The retirement list was announced yesterday so while I’m busy getting your special projects ready for the Retirement Party on May 19th I wanted to do some fun and exciting things leading up to it since it’s my 5th year as a Demonstrator!

The stamps and accessories Retirement Lists were posted yesterday; you can click HERE to get your copy if you haven’t already.

Giveaways will be posted randomly on the Stamp with Jini facebook page, my Stamp with Jini YouTube Channel, Twitter and here on my Blog and will continue until the deadline of May 18^th. (This will give me enough time to gather and compile names so they can be announced the day of my Retirement Party on May 19^th! I’ll post them here on my blog after the party.)

I’m going to be giving you lots of ways to play along and lots of ways to win! I want everyone to have fun and help me spread the word about my Retirement Party which is FREE.

Add one more stamp set you think will retire in case I need a tie breaker (for a total of 11)

Include your name, address, and phone number (I’ll need these if you’re the winner so I can get your prize to you.)
Email me your list by 9 pm on Friday, April 19th

If by off chance the list is leaked early, then the contest is off. Remember, all Hostess sets retire so don’t include them in your list since they won’t count. Everyone is welcome to play; however, fellow Demonstrators won’t be included for the prize.

The Open Sea

Need a great male card? The Open Sea stamp set is wonderful for making masculine cards and here is a great card that my friend Bonnie gave me recently during one of our demonstrator gatherings. I really like the way she used our Stampin’ Distressing Tool (item 127562) from the Spring Catalog to distress the edges of the card stock.

Did you notice that this card was created using our Not Quite Navy Ink and Cardstock that are being retired? Although I’m excited about the upcoming Color Refresh, I’m going to really miss Not Quite Navy. It’s always been one of my go to colors for masculine cards. I’m sure I’ll find myself reaching for our In Color Midnight Muse more and more when Not Quite Navy is no longer available soon.

Coming Soon – NEW Wood Mount Cases

Stampin’ Up! just announced that they will be packaging their wood-mount stamp sets in NEW Wood Mount Cases! Yippee!! I was so excited about this news because these NEW Wood Mount Cases are similar to our clear mount cases so they will fit perfectly together on your shelf. Needless to say this makes the organizer in me squeal with delight – uniform and “modular” in design. They will also have the images and stamp set names on the spine to make searching for the set you want even easier.

I know you’re asking when these will be available- Well the NEW Wood Mount Cases will become available as of May 31^st when the NEW 2013-2014 Catalog goes live. AND extra Wood Mount Cases will also be available just like our Clear Mount Cases currently available now!

Wait it gets even sweeter – because there will be a template for you to create your own labels if you want to transfer your older sets into this sleek new organization system of cases.

Watercolor Pencils Discontinued

Stampin’ Up’ announced today due to unforeseen problems with suppliers they have decided to discontinue their Watercolor Pencils (item 101879) effective immediately.

While the Watercolor Wonder Crayons are also being discontinued, and the Brights Collection (item 119804) is no longer available. The Good News is three of the collections are still available while supplies last.
