It’s a Timeless Tropical kind of day

It’s hot and humid in North Georgia today which makes it the type of day you want to sit back and sit a cold drink in the shade. That is until the afternoon storms arrive. lol So today I thought I’d share some cards with a tropical vibe. Check out the set it is filled with wonderful images and uses a beautifully fluid font for the sentiments too.

The cards I’ll be sharing with you today were all created with the Timeless Tropical stamp set (151497) and their coordinating dies, In the Tropics (151495). This first one looks like a pretty picture. The frame was created with our Stitched Rectangle Dies (151820) and sponging was used to create the lovely sunset. A circle Mask was used it’s a simple technique – all you have to do is cut out of a circle from a sticky note, put in place and then sponge around it as desired. Striking right?

And how about this next card? It uses a simple torn edge technique to create texture and interest.

More texture was added with the Subtle (151775) and Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folders (150646) along with a bit of sponging too.

And finally, this last card today is a fun fold card

When you open it you’ll get a wonderful surprise. Once again the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder was used to create interest on the inside along with some sponging to highlight the pattern.

So what do you think? Feeling a tropical vibe too? Stop back by tomorrow when I’ll be sharing some more cards using this fun set that is great for all kinds of occasions and scrap booking too!

Beautiful Moments

This stamp set is filled with beautiful sketched images, sentiments using a lovely font and is perfect for your favorite coloring technique.

Today I wanted to share this lovely card I received that uses our Stampin’ Blends to color these lovely images.

Done using the Calypso Coral, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends. Texture was added with our Basket Weave and Texture 3D Embossing Folders. (Speaking of our wonderful 3D Embossing Folders – Did you know we have a special 3D Embossing Plate that you can use to make sandwich for embossing quick and easy when using your Big Shot or other Die machine? We also have replacement cutting plates available too.)

And here is another card I’ve shared with you earlier using this set. This time using bold Rich Razzleberry and Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends inspired by the Poppies Designer Series Paper.

The options are endless since you can use the coloring method of your choice and each coloring tool you choose will give you a different feel which makes it a lot of fun to create with!

Are you at home? With the request that we stay in place, you’ll need a way to fight the boredom . Why not think about stamping? And of course staying connected with our family and friends by sending a card? Just because we have to be physically apart doesn’t mean we can’t reach out to others through different methods, like a phone call or sending a card. Not only will you brighten someones day, you’ll feel better too!

And of course I have class options that will allow you to still create while at home – check out my kit to go options found on my Calendar of Events or contact me today to learn more. Or my new Virtual Class option that I shared with you last week.
