For the love of flowers

Today’s cards all have one thing in common – flowers. And if you love flowers these stamp sets might be something you want to take a look at since they are all on the Last Chance List that will be ending on May 3rd.

I’m sharing 2 of my favorite sets first with you since they have big bold images and some great sentiments for that I need a lot of the time for my card sending needs. This first one uses the To a Wild Rose (Retiring 149452).

Done in shades of Crushed Curry, So Saffron, and Just Jade it’s soft and lovely. The Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder (152718) was used to add some texture along with the lovely Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack (153620). This next card uses one of our stamp sets that have a coordinating kit, Gorgeous Posies (Retiring 153299).

This card uses our popular Gorgeous Grape to make a statement. And these next cards use the stamp set Parcels and Petals (Retiring 149317) and contains a delicate font that is sure to please. This first card is done in our In Colors Just Jade and Cinnamon Cider.

And if you love monochromatic cards check out this one using Balmy Blue.

This simple masking technique provide a card that looks like it has multiple layers. The sentiment has been highlighted and popped up using the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch (152883).

This next card uses our bold In Color Magenta Madness and the Fancy Phrases stamp set (Retiring 152530).

And how about this next card created using the stamp set Butterfly Wishes (Retiring 149346)? Done in Daffodil Delight, Pear Pizzazz, and Mossy Meadow and using the Stitched Nested Labels Dies (Retiring 149638).

It also uses our Small Bloom Punch (Retiring 152316), and this next card uses this punch too.

Or the lovely Graces Garden (Retiring 151513) and it’s retiring dies (Retiring 151512).

And last but not least these next two cards use the stamp sets a bit differently to create lovely projects along with our 2020-2022 In Colors.

This first card is done in Bumblebee and uses the Under My Umbrella stamp set (Retiring151518) along with the Layering Circle Dies (151770), Small Blossom Punch (Retiring 152316), 2020-2020 In Color Designer Series Paper (Retiring 153070), In Color Enamel Dots (Retiring 152480), and Bumblebee In Color Ribbon (Retiring 153622).

Spotlighting the Blue Mountain Stampers

Last week we had our monthly Team Meeting and so today I wanted to share with you some of the projects that were brought by everyone to share. It’s always fun to see what everyone has been up to since we last stamped together.

This first card is a fun fold, pocket card and it is done in our bright Flirty Flamingo and always a favorite Blackberry Bliss.

Shirley used the Peaceful Moments Stamp set (151595) and Poppy Moments Dies (151594) for this lovely pocket card. This fold is very easy but always packs a wow.

Spring is coming and this next card makes me think spring since it uses the Sending You Thoughts stamp set (152297 Sale-a-bration) and the Coordination product, Sending Flowers Dies (153589). Wanda also chose to make her cards with a variety of colors, this time our 2018-2020 In Colors. I just love the difference color makes.

Did you know that March is a great time to fill in your 2018-2020 In Color Collections? Not only will you get to earn Sale-a-bration products when you order during March but you’ll also beat the Retirement List rush. So why not check your collection and make sure you have all your favorites? Ink Pads, Card stock, ribbon, etc. – You’ll want to make sure to get the reinkers too if you don’t already have them since they are the first to fly out the door!

Here is the adorable Little Ladybug stamp set (152384 Sale-a-bration Host set) and coordinating Dies (153588).

Sue made this little Magnet Slider Card to share – so cute.

And this card is perfect for spring (and our neck of the woods, since we’ve already racked up 1/2 a year of rain already!)

The Under My Umbrella Stamp Set (151518) and Umbrella Builder Punch (151293) were used to create this lovely Double Z Fold card.

And if you love the NEW 2nd Release Sale-a-bration items, you’re going to love this soft lovely card done with our Purple Posy Stampin’ Blends.

How can you not love this Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper (152312 Sale-a-bration)? It’s gorgeous! and the So Very Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper (152313 Sale-a-bration) is just that. It just shimmers with it’s pearly finish.

And last but not least some 3d projects. This first one is a treat that Pat made special for the up coming St. Patty’s Day. Pat cleverly used the Garden Lane Designer Series Paper (149488) to create this card in shades of green.

And Wanda made this little treat bag using our Acetate Card Boxes (144628) that she cut in 1/2.

It uses the Beautiful Moments stamp set for it’s sentiment, along with the very popular Pleased as Punch Designer Series Paper (153558) – love the soft spring colors that this paper contains AND the fact it coordinates with our punches too.

Whew! There was lots of sharing going on this month! If you’d like to join a great group who love to share the Blue Mountain Stampers might just be a great choice for you.

Under My Umbrella

It’s been another rainy day here in North Georgia, but while we have gotten almost another inch of rain today and over 6 inches already this month, we’ve been fairly lucky. As I was walking past my windows I just noticed all the mist across the fields, it was so pretty I thought I’d share a picture with you tonight.

All this rain makes me feel like its a fitting time to share some of the swaps I received using the Under My Umbrella Bundle of products that you can find in our January – June 2020 Mini Catalog on page 42.

This stamp set and it’s coordinating punch are great for all kind of occasions – check out the sentiments.

Cute right? And it has a coordinating punch too which is great for quick and easy projects.

Here are a couple of fun cards made with the bundle This first one is a fancy fold done in Gorgeous Grape.

And this second card uses our Petal Pink – so soft and pretty when teamed up with the So Saffron and Soft Suede.

This card uses a technique that we call paper piecing. Stamp your image onto the Designer Series Paper of your choice, in this case it’s the Bird Ballard (149592) from the Annual Catalog, then cut or punch out.

And finally this bright and bold card done with a wash of color for it’s back drop.

The umbrella has been done with paper piecing again, but this time using the See A Silhouette Designer Series Paper (149443). Aren’t techniques like this simply great? And how different this card looks from the one above it!

Here are a few more ideas for you using this bundle.

Enjoy! Then stop back by tomorrow when I’ll be sharing a tutorial with you for this months #imbringingbirthdaysback card.
