August Class Schedule

Save the date for my summer classes and have fun stamping with me while using our NEW 2019 Annual Catalog products & pick up your Holiday Catalog! Classes are free with a minimum purchase so not only can you play with new products, learn new things, you can also build your supply of cards to send family and friends too!

Card Class –

During this event, you’ll make 6 cards (2 each of 3 designs)

Work at your own pace. Everything is included except your favorite Adhesives

Cards are clean and simple designs AND you choose the sentiments

The class includes cards for birthdays, thinking of you, thank you, seasonal, and more.

Do you love bold color? If so you’ll love this wild rose card that I’ve made using the Bright Collection color, Poppy Parade. Not only is it bright and bold, when you team it up with a 2 step stamp set like To a Wild Rose, you’ll get a wonderful color with lots of depth. Check out this month’s Thank you card using the set.

Like it? This project is one of those that Stampin’ Up! has included in our quarterly Demonstrator resource, Stampin’ Success. I just changed it up a bit. Beautiful Perennial Essence Suite

This Suite of products is just striking with it’s rich colors and images – the Designer Series Paper itself is beautiful all by itself. But when you team it up with the other products in the Suite you have soooo many choices to create with! If you haven’t seen the Suite you can find it on page 106-108 of the 2019 Annual Catalog.

Want to see some projects made with the products found in the Suite? I’ve got 7 great cards to share with you today. All with a different twist with this stamp set.

The Perennial Essence Vellum Cardstock (149101) used on these first projects is wonderful to work with.

And the Perennial Essence Floral Centers (149442) are not only self stick but have a wonderfully natural look to them. They are perfect to use on your Daisy Lane projects too!

Quick and easy this card uses the Story Label Punch (150076) to frame the sentiment.

And since the Floral Essence Stamp set is a has separate stamps for the flowers centers you can create all kinds of combinations.

Daisy Lane Watercolor Wash Tutorial

It’s that time again another #imbringingbirthdaysback card – and while this card is being posted a bit later than I would like, I really like the way it turned out.

What do you think? I CASED this card from our Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator magazine with a couple of small changes. I really love this resource that I receive because I’m a demonstrator, our magazine is filled with ideas, tips and a lot more! I really look forward to getting it quarterly in the mail.

Free as a Bird

Watching the birds at the feeder is one of my favorite pass times when I’m in the yard. I find it incredibly relaxing and we a have a great variety as the seasons change. So the Bird Ballard Suite of products caught my eye immediately since it is filled with wonderful images, textures and soft subtle colors.

And it has tons of coordinating products since it is part of the Bird Ballard Suite (152190) found on page 91 of the Annual Catalog.

Rustic Retreat

Do you like wildlife or images of nature? If so the Rustic Retreat stamp set found on page 49 of the 2019 Annual Catalog might be right up your alley. Filled with filled with wonderful images and great sentiments – there is even one for Christmas.

And what a great masculine set too.

Check out these wonderful cards made with the set. This first card is done in masculine colors Mossy Meadow and Basic Black – it also uses the Buffalo Check Back Ground Stamp (147797/151372) we all love .

And this next card has lots of texture since it uses the 5/8″ Burlap Ribbon (141487) and Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder (151811). This time Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Mossy Meadow were used to create a great natural feel.

The stamp set is great for just a stamped image or monochromatic cards due to the art work, but it is great for coloring too. Here are some more projects with the set.

Good Morning Magnolia

Today’s cards highlight one of our most popular Suites from the 2019 Annual Catalog – the Magnolia Lane Suite. This Suite is filled with wonderful options for creating projects. I think the large magnolia image used for these cards is just striking.

Team Craft Time & More

Tomorrow is my Team Craft Time, this is a monthly event where we gather and craft together – it is a free style event where anything goes and it’s a lot of fun. We simply bring what ever we are working on and enjoy each others company while crafting.

Want to see some of what my team has been working on? Here are some of the swaps from the July meeting earlier this month everyone shared.

These first two cards use the Mosaic Mood Specialty Designer Series Paper (149478) and the Memorable Mosaic Stamp Set (149226)

Don’t you love the new Timeless Label Punch (149516)? It not only coordinates with this stamp set, but it’s a great punch for all kinds of sentiments and comes in a Bundle too so you can save 10% when you purchase the stamp set and punch together!

And here is a lovely card made with the Magnolia Blooms stamp set (152729) found in our Experience Creativity brochure.

And here are two cards using the Butterfly Gala stamp set (148580) – LOL the swappers were surprised to see they were both inspired by the same project this month!

This first one is done in Grapefruit Grove

and this second one is done is 2018 In Color, Call Me Clover

And this final card is a Inside Block, fancy fold card using the Beauty Abounds stamp set (148726).

Such a fun card and we’ll be learning how Pat made this card during our August meeting – Sharing is the best!

A Good Man

Do you ever need a great masculine stamp set? The A Good Man stamp set found on page 147 of the 2019 Annual Catalog might be just the thing you are looking for since this set is filled with wonderful images and some all occasions sentiments.

Check out these wonderful cards made with this set that I’ve received in swaps.

I love the way this one uses our Garden Lane Designer Series Paper (149488) to direct it’s color pallet of shades of greens.

And how about this next one that was also done in shades of green – this time using the Mosaic Mood Specialty Designer Series Paper (149478) and the Stitched Nested Label Dies (149638)

And this next one done in our new In Color, Pretty Peacock along with Granite Gray?

And I love the way that this one teams up the Sailing Home Suite of Products (152175) with our Shimmery White Embossing Paste (145645) and Pattern Party Decorative Masks (144103) to create a feel of depth and texture.

How about another card with an beach feel to it? This time the set was teamed up with the ever popular Waterfront stamp set (146386).

And finally this last card done with simple color blocking and a bit of Whisper White Baker’s Twine (124262).
