Team Fun & Butterfly Brilliance

I love getting together with my Team everyone month, we stamp, share, and enjoy catching up. Part of our meeting is sharing projects and seeing what everyone has been stamping. This month our swap theme was the Butterfly Brilliance Bundle (155821), so I thought I’d share the wonderful projects everyone brought.

These first cards I’ll be sharing with you use the Butterfly Brilliance Bundle and some fun folds. I can’t pick a favorite? Can you? This fun fold is called a stand up card and is created with some quick score lines. Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends (154883) were used to color the butterfly and then a Basic Black (121045) die cut piece was added on top.

Our Blending Brushes were used on this next card to create a lovely soft background for the butterflies and the Story Label Punch (Retiring 150076) was used to highlight the sentiment.

And finally this lovely card done using a variety of our Stampin’ Blends. Butterflies peak out from behind the card front sentiment layer.

For this next fun Pop Up Card the Dragonfly Garden Bundle (154411) was used.

The punch was used to cut out the Dragonflies from the Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper (Retiring 154297) for the center’s pop up.

Fun right? And finally a lovely card using the Best Plaid Builder Dies (Retiring 152720) and the Forever Fern Bundle (Retiring 154094).

Laying Circle Dies (151770) were used to highlight the sentiment. I just love the Pretty Peacock (Retiring), Night of Navy, and Just Jade together. How about you?

Dino Days

Seems like most children have a fascination with dinosaurs at some point, I know both my kids did. I’m sure that Barney had something to do with that too. LOL But who doesn’t find them fascinating, the mystery and size of them makes one wonder exactly what were they like? And while movies have given us a more “realistic” look in recent years the Dino Days stamp set (149406) is just sooo cute!

and I love the little sentiments in this set, perfect for our little ones. And for those of you who love coordinating Dino dies (149636), we have those too and they are on sale right now since it’s on the Retirement List!

This first card is done in Sahara Sand and So Saffron and the dies has been used to create the back drop using the negative space to allow the color to show through.

And how about this next card done in Night of Navy and Balmy Blue? A Sponge Dauber was used to create the clouds in the back ground

And don’t you love the “coconut” pearls on tree? Cute, right? If you have a little someone who loves dinosaurs this might be just the thing for you!

Cute Fruit

Do love fun colorful cards? If so you will enjoy today’s cards that pack a “punch”. LOL. Get it fruit punch? Bad pun I know but I just couldn’t resist.

The Cute Fruit stamp set (153301) is one that is part of our Cute Fruit Cards & Tag Bundle (154420) of products, making it quick and easy way to create.

Pineapples – done in shades of Granny Apple Green and Bumblebee. This first card reminds me of my husband who loves pineapple, but never knows when they are ripe enough to cut.

I’d love to take a tour of a pineapple farm (are they called farms?) when in Maui and he’s not overly excited about it. I told him when else can you see them in the fields like that? And after his comment of not knowing when they are ripe, it is a good way to learn how to tell if they are ready to cut. That gave him pause! LOL I may just get to see take the tour now! (Personally I think that is just his excuse not to have to cut it up since he wants me to do it for him, but it sounds good to me since I’m not sure myself.)

And how about this next card using scraps. Fun, and colorful – what a great way to use up your strips of card stock. We’ve all got them in our craft rooms.

Yes, I’ll admit it I’ve got them too. And this simple technique is a great way to use them up! Think of all the possibilities.

And finally this fun little card done in Coastal Cabana, Early Espresso, Granny Apple Green and Bumblebee. How can you not smile when you see that little face?
