Today I thought I would share with you the card that I mentioned in my December 2^nd blog post HERE that we did for my technique club in November. It uses the Wax Paper Resist Technique and the Petals-a-Plenty Embossing Folder. Which one do you like better?

This next card I created using the Hand-Penned Holidays stamp set from the Holiday Mini Catalog and the Petals-a-Plenty Embossing Folder using the same technique. I will miss this set with its elegant script and it is sooo forgiving if you don’t get it lined up perfectly. I hope everyone is enjoying this holiday season with family and friends. I love this time of year and now that both my children are out for their school breaks we are working around the house getting ready for Christmas. I finished all of my baking yesterday with the help of my oldest son, Johnathan. He loves to help me bake the Christmas cookies so he can snitch some and is sure he is getting his favorites too! It makes me feel good that he enjoys the holiday traditions we’ve built as a family over the years.

Stitched Stockings for Christmas

Do you love our Stitched Stockings Stamp Set? I’ve got mine hung on our mantle – I’ve created a felt stocking for each of my family members over the years based on our personalities, so the Stitched Stocking Stamp Set and Stocking Builder Punch were a natural addition to my collection.

Here is a card that I received in a swap from Awilda Cruz at the Charlotte Regional this fall. Isn’t it cute? I like the way she used the wood grain paper from our Frostwood Lodge Designer Series Paper in the Holiday Mini to create the mantel the Stitched Stockings are hanging from.

Christmas Lodge

As I have mentioned before Christmas Lodge from the Holiday Mini is a great stamp set. (Remember all the items in the Holiday Mini are only available until January 3, 2012.)

Here is a card my friend Lorraine gave me recently that uses the Christmas Lodge stamp set. I really like the way she used our Decorative Label Punch to create the little tag for the sentiment.

Holly Berry Bouquet Holiday Planner

Here is a picture of my Holly Berry Bouquet Holiday Planner that I made recently during my last SINKS meeting. I love to be organized and there is no better time than during the holidays since it makes life so much easier. There is nothing I hate more than getting back home after a shopping trip and realizing I bought the wrong thing or forgot something I needed. How about you?

I think this Holly Berry Bouquet Holiday Planner would also be great to use throughout the year to pick up gift items for special friends and loved ones.

Christmas Lodge

The Christmas Lodge Stamp Set – it makes me think of Bing Crosby and one of my favorite holiday movies White Christmas. The stamp set is available in our Holiday Mini and will be a classic.

Here is a card I made at last month’s SINKS meeting using the Christmas Lodge Stamp Set with my fellow demos. It’s a bit over the top – but I fell in love with it. After all who doesn’t love a little sparkle, and this card delivers that!

Sneak Peek of the Holiday Mini

Well I’ve spent the morning freezing and canning some of the items from the garden my son pick and I’m ready to relax and do a little stamping.

I’m so excited about the Holiday Mini coming out on September 1^st that I thought I would share with you one of my favorite items from it. I love Designer Series Paper and how easy it makes planning a card. So, today I thought I would share with you a sneak peek of the Spice Cake Designer Series Paper. This card is one of the cards I designed for my Charlotte Regional swaps. What do you think?
