Hi everyone, I hope that you are having a wonderful Valentine’s Day and have something fun planned for the day whether you are able to spend it with someone you love or doing something you love. As usual my hubby is working since he does rotating shift work – so special occasions are always a bit more challenging for us. We’re planning on celebrating a few days late – but hey that means everything will be less crowded right?
So in celebration of Valentine’s Day I thought I would share with you some of the wonderful swaps that I received from my fellow demonstrators during Leadership. Enjoy!
If you get a chance come back later – I’ll be sharing the special little treat I made for my valentines.
One of my favorite parts of being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator is spending time sharing ideas and projects with my fellow demonstrators. I’ve been so blessed with the friendships and the people I’ve meet while on my journey as a demonstrator with Stampin’ Up! I wanted to share a little bit about my team with you.
My Team’s name is the Blue Mountain Stampers, chosen due to fact that we live here in the North Georgia foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Recently we met for our monthly meeting and so today I want to share some of the wonderful swaps my team members brought along with them to swap.
Tamara made this cute little Sweet Treat Box for Valentine’s Day using the adorable Owl Builder Punch (item 118074) and the Print Poetry Designer Series Paper Stack (item 129312) that she got in her Starter Kit. Filled with chocolate kisses it’s not only too cute but is sure to be a hit with anyone! (Quick hide it from my husband – Somehow he always knows when a swap contains chocolate!)
This next swap was created by Janie. Janie whom recently celebrated her one year anniversary as a demonstrator, gave us these wonderful cards and coordinating envelopes. I just love the way Janie thinks outside the box. She used the Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper (item 126902) and the Lovely Letters Alphabet stamp set (item 115030/127786) to create a personalized note card in different colors for each of us.
And finally Cindy who has been a demonstrator the longest now, brought these wonderful swaps using the Love You Much image from our NEW Best of 25 Years stamp set for February – Best of Love stamp set (item 132987) to create her two items.
I love the little envelope she made using the Sunshine & Sprinkles Designer Series Paper (item 126922). Doesn’t it make you smile just looking at it? The hearts were created with our Hearts a Flutter Framelits (item 130159). Both these great items can be found in our Spring Catalog.
The second item Cindy gave us makes a great gift item for someone’s desk. I really like the way Cindy used the More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper (item 129309) to decorate the fabulous NEW Designer Builder Brads (item 129329) and binder clip don’t you?
Does this look like fun? Is this something you might be interested in doing? Have you ever thought about joining Stampin’ Up?

Look at this elegant card that Anna created using just one of our 2011-2013In Colors. I really like to work with the 3/8″ Ruffled Ribbon that our 2011-2013 In Colors come in – it ties so wonderfully.
Supplies:
Stamp Set: Secret Garden and Curly Cute
Inks: Calypso Coral
Paper: Calypso Coral and Whisper White
Accessories: Calypso Coral 3/8″ Ruffled Ribbon, Big Shot, Secret Garden Framelits Dies, and Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder
Seasonal Sayings is a great stamp set to have on hand because its sentiments cover so many different occasions. Cindy used this “Love You” image to create this great card for Valentine’s Day or just to tell someone you love them.
I really like all the texture the card has on it so I hope my picture does it justice.
Here is a clean and simply card that my friend Teresa gave me during our monthly meeting that uses the Cross My Heart stamp set (item 126580 w/126582 cm) and the More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper(item 129309).
Don’t you love how easy it is to snip the laser cut sheets apart to create a focal point for any card?
Supplies:
Stamp Set: Cross My Heart stamp set
Inks: Primrose Petals Classic Ink
Paper: More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper, Primrose Petals and Very Vanilla Card Stock
Need a way to give a gift card or a little note to someone special? Here is a great little pocket card that can hold either created with our More Amore SpecialtyDesigner Series Paper (item 129309) from our Spring Catalog.

