With the new Color Refresh right around the corner I wanted to share with you this great card I received in a swap that uses our retiring colors More Mustard and Bravo Burgundy card stock.

I love the way that Teresa used our Delicate Doilies Stamp Set (item 125590/122592) to create the pattern on the butterflies. Isn’t that a great use of the Delicate Doilies stamp set?

The Open Sea

Need a great male card? The Open Sea stamp set is wonderful for making masculine cards and here is a great card that my friend Bonnie gave me recently during one of our demonstrator gatherings. I really like the way she used our Stampin’ Distressing Tool (item 127562) from the Spring Catalog to distress the edges of the card stock.

Did you notice that this card was created using our Not Quite Navy Ink and Cardstock that are being retired? Although I’m excited about the upcoming Color Refresh, I’m going to really miss Not Quite Navy. It’s always been one of my go to colors for masculine cards. I’m sure I’ll find myself reaching for our In Color Midnight Muse more and more when Not Quite Navy is no longer available soon.

Saying Goodbye to Pretty in Pink

Pretty in Pink has been one of my favorites since I started stamping. How about you is it one of yours? I was rather sad to see it on the retirement list (click HERE to see more about the Color Refresh), but am excited about the new colors too!

So today I thought I would share a card that I made using the Pretty In Pink Designer Series Paper from the Subtles Designer Series Paper Stack (item 117152). With four of our Subtles Collection colors saying goodbye it’s a great way to get them all and in 4 different patterns!

I love the stamp set I used to create the focal point on this card, Papillon Potpourri (item 123757/123759). After all who doesn’t like butterflies?

Here is a great card that I received in a swap that uses the Blooming with Kindness Stamp Set and one of my favorite retiring colors Baja Breeze. I’m really rather sad to see this color go, but at the same time looking forward to the Color Refresh too.

What’s Your Best Guess?

It won’t be long and this year’s Retirement List will be out – There is always a lot of speculation as to which stamp sets will be on the retirement list and this year I thought it would be fun to see who can guess what’s on this year’s list.

So…… I thought why not make it a contest to see who predicts most accurately, and of course, there has to be a prize if it’s a contest – Right? And I have something special for that lucky winner.

Sound like fun? Want to see if you are the one who gets the most right? Who will be the closest? You or maybe your friend? Well there is only one way to test yourself and see how you stack up. Are you up to the challenge and want to play?

Make a list of the top 10 stamp sets that you think are retiring. Then add 1 more in case I need a tie breaker.

Lately it seems I’m always in need of a sympathy card and here is a lovely card I made using the Inspired by Nature stamp set. I love the way this card turned out and so I’ve used it repeatedly this year to send family and friends when we lost someone. You can click HERE to see more.
