Soft & Lovely Natural Botanicals

Today’s cards are monochromatic cards using the Natural Botanicals stamp set (164831) and our Cloud Cover 2025-2027 In Color.

This first card uses our Glass & Gardens Embossing Folder (Online Exclusives 165597) and 2025-2027 In Color Designer Series Paper (165299) to create a background full of texture.

The Designer Series Paper was first attached to the Basic White Card stock and then run the the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss to give a “quilting” effect. The Textured Notes Dies (Online Exclusive 165555) have been used to cut out and layer the image. And a few of our 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls (165192) and you have a simply elegant card.

This next card uses the technique again with the Dotted Circles 3D Embossing Folder (163789) this time with Basic Beige Card stock. It also uses the same Dies to cut out the image along with the embellishments but has a very different feel to.

The image has been stamped using Versa Mark for a tone on tone look and Antique Pearls (164679) have been added to the panel.

Can you pick a favorite? Which color combo do you like the most? Why not leave me a comment and let me know?

The Natural Botanicals stamp set is a special Reversibles stamp that allows you to use both sides of the stamp for two step stamping. While these two cards do not use the solid image or two step with it the Reversibles stamp gives you double the images to give you greater versatility for your projects. You’ll see our special sets that have this option shown with both the front and back side highlighted in the image.

Sunrise Sailing

The summer makes me think of time at the lake as a child. Watching the boats go by and the waves come in. I miss Lake Michigan and the easy drive to beach and the feel of driving down Lake Shore Drive as a teenager with friends in a convertible and the wind blowing my hair. Or the fireworks on the 4th with all those boats out on the water under the bursts of color. So today’s Sunrise Sailing Bundle (Online Exclusive 165497) cards make me think of those carefree days of my youth and those wonderfully elegant boats out on the water.

This Bundle has a wonderful Hybrid Embossing Folder that allows you to add some wonderful texture to images and dies. Check out these two cards made with this bundle.

This first card uses some simple stamping and a bit of color brushed across the embossed image to create a relaxing monochromatic card.

And this next card uses a fun fold called Book Binding. With a simple score line and a bit of adhesive you create this fun card.

Done in Secret Sea, Misty Moonlight and Poppy Parade it has the perfect summertime feel, don’t you think?

If you enjoy the water as much as I do this Bundle might be just your style. Why not stop by my Online Store and check it out today?

Today’s the Last Day of our Two Tone Card Stock Sale!!!

Happy Hibiscus

I’ve just returned from a wonderful tropical vacation where these lovely flowers are the Hawaiian state flower, specifically the yellow Hibiscus. The Happy Hibiscus Bundle (Online Exclusive 164880) is a bundle that shows off these lovely large blooms.

This bundle includes all kinds of goodies, not only the stamp set but a wonderful Hybrid Embossing Folder and Dies that will make these flowers have tons of texture and depth.

Today’s cards show off this lovely bundle. This first card is done in our Strawberry Slush and uses the card stock and simple stamping to do the work for you. A bit of the Shy Shamrock Baker’s Twine gives a fun pop of color behind them.

And on this second card the warm colors Lemon Lolly, Calypso Coral, and Poppy Parade give it a warm tropical feel.

The stamp set has some lovely all occasion sentiments that I think you’ll enjoy.

On a personal note and speaking of tropical – my husband and I were blessed with being able to join Kaitlin, our daughter and her husband Jon along with his parents for their North Georgia Winds performance at Pearl Harbor last month for a wreath laying ceremony.

Our daughter had the honor of conducting a piece, the Elegy for the USS Arizona.

And the vets in our group, which included my husband and our Kaitlin’s Father in Law were also part of the ceremony.

That’s my Larry on the left. After we released our leis over the memorial for the Arizona honoring the fallen.

It was a very poignant experience. We were glad that we were able to be part of the day.

Awesome Trusty Tools

The Trust Tools Stamp Set (163274) and Dies (162722) is a fun one for my family, we’ve been doing home improvements for as long as I can remember.

And our children joined us in projects from a young age learning as we did. So this stamp set was one that I know I would use over and over again.

Today’s card is one I thought was great as soon as I saw it and I could see myself CASING.

The background stamped using the Painted Stripes stamp (Online Exclusive 165437) uses our rich Secret Sea, an 2025-2027 In Color . The little paint brush has been colored with our Blender Pens (102845) and Classic Ink Pads. This way of adding color has added depth and shade variances to the image. The piece of Basic Beige 3/8″ Classic Ribbon (165216) adds a fun bit of texture to the project.

