#imbringingbirthdaysback with Painted Seasons

I love sending birthday cards to family and friends and today’s card is my March birthday card that I’ve created using the NEW Sale-a-bration option, Painted Seasons. While this stamp set is bundled with a fantastic Designer Series Paper I wanted to create something with just the stamps for this project and here is what I came up with.

Bright and cheerful – it uses a favorite color of mine Berry Burst that has been teamed up with Granny Apple Green. And I used Basic Gray instead of black for the sentiment to give this card a “softer” feel.

This card uses our Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies a must have if you love the stitch look that so on trend and it makes creating this card so easy. I’ve whipped up a quick video for you, so why not check it out?

Country Livin’

Do you sometimes put something you are working on aside and think – oh I’ll get back to that? I know I have a stack of things and I recently went through it to clean up my craft room. I was excited when I found this card that I did during a shoe box swap. I had not done a nice job as I wanted on some of the parts since I was in a hurry and so was going to fix it when I got home. LOL Fast forward…. you know how that goes.

Well I got it done with a few changes since it had been so long, but I really like how it turned out.

I’m afraid I don’t have any information on who shared this project, but I still love the original card that inspired me.

Masculine cards are always great to have on hand and this set is a particular favorite of mine for the guys in my life.

Home to Roost

Have you seen the Sale-a-bration stamp set Home to Roost? This set has a wonderful rooster in it along with some great sentiments. With my husband’s chickens and his new chicken coop that he got for Christmas, I knew this was a set I wanted to earn for FREE during Sale-a-bration.

Check out these great cards made with the set.

This first one uses the Wood Textures Designer Series paper as the back drop for this simply stamped rooster. I love the way it has been teamed up with the Gingham Gala Designer (148554), Adhesive Baked Sequins (148561), and Flax Ribbon (148764). I think it gives a twist to the country feel of years gone by.

And how about this one? It also uses the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper (144177) but the colors and the Buffalo Check Stamp (147797/147794) give it a very different feel.

And this final card uses the Tin Tile Embossing Folder (147906) and our colors Tranquil Tide and Mint Macron as a back drop for this lovely rooster colored with our Watercolor Pencils.

Just beautiful and classic.

Varied Vases

With the spike in temperature last week I was thinking spring – so here is a bright cheerful card made with the Varied Vases Bundle from the Annual Catalog.

Today’s post is going to be quick since I’m expecting my son to be cracking the whip and needing me for our home improvement project again. He’s got a ton of energy and kept me working until after 11 last night. Oh, for the days when I used to have that much energy. LOL! (I’ll try and share some pictures with you next week, so you can see what I’ve been up to.)

I’m loving this Bundle of products and the fact I can use this punch with the Vibrant Vases stamp set (148656) offered in the Occasions Catalog too! More options, means more value, yippie!

I like the Blueberry Bushel and Calypso Coral combination that I used on this card, it’s bold and cheerful and perfect to chase away the winter time blues.

I’ve whipped up a quick tutorial for you too. Just a PDF this time, but I do have a tip for how to stamp easily with this punch that I’ve listed on the tutorial for you. And of course this set is great to use with your Stamparatus since it is a two step and allows you to stamp the flowers easily and at one time too. Got to love that, right?

Artfully Aware

The Artfully Aware stamp set was inspired by one of our Demonstrators, Janet Wakeland and she shared her story of how she and the Stampin’ Up! artists created this set during our November OnStage in Orlando. I was deeply touched by her story of her mom’s struggle with Alzheimers. I think most of us have someone we love who is or has struggled with this awful disease and now you too can make a difference in someone’s life with your thoughts of encouragement and support when you choose this set.

Serene Garden & Team Time

I love getting together with my team at our monthly meeting and sharing. We have a lot of fun together learning new things and sharing. Today’s projects were all part of our team swaps.

This first card uses the Serene Garden bundle (148395) and the emboss resist technique.

Simply use our Versa Mark Ink Pad and White Embossing Powder stamp the image and then use a Sponge Dauber and Gorgeous Grape Ink (147099) to create this lovely soft background.

And how about this fun square card using the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set (142924) and Thinlits Dies (142749).

It’s fun fold pops open making it extra special.

And this fun project is a 3d that holds a bright and cheerful nail file. The holder was created with our Envelope Punch Board (133774).

And the A Good Day stamp set (145870/145873) was used for this fun 3d not only were stamps used for the sentiment, but also to create a background to match the nail file using the Granny Apple 147095/147163) and Melon Mambo Classic Inks (147051/115662).

And this final card was made using the Lasting Lily (Sale-a-bration 149717) stamp set and our Wood Textures (144177) and Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper (148554).
