Truly Grateful

Since Thanksgiving is just a couple of days away I thought I would share with you some wonderful swaps that I have received from my friends during our monthly meetings. I couldn’t pick just one since I think they are all wonderful cards.

This first one is uses the Tags 4 You stamp set (131820/131823) and it’s coordinating Label Bracket Punch (132153). Anna cut the Sweather Weather Designer Series Paper (132184) using the Autumn Accents Bigz Die (127812) and used them to form the wreath. I really love the way she used the Woodgrain Embossing Folder (127821) to make it look like it was hanging on a door.

This second card uses our Truly Grateful Stamp Set (131730/131733) from the Holiday Catalog. Lorraine used the Chevron Border Punch (132154) to create this wonderful look along the bottom of the card. I love the rich earthy feel of this card made using our Baked Brown Sugar and Summer Starfruit Card Stock.

And finally this last card is from my friend Bonnie. I really love the non traditional fall colors she used. Who would think of Bermuda Bay, Raspberry Ripple, Old Olive and Summer Starfruit when looking at the Gently Falling Stamp Set (128430/123804)? But I love it – the card brings a smile to my face every time I see it. I especially like the Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons that has been added to the Linen Thread she wrapped around the bottom of the card. It really catches the light.

Papillon Potpourri File Folder Card

Here is the fourth File Folder Card that I’ve created for you and is part of my video series. This card is a little different since it has a flap and the flap is tucked behind the popped up element to keep it closed. I really like the Papillon Potpourri Stamp set with all the different butterflies it contains and the fact it has two coordinating punches makes it even more appealing to me – how about you? Are you a punch-aholic too?

This card uses the Sweater Weather Designer Series Paper and while I know it is for fall I thought it worked well with the butterflies since to me they looked like Monarchs. I used the greeting from the Truly Grateful Stamp set and stamped it in Chocolate Chip. You can find the Truly Grateful Stamp set in the Holiday Catalog – I love the fonts that these two greetings use and the images are wonderful too. So why not check it out?

Creating Cards with the Build a Banner Kit
