Occasions Alphabet

Since I was in a Raspberry Ripple monochromatic mood I made another get well card using the Occasions Alphabet stamp set. This set contains 26 different sentiments that cover every occasion you can think of – and the alphabet itself is done in a particularly lovely font I think.

So here is what I came up with. Once again I used the Build a Banner Simply Created Kit, however this time I tried out the chevron template. (You can watch my video HERE to see how I did the technique itself.)

I added a piece of Tea Lace Paper Doilies that was left over from my earlier project folding it in half and cut out the sentiment that I stamped in Raspberry Ripple using our banner framelit from the Hearts a Flutter Framelits set.

What do you think? I’m not sure that I’m happy with the letter q – I’m thinking maybe I should have used a different letter. Hmmmm – we’ll hopefully the card will brighten their day a little when they receive it.

Itty Bitty Banners Thank You

I needed some thank you cards and thought it would be fun to use my Build a Banner Simply Created Kit to make them since I love the polka dot stencil. And for some reason it just seemed natural to use the Itty Bitty Banners Stamp Set for the sentiment. I really like the soft look of this card and hope my friend does too when she receives it.

Creating Cards with the Build a Banner Kit
