Reversibles | Stamp, Scrap & Create with Me

Today’s cards are monochromatic cards using the Natural Botanicals stamp set (164831) and our Cloud Cover 2025-2027 In Color.

This first card uses our Glass & Gardens Embossing Folder (Online Exclusives 165597) and 2025-2027 In Color Designer Series Paper (165299) to create a background full of texture.

The Designer Series Paper was first attached to the Basic White Card stock and then run the the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss to give a “quilting” effect. The Textured Notes Dies (Online Exclusive 165555) have been used to cut out and layer the image. And a few of our 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls (165192) and you have a simply elegant card.

This next card uses the technique again with the Dotted Circles 3D Embossing Folder (163789) this time with Basic Beige Card stock. It also uses the same Dies to cut out the image along with the embellishments but has a very different feel to.

The image has been stamped using Versa Mark for a tone on tone look and Antique Pearls (164679) have been added to the panel.

The Natural Botanicals stamp set is a special Reversibles stamp that allows you to use both sides of the stamp for two step stamping. While these two cards do not use the solid image or two step with it the Reversibles stamp gives you double the images to give you greater versatility for your projects. Do you love the sand, water, and sun? Or a day at the beach? The images from the Sea Turtle stamp set (160500) remind me of our last vacation with our daughter and looking for Sea Turtles on the beach. We finally found some during out last couple of days.

They weren’t exactly what I expected as they laid there sunning themselves, but pretty cool just the same. Today’s card was made using the stamp set and a little spring so the turtle actually bounces around making it a pretty cool card.

The card base is Wild Wheat, which is one of our 2023 In Colors it’s been teamed up with Old Olive and Soft Sea Foam which has been used for the turtle. Of course the stamp off method has been used to create different shades on both the card front and the ocean panel. The little fish have been stamped using Pool Party and a bit of color has been added using the Blending Brushes (153611) to give the water movement. and of course our 2023-2025 In Color Dots (161620) add a bit of shine to the project.