What do you think? Do you like this card as much as I do? If you are a DYI person I think you’ll enjoy this stamp set and dies too.

Along the Lines meets Layered Thoughts

Its summer and that means the bikes are out. Here in Clarkesville we actually had thousands of bicycles that will be staying during their overnight stop during the Bicycle Ride Across Georgia.

So today’s card is for the bicycle lover.

The card uses two of our stand alone stamp sets from the 2025 Annual Catalog, our Along These Lines stamp set (165352) and Layered Thoughts Stamp set (165346).

An image set like this is always a great choice and allows you to team it up with the sentiments you choose.

Today’s card uses two of our fun In Colors, Shy Shamrock and Strawberry Slush and the background uses the Joined together 3D Embossing Folder (165170) which create a great backdrop with lots of texture. A bit of ink used on our Blending Brushes (160518/153611) was used to add color to the hill.

The bicycle tire pulls in the sentiment color with it’s pop of color that comes from our 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls (165192).

The Life is an adventure sentiment fits perfectly for this project and comes from the Playground of Life stamp set (165328).

If this line art style of imagery appeals to you, why not check out this and other stamp sets you can find in the Online Store. All of them can also be found in the 2025 Annual Catalog.

Silly Safari Go Wild Card Tutorial

My daughter loves the zoo and always has. When traveling she tries to visit the local zoo or one on the way to her destination. So when I saw the Silly Safari Bundle (165260) in the 2025 Annual Catalog I just knew it was one I had to have!

So for today’s card I’ve used one of my Card Sketches and the sweet little leopard image.

I’ve used my Stampin’ Blends to color him so that I’ve got a bold cheerful look as I teamed up the image with one of the NEW patterns found in the Brights Designer Series Paper Assortment (165301).

Here is a quick video tutorial showing how I created this card along with the PDF which contains a complete supply list, link, measurements and more.

And as I mentioned I’ve used a Card Sketch for this project. I’ve been giving you a PDF so you can create one too and use it as a design tool too.

Put it on a ring or place it in my little crate that I shared with you HERE the choice is yours!

And when you create the different Card Sketches you’ll also be using color combinations to inspire you! How fun is that?

Monochromatic Sweet Blooms

Today’s card is a monochromatic card using one of our new 2057-2027 In Colors, Secret Sea. This color in a deep, deep blue and a wonderful addition to our colors. I just love using it as a neutral on the things I’ve been creating.

This card uses the Sweet Blooms Dies (165186) and the sentiments to build it’s focal point. The Secret Sea Card stock panels have been dry embossed with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder (163414) for some added texture and a piece of white twine from the Baker’s Twine Essential Pack (155475) is wrapped around a couple of those panels and tied into a knot.

And of course for a bit of shine the 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls (165192) have been tucked into the left hand corner. You’re going to LOVE these two options for Flat Pearls with their iridescent sheen in all 10 In Colors.

Monochromatic cards are a great way to get started stamping. It’s how I started building my color collection when I first started stamping. I’d picked a favorite color, such as Secret Sea, and then each month purchased the ink pad, card stock pack, and one two accessories to go with it. It’s an easy way to get started creating.

And did you know that today’s Sweet Blooms Bundle (165186) is part of a Suite of products? The Florals in Bloom Suite (165193) can be found on page 40 – 47 of the Annual Catalog and also has Memory Keeping options that coordinate with it too.

Do you want it all? During June when you purchase a suite or products from a suite you’ll be able to take advantage of the BOGO 50% offer. So why not check out this Suite and others in my Online Store?

Kintsugi Inspirations

Our Kintsugi Inspirations Suite (165172) is something a little bit different with it’s lovely images and all occasions sentiments.

The Suite not only includes a lovely bundle of stamps and dies, it has some gorgeous gold foiling in the Kintsugi Inspirations Designer Series Paper (165159) and lots of texture found in the Joined together 3D Embossing Folder (165170) and Flower Accents (165171).

Today’s card use these products to create a lovely card with pops of gold foiling.

The small vase was heat embossed using the Metallic Wow! Embossing Powders (165678) to repeat the gold theme. The Fancy Borders Dies (Online Exclusive 165380) create the shelf it sits on. And the thin rectangle outline was cleverly created with a gold foil panel that was cut slightly larger than the die used, the inside then being removed with the Textured Notes Dies (Online Exclusive 165555) leaving this thin outline. This piece would normally be waste, but also creates a lovely open rectangle.

So many options with this stamp set and dies. I see branches rather than imperfections/cracks that can be used to create lovely flowering trees branches. And check out the Designer Series Paper, You can cut beautiful vases rather than stamping if you prefer!
