Sassy Salutations Quilt

I love the fun font that you find in the Sassy Salutations stamp set and so I thought I’d mix it up with the Wildflower Fields Designer Series Paper (141022) that you can earn FREE during Sale-a-bration.

Here is what I came up with.

So what do you think? I love the bold colors found in the Wildflower Fields Designer Series Paper and thought it would be fun in a patch work type design. Since this card was designed for a friend who recently had surgery I was thinking get well, sick, bed, quilts. Ah, how my mind meanders. LOL!

I used one of our White Perfect Accents (138416) for the center of the flower. I like the different look it has. Typically I would have grabbed my Pearls or Rhinestones but wanted something a little more subtle to go with the soft Pool Party card base.

Leadership Shoebox Swap – Life in the Forest

Here is my first shoebox swap from Leadership in Houston. I love the way this card turned out and the little animals in the Life in the Forest set. I think this would make a great card for anyone who loves animals, but especially for those guys in my life. What do you think?

This card was simple and quick to make. All I did was stamp my images in Jet Black StazOn and then water color the images using my Classic Ink Pads. After they dried I punched them out using my 1″ Square Punch and mounted them onto Early Espresso pieces that I punched out with my Postage Square Punch. Don’t you love how easy and quick punches make things?

The little piece of Island Indigo Chevron Ribbon gave a bit more texture and I thought the quirky little sayings in the Sassy Salutations set fit these cute little images just right and conveyed the whimsical feeling I was going for.

Sassy Birthday Bow Tie

Here is a fun birthday card that I made for my friend that uses our Birthday Basics Designer Series Paper and the Gift Bow Bigz Die. This card was fun and quick to make since it uses our Gift Bow Bigz Die (129977).

I love the quirky font used for our Sassy Salutations stamp set (132070/126707) and thought this was a perfect set for this card. I call this a “bow tie” bow and since my friend’s birthday is New Years Day I thought it would be a great card for her, but I also think it is a great guys card too with a couple of color changes. What do you think?

I got the greetings Sassy Salutations (item 132070/126707) stamp set last month and couldn’t resist playing with it. Here is a clean and simple card I created using the set along with the new Flower Shop stamp set (item 130939/130942).
