My name is Jini Merck and I'm a Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrator. I love being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, not only do I get to be creative every day, I also get to be a creative coach, offering fresh project ideas and encouragement to my customers and friends. For me, helping someone create that perfect project for a special occasion is the best feeling in the entire world. After all, creating cards, scrapbook pages, and gift items is about more than just stamps and ink—it’s about sharing a part of yourself with the people in your life. I live in Clarkesville which is in the North Georgia Mountains with my husband and two children. Although my family keeps me busy I enjoy the creativity of stamping and crafts and the fellowship stamping brings into my life. Spending time creativing cards and gifts for friends and family has been one of my favorite hobbies over the years.

Sew You

Have you seen the great little projects found in this month’s Sew You kit? I was really excited when I received my kit – and what a great way to teach basic sewing to a young person. And even I can see these holes! So sewing is a breeze.

Easter Chick Triangle Box

Can you believe Easter is in less than two weeks away? Where has March gone to? And I just realized I had not shared this cute little Easter treat with you like I thought I had.

Cute huh? This is a basic triangle box and they are so easy to make. I’m so glad that Terri shared this cute little guy during our shoebox swap at the retreat. I think this little chick would bring a smile to anyone’s face. How about you?

I’ve created a how to video for the Triangle Box HERE. So you’ll want to check it out. And to make this cute little guy you’ll simply start with a piece of card stock that is 5″ x 2 1/2″. (You can adjust the measurements easily once you watch the video.)

Soft & Sweet Sweetbriar Rose

The other day I showed you a card that I created and colored with the Stampin’ Blendabilities (you can see it here). Today’s card has a much softer feel to it since I used my Classic Ink Pads and Blender Pen to color the image this time.

I’ve stamped the image in StazOn since I planned on coloring it and it won’t run or smear. Water coloring with our Classic Ink is easy, I simply squeezed my ink pad while it was closed to get some of the ink from the pad onto the cover. I could then pick up that ink using my Blender Pen and voila!
