice from the A Dozen Thoughts set, then adhere the layer onto the base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stamp your flowers, punch them out and add them to the front using some more Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add some Pearls and your done. Lovely, right?

Fresh Prints & Watercolor Wonder

With the Occasions Catalog ending tomorrow June 1st I thought I would share some cards that use the wonderful Designer Series Paper that you’ll find inside its pages.

These first two cards use the same basic colors and the Designer Series Paper Stack, Fresh Prints (132996). but are totally different looks. Our stacks are great for card making since they contain lots of different patterns that are 41/2″ x 6″, just right for a card front.

I love the paper peeking out from the tag, don’t you? Punches are great to create negative space, here the Petite Petals Punch (133322) was used along with the Bitty Butterfly Punch (129406). And who doesn’t love the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch (133324)? There are so many fun ways to use it. Can you see the texture in the Real Red background? If you guessed our Arrows Embossing Folder (132187) from the Occasions Catalog you are right!

I love bundles and this next card uses two of our bundles, Flower Shop (132727/132726) and the Petite Petals Bundle (134821/134822). Coordinating punches just make things sooo quick and simple!

The sentiment is from the single stamp Vivid Vases (133818) that you can find in the Occasions Catalog.

Watercolor Wonder meets Peaceful Petals

This card was given to me by one of my Team members, JoAnn. I love the color combinations found in the Watercolor Wonder Designer Series Paper (132994) they are so soft and subtle.

JoAnn used the Peaceful Petals stamp set (133104/133107) added some texture with the Stampin’ Distress Tool (127562) and a little touch of shine when she used a few sequins from the Gold Sequin Trim (132983). So simple but a lovely card anyone would enjoy getting.

Scallop Tag Topper Treats Tutorial

As promised yesterday here is my latest tutorial for the Scallop Tag Topper Treats that my Hostesses received during the Hostess Appreciation Brunch this past weekend.

They are so much fun to make using the Scallop Tag Topper Punch, and the basic design can be customized for any occasion. Quick and easy to make – I think you’re friends will love them too, since they hold 2 Hershey’s Nuggets.

Everyone needs a little chocolate sometimes and when it’s in a treat there are no calories, right? LOL
