My name is Jini Merck and I'm a Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrator. I love being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, not only do I get to be creative every day, I also get to be a creative coach, offering fresh project ideas and encouragement to my customers and friends. For me, helping someone create that perfect project for a special occasion is the best feeling in the entire world. After all, creating cards, scrapbook pages, and gift items is about more than just stamps and ink—it’s about sharing a part of yourself with the people in your life. I live in Clarkesville which is in the North Georgia Mountains with my husband and two children. Although my family keeps me busy I enjoy the creativity of stamping and crafts and the fellowship stamping brings into my life. Spending time creativing cards and gifts for friends and family has been one of my favorite hobbies over the years.

Rooted in Nature Tutorial

Today’s card uses one of my favorite suites from the 2018 Annual Catalog, Rooted in Nature. I think it is great for year round use since its got some wonderful images and sentiments and super for guy cards too.

This suite is filled with wonderful products and includes lots of coordinating accessories. So today I thought I would share with you a card that we stamped at OnStage using this suite.

#imbringingbirthdaysback – Garden Impressions Birthday Card Tutorial

Have you seen the Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper yet it’s part of our July Buy 3 Get 1 Free Promotion? If you haven’t you’ll want to check it out since it is packed full of patterns that are great for making lots of cards since it comes in a 6×6 stack.

If your birthday is in July your card is already in the mail with a little special something just for you. But if not I thought I’d share this quick and simple card that highlights our Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper.

For this month’s cards I’ve used different patterns with the same colors and basic layout. I chose the So Saffron and Shaded Spruce since these two colors were prominent a lot of the papers so they were easy to make multiples.

It made this paper a natural choice when I needed to make lots of birthday cards for my #imbringingbackbirthdaysback. Here is what I came up with – multiple patterns with the same basic layout – which I just love since they look different enough I could send them to family too.

Team Time Sharing

I love getting together with my team monthly at our meetings. I have such a great group and I look forward to seeing what they are creating each month. Today’s projects were all created by them – so why not take a few minutes and check them out?

I’m going to start with this first card that is perfect for this month – since it is done in red, white and blue

This card was made using the Dandelion Wishes stamp set (146744/146747), Celebrate You Thinlits Dies (146840) and our yummy Night of Navy Gingham Ribbon (144232)

Here is a fun pocket card using the Love What You Share Specialty Designer Series Paper (146926) and the coordinating stamp set, Love What You Do (148042)

And finally some fun 3d items for you

This cute little box was made with our Envelope Punch Board (133774) and the Make a Difference stamp set (146676). I love this fun polka dot pattern in the Love What You Share Specialty Designer Series Paper. It’s perfect for this project!

And how about this little box wrapped up with the yummy Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack (146329)?

And finally this cute little treat bag using the Treat Time Stamp Set (146623/146626) and our NEW Silver & Pool Party Baker’s Twine (147015).

Sitting Pretty

Have you seen the Sitting Pretty bundle found in the Annual Catalog? This set is really cool since it has all kinds of pieces and the little dog is hard to resist, especially if you are a UGA fan. LOL!

Check out these lovely cards using this set

This first card creates a wonderful background simply by using our Pattern Party Decorative Masks (144103) and sponging. The heat embossed gold bench (109129) and Gold Metallic Edge Ribbon (144146) gives it a touch of elegance.

And this card uses embossing to add a bit of wow factor

Can you see the texture on the rock floor? This floor was created with one of our new Pretty Park Framelits dies and our Big Shot Embossing Mats pads found on page 221 of the 2018 Annual Catalog.

The Painted Glass stamp set (147458/147461) is part of the Graceful Glass Suite – this suite has a special Designer Vellum that works perfectly with our Stampin’ Blends and makes cards quick and easy to create since you can cut the 6×6 sheet down into sections.
