Gingerbread House Fun

Do you enjoy putting together a gingerbread house with the family during the holidays? How about making one with our Baker’s Box?

Baker's Box Gingerbread House

This gingerbread house is calorie free! (Well of course, that doesn’t include the kisses I’ve tucked inside LOL!) And since I’ve used one of our Clothespins that are part of the Online Extravaganza as the chimney you can open it easily to take out the little treat.

I’ve used the Merry Moments Designer Series Paper to create the cute little candies along the bottom and since the Baker’s Box Thinlits come with all kind of extra goodies, I’ve made the door and windows using the thinlits along with the little heart too.

I know you can’t tell since the photo doesn’t pick up the beautiful Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper that I’ve used for the snow covered roof, but the roof just shimmers! Would you believe I cut the bottom edge of the roof with the Square Collection Framelit Dies? Yep, it’s the largest square. Cute, huh?

Making this little gingerbread house took me back to memories of my Girl Scout days in elementary school,  when we took our empty milk cartons and decorated them using royal icing and candies. I kept that little house until it totally fell apart!

Want to make some memories making some gingerbread house yourself? I’ve used several of the products that you can find on our Weekly Deals and Online Extravaganza this week so not only can you make these cute little gingerbread houses, but you can get a great deal too! And when you use my hostess code and purchase more than $35 you’ll get a free gift from me too.

Supplies:

Paper: Merry Moments Designer Series Paper (138450), Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper (135315), Mossy Meadow (133676) and So Saffron card stock (105118)

Blessing Mix

The Bugles are a symbol of the Cornucopia, a horn of plenty.

The Pretzels represent arms folded in Thanks & Prayer.

The Candy Corn reminds us that during the first winter,

Food was so scarce that settlers survived on just a few kernels of corn per day.

The Fruit is a reminder that Thanksgiving is the celebration of the harvest.

The Peanuts represent seeds, the potential of the bounteous

harvest of the next season if they are planted & well tended

Team Time & Happy Hauntings

Last week I got together with some of my team, shoe boxes and stamps. We had a fun evening together stamping. So I’ll be sharing some of the items we stamped together that evening over the next few days.

This first set of items Janette created and brought for us in her shoe box. I love making treats for Halloween and these two are just too much fun. Any little kid would love getting them or even us big kids. LOL

This first item holds home made chocolate treat and uses our Merry Everything stamp set (135068/135071) and the coordinating Note Tag punch (135860).

Merry Everything Stamp Divas Shoebox Oct 2015 (4)

Cute right? Don’t you love the little witches hat made out of our Black Glimmer Paper (139605) holding the top of the bag together? The hat is made using  the Tree Punch (135859), 2 1/2″ Circle Punch (120906), 1 1/4″ Circle Punch (119861) and the Bow Builder Punch (137414). There is a Clothes Pin (133764) on the inside to make is easily removable.

And this second item is just as much fun too.

Sweet Hauntings soda hanger Stamp Divas Shoebox Oct 2015 (3)

The little pixie stick holder is decorated with our Sweet Hauntings stamp set (139702/139705) from the Holiday Catalog. Along with the fun sentiment we used the Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper (139584) again for this project. I love the little plastic spider put on the top of the holder – it adds a eeak! factor. LOL.

Merry Everything and Sweet Hauntings Stamp Divas Shoebox Oct 2015 (2)

Like I said creating treats is fun and makes them extra special and I think these two are going to be a hit!

Stop by again tomorrow when I’ll be sharing some more projects we made.

All Ye Faithful & Weekly Deals

Today’s cards are use the new stamp set All Ye Faithful which contains wonderful sketched images for Christmas.

This first card not only used the All Ye Faithful stamp set (139898/139901) it also uses the Hardwood Background stamp (133032/133035) to create the stable.

DSC03764

The card was stamped with Be a Star (135734/135734) and was cut out using the Star Framelit dies (133723). And can you see the embossed stars behind the manager? They were created using our Lucky Star Embossing Folder (135817).

