Curvy Christmas Mistletoe Card Tutorial

What fun it was using this new stamp set to create this card. This NEW Quite Curvy Variety Bundle (158396) has so many options too! I just love it’s curves and images that tuck right into them.

I’ve whipped up a quick card to share with you today using the Curvy Christmas stamp set along with the Curvy Die Case Insert for your organizational needs too. So you’ll want to read all the way to the bottom.

The Classic Christmas Designer Series Paper in this stack only uses 3 colors Cherry Cobbler, Sahara Sand, and Shaded Spruce so it makes it a great option for beginner stamps since you the 3 ink colors will give you all kinds of options for the holidays. AND the stack has 4 great patterns in all the colors making it easy to create a bunch of cards too.

Peaceful Nativity in Silhouette

Last week I shared some cards using the Peaceful Nativity Bundle and so today I thought I’d share with you some cards just using the dies. When I first saw this bundle, I thought it would be perfect in silhouette.

This next card adds some texture with the back drop of In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (152494), In Color Enamel Dots (152480), and Gold Foil (132622).

These dies are great by themselves or teamed up with the Peaceful Nativity sentiments.

Peaceful Nativity

The reason for the season – this stamp set, Peaceful Nativity gives you a wonderful way to spread some love this season.

The Peaceful Nativity has not only wonderful images that gives you lots of options, but it also includes wonderful sentiments too.

Here are 3 cards today that have been stamped with this set. If you love to color our Stampin’ Blends make it easy.

Or if you prefer a monochromatic look, how about this card? Early Espresso was used to stamp the image onto our Crumb Cake Card stock – elegant in its simplicity.

And finally, a technique card using a sponged background. The stars were stamped in our Whisper White and the crèche along with the sentiment were heat embossed.

What ever method you choose I think you’ll enjoy creating with this Bundle for the holidays.

Poinsettia Petals

What do you think of when you think of Christmas? For me it’s the poinsettia sitting on my mother’s table. This bright pop of red and green during the long winters was always a bright spot. Now we have so many choices when it comes to colors that poinsettias come in, but back then I don’t think I ever saw anything but red growing up in Wisconsin.

So Today I’m going to start with this lovely card with the traditional red poinsettia.

I love contrast of the Real Red against the Soft Sea Foam. This Suite of products has all kinds of choices, but until you see these Beaded Pearls in person you won’t believe just how lovely they are!

This next card uses our Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper to add some interest.

And finally, this last card makes a bold statement with this soft white poinsettia stamped in Soft Suede.

Wow, I think what ever the choice of color you’ll find working with this bundle a lot of fun.

Lots to Celebrate

Wow, can you believe there are less than 60 days left till Christmas? The holidays are upon us and so today I’ll be sharing another stamp set that will serve you well all through the holiday season. The Lots to Celebrate stamp set is a lot of fun with it’s mason jars images, Jar Punch and it’s coordinating Mason Jar Shaker Domes. After all who can resist a shaker?

While today’s cards don’t use the shaker domes, they are charming and perfect to mail out to your friends and family. I’ve got this first one which is autumn themed and the sentiment is perfect to let someone know you are thinking of them.

Done in shades of Bumblebee and Cinnamon Cider it has a fun fall feel to it.

And this next card is great for the holidays with it’s traditional Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green.

I love the little punched Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper around the rims. It adds a pop of color and festive feel.

Lots of Leaves

Today’s post will be a quick one I’ve got a full day that will end with getting to watch my daughter’s band doing their Journey show at an exhibition. So without further ado….

Today’s card highlights the lovely Lots of Leaves stamp set. This set is one I couldn’t resist with the large bold images and coordinating dies.

Originally I thought this would be a great for making masculine cards and then I looked at the sentiments closer. The sentiments are lovely don’t you think? Something for every occasion, making this set a year round one simply by changing up the colors.

The images as you can see have a wonderful shading to them adding depth and texture. And the dies are great since you can use them in to create positive image projects like this or use the left over negative image to create even more projects. And you’re going to love the stitching on the outside of the negative images!

Beautiful Autumn & More

Today I’m sharing a couple of cards with you using the Beautiful Autumn Bundle (155189) and more. This bundle has quickly become a favorite of mine with it’s lovely sentiments and selection of images that can be punched out. There are a great size for treats also, which I love to make too and makes it a versatile option for the fall season.

This first card uses the bold color pallet from the Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper (153527) that it uses. I love the way this little stack of 6×6 pattern can be used from fall all the way through the end of winter due to the selection of colors in it.

And here is another card using the same stamp set, but this time it has been teamed up with the beautiful Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper (153520).

The sentiment has been cut out using the Tasteful Labels Dies (152886). If you haven’t invested in this set of dies you’ll want to since it is wonderful for all kinds of projects! It contains all kinds of shapes and sizes making it a great addition to your collection!

And today’s final card add these wonderful embossed leaves that were cut out with the Gathered Leaves Dies (150662).
