Inspiring Iris

One of my mom’s favorite flowers in her garden are her bearded iris. Her garden was filled with color and a bunch of different varieties and sizes when I was a child. A love of gardening that was passed down from her mother and her Aunt Adeline. I still remember those walks through the yard sharing each bed and talking about what was in them. Not a skill that was passed down to me I’m afraid. So this stamp set is more my skill level and it reminds me of those childhood strolls.

Here is a lovely card done in shades of Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape.

I wish you could see the shimmer of the black embossed outline and sentiment, I’m not sure it shows up well in the photo.

Just a quick note about our un orderable items since this project includes a couple of them – if you find that an item in our 2019 Annual Catalog is not showing up in my online store it’s because it is in back order and we are waiting for stock to arrive. It has not been discontinued. If you have any questions about an item you are looking for that doesn’t show up in the Online Store please let me know. I’m happy to let you know when they are available again.

I’ll include the supply list below for you so you can make one too.

Daisy Lane Card Tutorial

Last Friday I shared the cute little purse I made for the 2019 Catalog Kick Off with you and as promised here is the first of the Make n Takes that we made.

It uses our Daisy Lane Stamp Set (149325) and the lovely NEW 2019-2021 In Color Sea Side Spray. I’ve fallen in love with this soft vintage feeling blue – I find myself reaching for it a lot and I think it’s perfect color choice for this set.

What’s great about this set?