This card has lots of texture  that draws your eyes to the focal point.

This second card was given to me by Tanisha and while it uses the same All Ye Faithful stamp set it has a very different feel to it.

DSC03762

I just love the colors and berry pattern found in the Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper (139592) that was used behind the rich and elegant Very Vanilla 1 1/4″ Subtle Stripes Satin Ribbon (139616). How about you?

Which is your favorite? Why not leave me a comment and let me know?

Baker’s Box BINGO Treat

Want to see the little gift everyone received at the Bingo event on Sunday? I won’t make you wait – here it is!

BINGO Baker's Box Pillow Gift (3)

This cute little box was created using out NEW Baker’s Box Thinlits Die (138279) and it’s coordinating stamp set, All Boxed Up (138944/139340). Quick and easy and of course filled with what else? Chocolate of course!

Here is a photo of the group of Baker’s Boxes I made for the event. I can’t get enough of these delicate butterflies!

BINGO Baker's Box Pillow Gift (2)

I used the 2015-2016 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack (138432) to create them in all the fun new In Colors and since we have a great selection of Sequin Trim now you can pick the trim color of your choice! I had a lot of fun with these little boxes. (You can see the entire supply list below.)

Just a quick tip when using this Thinlits die with Designer Series Paper, you’ll want to play with your sandwich since it cuts and scores at the same time. Designer Series Paper is thinner than our card stock. I found using my regular tabbed platform worked better since I could adjust the thickness better than with my Magnetic Platform.

After showing everyone what prizes they were playing for

BINGO prizes (7)

everyone settled in and we started with the first 3 games of Bingo –

BINGO paying (13)

Everyone was excited for the winners!

BINGO fun!!!

This past Sunday I held my first BINGO event – for the Catalog Launch. It was a lot of fun and everyone enjoyed the afternoon. We played 6 games of BINGO and made 3 cards using products from the 2015-2016 Annual Catalog. Want to see what it was all about?

Well, here are some of photos of the classroom set up and ready to go.

BINGO classroom (4)

Everyone received a little gift and a Make ‘n Take packet that included their BINGO cards, a $5 coupon along with their supplies to use for their projects.

BINGO packet (3)

I had some displays and samples of course

BINGO display(9)

And my Corner Store with kits along with the pre-made cards, post it note pads and garden stakes for Kaitlin’s DCI fundraiser. (She is currently in Oklahoma preparing for tonight’s performance.)

BINGO display(8)

And what event would be complete without some goodies to keep us stamping!

BINGO snacks (12)

I had fun making our water bottles a bit more festive too. I  used the NEW 2015 In Colors Designer Series Paper Stack (138432) and the All About Sugar stamp set (138684). Quick and easy to add this little touch and the refrigerator didn’t cause any problems with the added labels I simply adhered them to the top of the wrapper already on the bottles and voila!.

BINGO waterbottles(18)

And of course the BINGO prize table had to have a special touch – so I created this banner for it.

BINGO banner

I love our new Build a Banner kit (138379) the shapes are fun and the kit is filled with a ton of stencils to choose from, so the options are endless. And of course, you know how I feel about our Stampin’ Spritzers!  I have listed the supplies I used for this project below for you. And you can see my Getting Started with Stampin’ Spritzers Tutorial HERE.

Want to see some more photos?

BINGO paying (10)

It got quiet at times as everyone was concentrating, BINGO paying (11)

but I loved the fellowship and fun as everyone was excited for each other as they called out Bingo!

BINGO paying (12)

Everyone used buttons as their bingo pieces that were on the table in little Berry Baskets that I created with our die. And of course, our BINGO Master, my hubbie Larry joined in the fun too!

BINGO Larry Bingo Master (11)

He’s looking forward to the next time we play. He was having a lot of fun with the cage of balls.  LOL!

Stop on by tomorrow when I’ll share the little gift everyone got along with some more pictures.
