A Fitting Occasion

Have a new addition on the way? Or know someone who does? Here is a cute little card using the A Fitting Occasions stamp set found on page 140 in the Annual Catalog. This set is one of those that is great for year round use. Just change out the images and sentiments to create cards for almost any occasion.

And this card has a soft feel to it, perfect for baby, since it uses two of our 2013-2016 In Colors, Coastal Cabana and Crisp Cantaloupe.

Yippie! More Convention Swaps

This first one uses the bicycle image from the Postage Due (item 132064/126397) and Secret Garden (item131940/129144). I love the way that Patricia used the Vintage Trinkets (item 118764) for the center of the wheels and the score board and Scallop Edge Border Punch (item 119882) to create the fence.

Wildflower Meadow

Wildflower Meadow (item 129165/129168) is a background stamp that I think you’re going to love using. It makes a quick and easy card and lends itself to all kinds of different techniques.

I don’t think the picture shows it well, but if you could see it in person you would notice that the image has a shimmer to it. How did I get it? Well I used our Illuminate Glimmer Watermark Stampin’ Pad (item 126857) and Clear Embossing Powder (item 109130) when I stamped the image. Then I used our coordinating Wildflower Meadow Embossing Folder (item 129736) and ran it through the Big Shot.

I used my Stampin’ Markers to create the greeting along with the Label Love Stamp Set (item 130619/130622). And after stamping punched it out with our coordinating punch, the Artisan Label. A quick bit of ribbon tied in a bow and voila’.

The great thing about the new 2013-2014 Catalog is that there are more bundles than ever! Did you notice that I said coordinating items? Well I used two different Bundles to create this card that are available at a 15% discount. The Wildflower Meadow Bundle (item 132735/132985) and the Label Love Bundle (item 132723/132722).

Label Love

If you like punches you are going to love this new stamp set Label Love (item 130619/130622) found on page 33 in our NEW 2013-2014 Catalog! The Label Love stamp set coordinates with the Artisan Label Punch (item 130920) and is great for all kinds of different occasions. No fussy cutting with this set and I’m definitely a punch kind of girl. How about you?

My card today was made during my weekend retreat and was part of our shoebox swaps. My friend Aniko designed this card and I tweaked it a little bit – that is the fun of a shoebox swap after all, being able to change it up a bit to suite you personality.

This Label Love card was my first opportunity to use our NEW Candy Dots and I’ve got to tell you that if you haven’t ordered any yet, you’ll want to. You’re going to loooove them hands down!
