About Stamp with Jini

My name is Jini Merck and I'm a Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrator. I love being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, not only do I get to be creative every day, I also get to be a creative coach, offering fresh project ideas and encouragement to my customers and friends. For me, helping someone create that perfect project for a special occasion is the best feeling in the entire world. After all, creating cards, scrapbook pages, and gift items is about more than just stamps and ink—it’s about sharing a part of yourself with the people in your life. I live in Clarkesville which is in the North Georgia Mountains with my husband and two children. Although my family keeps me busy I enjoy the creativity of stamping and crafts and the fellowship stamping brings into my life. Spending time creativing cards and gifts for friends and family has been one of my favorite hobbies over the years.

Tags Til Christmas Hand Sanitizers

I love to give little gift items to family and friends and at this time of year I’m always carrying around hand sanitizer. Soo… when I found these cute little holiday themed pocket sized ones I got some. I think they’ll make great little gifts for my daughter’s friends.

I love using my Big Shot since it makes multiple gift items so easy and the Two Tags Die isn’t just for tags as you can see. I used it to make these cute little toppers for the bottles!

Season of Joy

It’s the Season of Joy, that special time of year when we celebrate Christ. Here is a card that I designed using the Wax Paper Resist technique that we did in November’s Stamp Club meeting.

I used the Season of Joy stamp set since it coordinated with our Petals-a-Plenty Embossing Folder for the Big Shot.  After all, you see poinsettias everywhere this time of year. My son grew some in his green house class last year and brought one home that was beautiful. He was full of interesting facts about them that I wasn’t aware of, but then I have a brown thumb.

I love the way this card turned out, my family however liked my other design better. I’ll try and post the one I ended up using later so you can see which one you like better.

Petals-a-Plenty

Supplies:

Stamp Set: Season of Joy

Inks: Cherry Cobbler

Paper: Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, Basic Black and Glossy White

Accessories: Big Shot, Top Note Die, Petals-a-Plenty Embossing Folder and Paper Snips

More Regional Swaps

Tomorrow is the last day to order from the Summer Mini Catalog, don’t miss out on your favorite items.

Here are two swaps I received at the Charlotte Regional that use the stamp set Swirls & Curls Verses from the Summer Mini Catalog. The first card was given to me by Sheri and uses our Build a Blossom stamp set to make the fish – isn’t that clever?

The second card is from Sheila Radochio and uses our beautiful specialty Flitatious Designer Series Paper along with the new Perfect Pennants die.

A Touch of Kindness from the Charlotte Regional

I thought this card was really cool when I received it for a swap at last weekend’s Charlotte Regional. It uses one of the stamp sets from our Summer Mini Catalog, Touch of Kindness. Isn’t it just fantastic? I wish I could share with you the demonstrator’s name that made this card, but she didn’t include it.

Remember there are just 7 days left to order your favorite items from our Summer Mini Catalog. Don’t miss out your favorites order before it’s too late.

Charlotte Regional – Twist it Up!

Ever have one of those aha moments? Well I did recently at our recent Charlotte Regional when Donna Griffith asked the question, Are you a twister?  Sometimes we forget the most basic things as we demonstrate and need a quick reminder.

Do you twist the markers around until you can see the picture of the tip to determine which end you need?  Well twist no more – just take a look at your marker, and you’ll see a line at each end–one is thicker than the other.

The thick line indicates the fat flare tip.

And the thin line indicates the fine journaling tip.

How about you, are you a twister?

More about the Charlotte Regional

This is my third Regional event and my first event that Shelli, our cofounder and CEO, attended. She greeted everyone with an opening message of creating and sharing what we love with others.  A great message to start off with since that is one of my favorite parts of being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator.

So today I thought I would share with you some of the fantastic display boards with cards made with our new yummy In Colors. My camera is not the best, so I hope you can see all the wonderful samples that were displayed.
