Sunrise Sailing

The summer makes me think of time at the lake as a child. Watching the boats go by and the waves come in. I miss Lake Michigan and the easy drive to beach and the feel of driving down Lake Shore Drive as a teenager with friends in a convertible and the wind blowing my hair. Or the fireworks on the 4th with all those boats out on the water under the bursts of color. So today’s Sunrise Sailing Bundle (Online Exclusive 165497) cards make me think of those carefree days of my youth and those wonderfully elegant boats out on the water.

This Bundle has a wonderful Hybrid Embossing Folder that allows you to add some wonderful texture to images and dies. Check out these two cards made with this bundle.

This first card uses some simple stamping and a bit of color brushed across the embossed image to create a relaxing monochromatic card.

And this next card uses a fun fold called Book Binding. With a simple score line and a bit of adhesive you create this fun card.

Sunrise Sailing Spring Card

Need a fun summer themed graduation or retirement card? How about the Sunrise Sailing Bundle (Online Exclusive 165497)?

Today’s card send congratulations to that special grad and let’s them know they are destined for great things It’s also got a fun movement since the sail boat has been popped up on a little “wobble spring” element giving it some fun movement. The lovely shimmery embellishment is from the Itty Bitty Bokeh Mix Embellishments (164618) and gives this night sky some shine. A bit of our White Craft Ink (147277) has been sponged on the raised design too giving it some depth and highlighting the clouds and water.

Best wishes with our Sunrise Sailing

Sand, sea, and sun. What does that make you think of? For me spending time at the lake front in Milwaukee and watching the boats on the water. They looked so elegant out in distance against the blue skies.

Today’s card uses our Sunrise Sailing Bundle (Online Exclusive 165497) filled with lovely sentiments and nautical images. The color has been added using a Blending Brush to hit the embossed image after it’s been cut out with the coordinating die. Isn’t it cool that our Hybrid Embossing Folders like this allow you to cut out the images and dry emboss them like this? A bit of color has also been added to the water and sky so the clouds pop on the Cloud Cover background.

And for a little shine our Holographic Resin Dots (Online Exclusive 165598) have been added.
