Today I’m going to share another fun project that we got to do during the After Hours event in Houston for one of our Make n Takes.
This card uses a fun water color technique using our NEW color Basic Beige. Stamping the image using the Basic Beige allows the water coloring to look almost line free but still gives subtle detail. A pretty fun process I thought.
I’ve whipped up a video tutorial for you so you can make one too.

And I’ve got another fun sketch for you done in the new In Colors that you can add to your Sketch ring too.

This set has some lovely images and all occasions sentiments and a versatile set of dies that coordinate with it.
We made this card during our After Hours event in Houston and Stampin’ Up! gave us a sketch that I’ve changed up a little bit and made my own for my Sketch Tool Ring I shared with you earlier. Make sure to scroll down since I’ll share it with you today too.
This will be the first of the 3 cards we made during the After Hours Event. But today here is the card we made using 2 of our NEW In Colors Summer Splash and Shy Shamrock. While they might look similar when apart, you can definitely tell the difference when layered together. I fell in love with the Summer Splash as soon as I saw it and wasn’t real sure about the Shy Shamrock, but am finding I really like using it in my stamping too.
Here is a quick video on how I put this make n take together for you along with the PDF with the supply list, measurements, and step by step instructions.
Did you know my Card Sketches use different color combinations that can inspire you when you are stamping projects? Create them and add the colors to the back if you’d like and you’ll have color combinations and color swatches too of our card stock to create with!
On a personal note:
You may have noticed I didn’t post every day this week. I had some unexpected appointments that took a lot of time, so I wasn’t able to share like I wanted to. I’ll be having a procedure done next week, and may not be sharing quite as much as I normally do, but I have some things set up that I think you’ll enjoy.
Of course, I’m happy to help and I will be available, but might not be able to respond as quickly as normal.

It’s another full week of video tutorials! And since spring is in the air and that means spring break for many of us and warmer weather, which of course makes me think of the pool or ocean time I hope to get. On one of our last family vacation we continued to hunt for sea turtles that were suppose to dot the beach. Turtles of all kinds have been a favorite of mine since I had that small palm tree in my pets plastic dish. Remember those? Or am I dating myself? Any how when I saw the Sea Turtle stamp set it made me think of those trips looking for sea turtles and the excitement of when we found them.
So today I’m going to share a card using the Sea Turtles stamp set (160500) with you and another sketch. This sketch happens to be a favorite of mine that I’ve used over and over again. Not only do I have a sketch to share with you but I also have a video and PDF tutorial for you too. So why not take a look?
Cute, right?
Today’s sketch is #8 of my sketches and if you’d like to make one too you so you have this handy tool to design with you can check out the PDF below.
Here is my video tutorial for you and my PDF with the complete supply list along with measurements and You Tube link. Print it out and you’ll have everything in one place to create when you’re ready.

A good morning always starts with a cup of coffee and so when I saw the Latte Love Suite (Online Exclusive 163466) I knew it was one that I would enjoy creating with.
The Suite is filled with wonderful coffee feeling colors and images. And the fun set of dies not only cut out stamped images but also images from the A Little Latte Designer Series Paper (Online Exclusive 163453). And of course don’t forget if something in the suite is on backorder and it isn’t available right now, you can still get the other items and get the 10% discount on the Bundle.
Today’s card uses the same Sketch that I shared with you yesterday for the Cutest Cow Tutorial
and while it uses the same Sketch you can see just how different it looks.
So what do you think? Can you see the possibilities of using my Sketches as a tool for creating your cards? Why not leave me a comment and let me know what you think?
Enjoy!

My card today also uses a sketch. You might be wondering what a sketch is. If you haven’t seen sketches yet, they are a basic design or layout for a card and you’ll be seeing some in our NEW 2024 Annual Catalog on page 22 and throughout the catalog.
Today’s sketch is a quick and easy one that uses punches, but the basic layout is versatile enough that you could swap out the punch for a die, etc – the options are endless with sketches. The sketch is simply to inspire you!
I’ve been sharing these with my Team and thought you’d enjoy them too so I’ll be sharing my sketches with you periodically and will include a PDF with the measurements so that you can create your own sketch to use as a tool. This PDF will allow you to create the sketch, full size, using card stock as a reference tool. You can put in in a “recipe” box or punch a hole in the corner and put them on a ring so you can flip through them. Or if you prefer print the PDF for a note book. The choice is yours! So why not try my sketch out today?
