Check out this fun card using the Amazing Birthday stamp set found on the Weekly Deals list this week. It’s a great set and for this card it’s been teamed up with our bright and cheerful Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper.

Olivia added a bit of shine to this card with our Silver Glimmer Paper too. It’s bright colors just make me smile.

And since it is still raining here a pop of color is welcome in all the flash flooding dreariness.

It’s a Joyful Season

Merry Christmas to you from our family to yours! I hope that you are having a safe, warm, peaceful holiday season with your family and friends.

My husband Larry is on call this weekend but we are enjoying quiet time together today as a family in between calls while he is home. As you know we’ve have two young adults who have busy lives too, so this time together is especially sweet.

Here is our annual family photo.

I am so thankful to have everyone together for Christmas.

Wonderland

Today and tomorrow I thought I would share with you the cards I sent out personally for those on my Christmas card list. Today’s card uses the Wonderland stamp set (139752) and includes these beautiful trees.

I wanted a soft feel of a cold winters night for this card So I chose to use the Bokeh Technique.What do you think? Do the Soft Sky and Wisteria Wonder capture that feel?

I was sad to see that it was on our Retirement List (Click HERE to see the full list from the Holiday Catalog), since it’s part of a suite that includes some wonderful coordinating accessories. I love coordinating products since it makes our time designing much easier.

Rudolph Gift Card Holder

Oh, what fun this little Rudolph gift card holder was to make – and it’s pretty quick and easy too!

The base is 4 1/4″ x 7 3/4″. I scored it at 5 1/2″. Decorate the flap and add a coordinating panel that is 4″ x 5 1/4″ to hold your gift card and sentiment.

You could even add a Whisper White piece to sign your name on the underside of the flap if you desire. I added my gift card using a piece of our Tear & Tape. Voila!

What did I tell you quick and easy, right? And I love this little Rudolph image you can create with the Wonderland antler image!

Gift cards are always something we need to package especially during the holidays. So here is a quick and easy way to do that!

Just grab your Envelope Liner Framelits Dies (132172) and your package of Merry Moments Designer Series Paper. You can make 24 of these from just one package of 12 x 12 paper – and who doesn’t love that?

Create a fun card to tuck into the pocket add a little piece of Tear & Tape adhesive to attach your gift card and your ready to put a smile on someones face.

Snow Place fun

For those of you who know me you know that the stamp set Snow Place (139738) was a must have with its cute little penguin. And the fact it comes in a money saving Bundle (140844) that includes the Snow Friends Framelit Dies (139664) never hurts!

Of course, I see this set as a winter set, or even year round since it has a penguin in it! Can’t you see this fun little guy with a laying out on a beach towel, playing basket ball or even wearing a hula skirt made of ribbon? I wiped up three the other day quickly want to see?

This first card is the traditional Christmas card. I couldn’t decide on which base color I liked the best so I tried them both!

And this second card is pretty much the same, but I made them for my birthdays that I need the next few weeks. The sentiment from our new Suite Sayings stamp set (140709) found in our NEW Occasions Catalog works perfectly with this fun sentiment from the set!

And my last creation is for a old High School friend, who is Jewish. I always send my Christmas letter in a winter themed card for her and thought she’d enjoy this fun quickly set of penguins. And I used the Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder since I wanted a more bold design for the back ground.

I love the sentiment I used on the inside – and simply hand wrote a little something to finish it off the way I wanted with my Melon Mambo Stampin’ Write Marker. Don’t you like that we have matching markers option all our color families?

Dove of Peace & More

You know how it goes I had planned on starting my Christmas baking yesterday, however the weather didn’t consult me. We had a bad rain storm blow through mid morning that took out our power for a couple of hours and then problems with the internet. So I didn’t get to post yesterday.

But your in luck today things are humming along just fine – so I thought I’d share the card I had planned on showing you yesterday along with some additional one too.

I created this card using the Dove of Peace (139800) single stamp. I loved the design immediately when I saw it and knew it would look lovely teamed up with our Night of Navy and done in our Gold Embossing Powder.

Great minds think alike, right? This next card was one I stamped at a recent team Shoebox Swap – My friend Teresa used some of the same supplies, but I think this card has a totally different feel to it. Isn’t that a wonderful part of stamping – the way things can be changed up so easily simply with the choices we make?

This next card was Maria’s Shoebox swap.

I love the way the Delicate Ornament Thinlits Die (139667) was used to make the ornament swing in the opening.

And how about this card that was made with the Reason for the Season stamp set (139730) and Softly Falling Embossing Folder (139672).

Marni used the Sparkly Seasons Bundle (140863) when she designed this card. Who doesn’t like snow globe and the childhood memories they evoke?

And this next card is particularly fun with it’s belly band.

It uses Peaceful Pines Bundle (140850) along with the Festive Fireplace (139754) and Versatile Christmas stamp sets (140389/140392).

Snowplace Winter Fun

Today I’ll be sharing some more swaps that were made with one of my favorite bundles from the holiday catalog, Snowplace (139664). This stamp set has a fun chubby little penguin in it – and those of you who know me know I can’t resist a penguin!

When you combine the Snowplace stamp set (139738) with the Snow Friends Framelit Dies (139664) your options are unlimited!

I’m already envisioning winter birthday cards made with this stamp set. The fun Snow Way! sentiment will work great with some of our other sentiments to create a fun birthday greeting.

And these two cards are simply elegant – but then Silhouettes such as found in the Every Blessing (138806/139919) gives you that classic feel.

And here is another set, All Ye Faithful stamp set (1396898/139901) combined with the rich colors and classic patterns in the Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper (139592).

It’s a Festival of Trees!

Today’s cards all have something in common – trees! After all who doesn’t love all the shapes, and sizes they come in this time of year?

Melanie used the F estival of Trees stamp set (135059) and the 2015-2017 In Colors to create this card, Mint Macaron and Tip Top Taupe.

Did you know that the Mint Macaron Classic Ink Pad (138326) is part of the Weekly Deals? So not only can you get this lovely soft color but you can get it at a great deal! You’ll want to check out the coordinating 1″ Dotted Trim too (138424) that was used on this card it ties lovely.

These next three cards all have the Tree Punch (135859) in common along with either the Merry Moments Designer Series Paper (138450) or the 6×6 stack option (139595) found in the Holiday Catalog. Isn’t it great that Stampin’ Up! give us two choices depending on how we like to craft?

Christmas Cuties & More

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! And you can send out these wonderful little images with some great sentiments. Check out this winter card done in Soft Sky.

Irene used used the Christmas Cuties (139784/139787) and for a quick background the Watercolor Wash (138704/139658). And can you see texture from the Softly Falling Embossing Folder (139672) and Dazzling Details (124117)? I love this stuff since it adds some sparkle that stays put! LOL It’s a great choice if you don’t like wearing glitter!

This next card was given to me by Joann and uses our Reason for the Season stamp set (139730).

A great two step stamping set.

And this last card was created with the Peaceful Wreath stamp set (139794) and the Christmas Greetings Thinlit Dies (139659).

I love the pop of shimmer Jan chose shen she used the Red Glimmer Paper (121790) to cut out the word merry with. And of course the 1/8″ Silver Ribbon (132137) too. A very simple and elegant card with lots of texture!
