Meant to Be

It’s a week of swaps and I’ve received some fabulous ones that I want to share with you this week. So come back often!

Today I’m highlighting Our Meant to Be stamp set and coordinating Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies. Perfect for Valentine’s Day next month. Check out these wonderful cards using products from the All My Love Suite found on pages 4 – 6 of the 2019 Occasions Catalog.

I really like the sentiments in this set since it includes a great variety like this one we can use to send our friends.

And of course there is the traditional valentine option.

And how about this lovely one that uses the Lace Dynamic Embossing Folder (148530). It is simply beautiful in person with it’s rich deep embossed image.

Bloom by Bloom Calendar Card

I had some more calendars that I wanted to use so I made this bright and cheerful Bloom by Bloom Calendar Card to send out. I know it’s almost the end of January but I think they will still bring a smile to the recipients face.

I’ve created a PDF Tutorial for this card and if you would like to see my earlier video tutorial that I shared with you showing you how I made these calendar bases for my Forever Lovely Calendar Card CLICK HERE.

Just a note: the video has been notated that I said the wrong measurement for the base on the video, but please know that the PDF is correct. Sometimes my mouth gets ahead of my brain. Ever have that happen? lol. But know that you start with a standard card base that is 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″.

Whew it is mid January already and I’m a bit late on sending out my January birthday cards – but better later than never right? Today’s card is made with the adorable cupcake set that you can earn for FREE during Sale-a-bration.

This set was one of the first ones I wanted since I could see all kinds of easy projects due to it’s bold images. And of course cupcakes are so popular right now for all kinds of events.

And I love the font used for the sentiments too – fun and swirly!

Here is the card I designed using the set for this month’s birthday cards.

Done in Highland Heather it uses the fun Bokeh Dots Stamp set to add the sparkles to the celebration.

Team Winter Weekend Retreat Swaps

This past weekend I had the privilege of gathering with my team for our 7th Annual Winter Weekend Retreat – A full 3 days of fellowship, fun and of course stamping.

I love these weekends since it’s a chance for everyone to let their hair down and relax during this extended period of time together. We share, learn, and get to know each other a bit better. It’s like a big slumber party with your best friends –

On Saturday afternoon we hold our Shoe box Swap and I always love to see what everyone comes up with. So today I thought I’d share some of the cards with you that my team members did.

These first two cards use the Classic Garage Suite of products found on page 42-43 of the Occasions Catalog.

I just love this suite of products and the Geared Up Garage Bundle (148590) with it’s coordinating dies. Perfect for creating card for the dudes in our lives. After all does anyone know a guy who doesn’t like cars?

And this next card uses the Beauty Abounds Bundle (150617). If you love this bundle as much as I do why not sign up for my February Class? If you haven’t seen this Specialty Designer Series Paper yet in person – it is absolutely gorgeous! The Floral Romance pack includes two different Vellum patterns along with 2 double sided patterns. So it’s a great value since you’ll get multiples of each.

And how about this card made with the Sheltering Tree stamp set (137163) found in the Annual Catalog on page 140? We used this simple technique of stamping twice. Once onto the card front and again onto to the circles to add a pop of color.


And here is a fun technique card Daisy Delight stamp set (143669) and Daisy Punch (143713) from the Annual Catalog.

Do you recognize the sentiment? It’s from the Butterfly Gala stamp set (148580). And the All My Love Designer Series Paper (148576) both can be found in the Occasions Catalog.

Watch some tutorials coming soon for these fancy folds – I hope to work on them in the next week or so.

Forever Lovely Calendar Card

I created today’s projects for my January Thank You Cards. They are a bit different from what I usually do since they contain a little calendar but I really like the way they turned out and hope everyone who receives them will enjoy them.


They are so easy to make and even better they fold flat for mailing.

Incredible Like You

Today’s card is another one that everyone was able to do at my Catalog Kick Off. It uses the Incredible Like You Stamp set found on page 21 of the Occasions Catalog. This set is great for all kinds of stampers since it also has a coordinating project kit (148552) – so whether you want to create or have everything ready to stamp this set is a winner.

The set contains both images and all occasions sentiments and it packs a wow with it’s 2 step stamping. Its cool the way that the stamp set’s images give you two tones automatically without stamping off first. Whether you use it with your Stamparatus or on its own its easy to use too!

The Forever Lovely stamp set is part of our All My Love Suite of products found on pages 4 – 5 of the Occasions Catalog. It’s filled with lovely images and sentiments using beautiful fonts. And it has a really cool effect since it creates its own watercolor like effect when you stamp.