Have you seen the Cross My Heart Stamp Set(item 126580 w or item 126582 cm) in the Spring Catalog? Crossword puzzles remind me of my stepfather, Paul, who use to sit and work his from the Milwaukee Sentinel newspaper every day. When he could he would encourage me to help him fill them out – I was an awful speller as a child so this took a lot effort on his part.
Well, the Cross My Heart Stamp Set is just, fun – and I wanted to share a 3d swap that I received during Leadership from fellow demo Judy Westcott.
Judy used several items from our Spring Catalog along with our Petite Purse Die (item 125606) to make this Valentine treat. Isn’t it cute – and of course what can you put inside? Chocolate of course!
Supplies:
Stamp Set: Cross My Heart
Inks: Raspberry Ripple
Paper: More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper, Pool Party, Pretty in Pink and Whisper White Card Stock
Accessories: Big Shot, Petite Purse Die, Hearts a Flutter Framelits Die, Full Heart Punch and Rhinestone Basic Jewels
Hearts a Flutter is such a great stamp set that has coordinating Framelits so who can resist, right? Here is a card that I received during Leadership from a fellow demonstrator which beautifully highlights the Hearts a Flutter stamp set and Framelits Bundle.
Supplies:
Stamp Set: Hearts A Flutter and Delightful Dozen
Inks: Basic Black and Rose Red Classic Ink
Paper: Silver Glimmer Paper, Pretty in Pink, Rose Red, and Whisper White Card Stock
Accessories: Stampin’ Write Marker, Big Shot, Hearts a Flutter and Ovals Collection Framelits, Large Rhinestone Basic Jewels, 5/8″ Flower Trim, Sycamore Street Ribbon & Button Pack (FREE Sale-a-bration item 130812), Itty Bitty Punch Pack, and Whisper White 5/8″ Organza Ribbon
Want to see what we did at my FREE Sale-a-bration Celebration Event? This past Sunday I was able to share the NEW Spring Catalog products and some of the things I brought back with me from Stampin’ Up! Leadership in Orlando. What fun everyone had together – it’s one of my favorite parts of stamping.
First here are some pictures of my classroom and some of the displays.
Of course there has to be chocolate – after all what would be stamping without chocolate?
Everyone seemed to have a great time with the two cards they were able to make.
Here is my favorite card that I created for the event using the Just Thinking Stamp from the Spring Catalog. Just Thinking was one of the stamps I just knew I wanted when I saw the Spring Catalog the first time!
Since not everyone was able to come I thought I would share with you a tutorial on how my Just Thinking card was made, along with my very first video tutorial showing you how to use our Core’dinations Card Stock. I just love the Core’dinations Card Stock and think you will too – it’s a lot of fun to work with and very versatile. Better yet you’ll find three Core’dinationCard Stock color choices Pool Party (item 129321), Primrose Petals (item 129322), and Real Red (item 129320) in the Spring Catalog on page 12.
Just Thinking Tutorial

Very Vanilla Card Stock (item 101650 $8.50): 8 1/2″ x 3 ½”
5/8″ Very Vanilla Seam Binding (item 120999 $6.96): 20″

2 ½” Circle Punch (item 120906 $16.95)
Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive (item 110755 $3.95)
Dimensionals (item 104430 $3.95)
Instructions:
1. Prepare your Core’dinations Card Stock Layer as shown in the video.
2. Adhere the Primrose Petals Core’dinations Card Stock to your card front using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. (I like to use this adhesive on anything that has a heavy texture.)
3. Stamp two images onto Very Vanilla Card Stock using Raspberry Ripple Classic Ink.
4. Using the Window Frame Framelits Die and Big Shot cut out one of the images.
5. Adhere to the card front.
6. Punch the sentiment out of the second stamped image using the 2 ½” Circle Punch.
7. Adhere to the card front using Dimensionals.
8. Loop ribbon around the card front and tie into a bow. Trim ends.
That’s it – now you can send your card to someone you’re thinking about.

Have you seen the More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper(item #129309 $12.95) in the Spring Catalog? If you haven’t yet you’re going to love it! Not only does it come with 10 sheets of 5 different double sided designs but it also comes with a sheet of laser cut hearts!
This first swap from Leadership uses that sheet of fantastic laser cut hearts from the More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper along with Hearts a Flutter Bundle. Just snip the laser cut hearts apart and voila! You’ve got a great focal point.
This second card given to me by Phoebe Bird uses those great little roses from the 5/8″ Flower Trim (item #126869 $6.95) and our Paper Doilies (item # 129399 $2.95) along with the rich 1¼” Two-Tone Pink Pirouette/Rose Red Ribbon (item #129294 just $6.95) which is one of my favorite things from this Spring’s Catalog!
Which is your favorite? Leave me a comment and let me know.
