My name is Jini Merck and I'm a Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrator. I love being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, not only do I get to be creative every day, I also get to be a creative coach, offering fresh project ideas and encouragement to my customers and friends. For me, helping someone create that perfect project for a special occasion is the best feeling in the entire world. After all, creating cards, scrapbook pages, and gift items is about more than just stamps and ink—it’s about sharing a part of yourself with the people in your life. I live in Clarkesville which is in the North Georgia Mountains with my husband and two children. Although my family keeps me busy I enjoy the creativity of stamping and crafts and the fellowship stamping brings into my life. Spending time creativing cards and gifts for friends and family has been one of my favorite hobbies over the years.

A Little Smile Thank You Note Card

The June Paper Pumpkin Kit included a great little beach themed set that has some wonderful sentiments and after putting the little cards together I’ve still got tons of pieces left to play with. And I’ve been doing just that. However, today’s card is one that I created using just the stamp set.

I made a bunch of these up to send out – they were quick and easy, and all I did was add a package of note cards and some Coastal Cabana and Crumb Cake card stock. Love that we can put the kit together and then use the ink and stamps to build our collection and supplies.

It Starts with Art Tutorial

Today’s card is one that I created to share along time ago but it got buried on my desk, ugh. But that means you’re in luck today since I’m sharing it today. LOL!

The card uses the Follow Your Art Suite of Products that can be found on page 53 of the Annual Catalog – this Suite is filled with wonderful products that speak to me since I’m a life long crafter of all kinds of crafts, starting as a child with learning how to embroider. Remember those iron on x patterns for our first samplers? I think my first project was a pillow case edge. How about you? What was your first project?

I love the fact that this Suite contains different kinds of crafting images and items – perfect for all kinds of crafters young and young at heart.

Any how here is my project that I created for my OnStage Team event back in April.

Woven Heirlooms

Do you love the feel of the well loved vintage items you grew up with? Check out these wonderful projects using this set. Done in our new 2019 – 2021 In Colors this first card uses Seaside Spray and Terracotta Tile.

Can you see the Terracotta Tile 1/2″ Scallop Linen Ribbon peaking out from behind the scallop circle? This ribbon is so much fun with the scallop edge and texture.

And this next card uses the Pretty Peacock and the yummy Sahara Sand 5/8″ Woven Threads Trim (149499)

And these next two use the coordinating Heirloom Frames Dies & 3D Embossing Folders (152325).

I wish you could see these in person the 3D embossing Folders and Dies are just wonderful and can be used for all kinds of projects.

Seaside Notions & More Summer Fun

Today’s card uses the new Seaside Notions stamp set (149278) that you can find in the 2019 Annual Catalog on page 139. I’m a sucker for anything that is beach or nautical themed stamps and this set didn’t disappoint with its fun sea horse and shells. Sea horses are such magical creates and have always fascinated me since I was a child.

So check out this fun card done in Seaside Spray and Crumb Cake

I love the simplicity of the design and great for someone new since the images are cut out. Can you see our new High Seas 3D Embossing Folder (149577) used as a back drop? Perfect to add a layer of texture to any set like this.

And this next card was created using the Sea of Textures stamp set (151267) and coordinating Under the Sea Dies (146334).

Want to see a little more under the sea? How about this wonderful card using the Magical Mermaid stamp set (151234)

Done in watercolor it would bring a smile to anyone’s face.

Over the Moon

Ahh…cows and dairy country, the ones with the black & white spots. I was born and raised in the Wisconsin country side and these cows are a part of my childhood. Being raised in the dairy state meant drinking at least 3 full glasses of milk a day – and ahhh the cheese! I miss the farmer’s brick cheese that my grandmother use to get with it’s mild flavor and oh what fantastic grilled cheese sandwiches it made with it’s stringy goodness! I just haven’t had any luck finding something comparable here in Georgia where I live and our cows are brown or black, a shock the first time I learned they were dairy cows since I thought all cows looked our Holsteins. LOL

Anyhow, when I saw this stamp set in the 2019 Annual Catalog I knew it would be one on my shopping list for sure, and after seeing the great cards folks are making with I’m even more excited about the set! After all who can resist these little cows and their adorable faces?

And animals cards are typically great for all ages – The sentiments in this make it super for all kinds of occasions.

Check out these fun cards I received in my swap using this set

This first one is done in a classic color combination of red and black. Can you guess where the spots come from that were used for the back ground? They are are from the Love What You Do stamp set (147042). Isn’t it great the way we can use our Stampin’ Up! products together?

And this next one done in Pretty Peacock is teamed up with the Heirloom Frames Dies & 3d Embossing Folders (152325) along with our new Medium Daisy Punch (149517).

And here is one done in Daffodil Delight – I love the way the Pinewood 3D Embossing Folder (152320 available again soon) has been used to create the barn yard feel.

And my final card uses the bright and cheerful color combo of Pool Party & Calypso Coral.

The little flowers in the background come from the Colorful Seasons stamp set (143726) – so clever!

Same set – so many choices! It’s part of what I love about stamping – we start with the same stamp set and can create totally different looks just with our choice of color. How about you what is one of your favorite things about stamping? Why not take a few minutes and leave me a comment?

Dandelion Wishes

This set is one of my favorite returning sets in the 2019 Annual Catalog and if you haven’t seen it you’ll want to check it out.

The set has some simple images, and the sentiments use a beautiful font and are a great size for cards.

Check out these beautiful cards from my recent organized swap that I did last month. This first card uses a bright bold wash of color behind the heat embossed image.

And the Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon (146912) has been dyed Granny Apple Green to coordinate with the sentiment.

And this next card us done in our NEW In Color Seaside Spray –

Soft and sweet for a completely different feel. And I love that the 2019-2021 In Color family has these coordinating 2019-2021 In Color Faceted Dots (149607) and 1/2″ Scalloped Linen Ribbon (149707) in addition to the Color Family 6×6 Designer Series Paper Stack (149617). These products are great for creating monochromatic cards such as this one and this next card too.

This card is done in another of the In Colors – this time Pretty Peacock

And this final card uses the Garden Lane Designer Series Paper (149488)

and Mossy Meadow Linen Thread from the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack (149485).
