Really Good Greetings

This week I’ll be sharing some more of the great convention swaps that I received. I hope you are enjoying them. So without further ado…. Here is another great card that I received from Wanda at convention using the Really Good Greetings stamp set. There are a lot of fresh, fun greetings that come in this set that I think you’ll really enjoy. This card uses one of my favorites and isn’t it great it fits right inside one of our Chalk Talk Framelits?

I just love the way Stampin’ Up! items coordinate together. It is one of the things that initially drew me to Stampin’ Up! when I began stamping all those years ago. I quickly learned that I saved money because I wasn’t always trying to find something that would work together with something I already had like I did when I purchased things at my local big box store.

Flower Shop (item 130939/130942) is one of my favorite stamp sets from the 2013-2014 Catalog. What makes it one of my favorites? Well, first the fact that it has some great images and second it has a coordinating punch! After all I can’t resist a punch, who can right? With my daughter heading off to college soon I thought it would be nice to have some of her friends over to say farewell. Of course, a beach theme invitation seemed to make sense since it is a pool party, so when I saw this swap from convention that Lydia did using the By the Seashore stamp set (item 132582/126532) it seemed perfect for the occasion.

Don’t you love the way that Stampin’ Up!s stamp sets coordinate well together? Not only does this card use the By the Seashore but it also uses an image from the By the Tide set (item 131910/129120) as well.

And did you notice the block of color in the background? Well this was made using our one of our Clear Blocks that you use to mount our Clear Mount Stamps on. A quick and easy background!

I think this card would also make a great masculine card with its colors too.

Holiday Catalog Organization

Caring with Cards Event Scheduled

Caring with Cards is a different kind of event. It is an event designed to make a difference in someone else’s life. So why not join in? The more’s the merrier so invite a friend to come with you – everyone’s welcome. You’ll not only have fun stamping and socializing but you’ll also be giving of yourself – along with bringing a smile to someone’s face. Sound interesting?

During this 90 minute self paced event you’ll get to make up to four cards of your choice. All supplies are included except Snail Adhesive. Your donation of $10 covers the supplies, envelopes, and the postage required.

All cards will be donated to the charity of your choice when you finished and you’ll be able to choose between four different charities – The Ronald McDonald House, Operation Write Home, Hospice, and the Red Cross.

Tuesday, August 13th at 1 p.m. or 7 p.m.
