Birthday Delivery

The Birthday Memories Suite of products is really quite cool. Not only does it include as great bundle of stamps and Framelits Dies, Honeycomb Balloon Embellishments, ribbon and Designer Series Paper, but the Framelits cut out images from the Designer Series Paper! Like I said cool right?

I shared this card back in April with you (HERE) after attending our On Stage event in Savannah where we not only cut out the image but stamped the sentiment – The Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper is sized perfectly to work with the stamps too!

I’ve given you the complete supply list for this card below. If you love these coordinating products you’ll love the fact that Stampin’ Up! has given us a bundle of products that contains not only the stamps and Framelits dies, but also the Designer Series paper. Whoo hoo! Save 10% on all 3 items when you purchase the Birthday Delivery Bundle (145294)!

Now would you like to see some more cards made with this fun product suite that I received in my recent swap? While they all use the same products they have such different looks and feels to them.

And this fun fancy fold card – bright, bold and colorful.

And how about this sweet little girl gate fold card done in Powder Pink?

And here is a joy fold card using the cake image that has been cut out with the Framelits Dies.

So Many Shells Tutorial

Today’s card is one that I made for my team Shoe box Swap this past Saturday. The So Many Shells was a stamp set I couldn’t pass up with it’s wonderful shell images. You know me I can never resist a set that is beach themed!

The sentiments in the set also cover a wide variety of needs which is always a bonus. Isn’t the font lovely?

So here is the card I created.

I stamped the Marbled Background onto Vellum to give it more of a translucent water feel to it. And I love the Copper Trim! Tug and pull and it turns into what looks like a net! Perfect for this project.

I hope you’ll enjoy making this card too. Here is my FREE Tutorial for the card.

Shoe box fun at the Blue Mountain Stampers’ Weekend Retreat

This past weekend was my 5th Annual Weekend Retreat – (wow it’s so hard to believe we’ve been doing this that long already!) This event is held each June so that we can gather and have fun playing with our new catalog goodies. It’s a laid back, full of stamping and laughter – just a great weekend of sharing and fellowship. I feel really blessed to have such a wonderful team.

There were a total of 8 of us this time and we had a lot of fun with a project Cindy has been wanting to try – Shrinky Dinks!

Several of the group had never played with Shrinky Dinks before, so you know what that means! Who doesn’t love watching them watch them curl up and shrink?

We also did a shoe box swap on Saturday, so I thought I would share the cards everyone made for it.

This first card is made with Pocket Full of Sunshine (143719) and the Pocket Framelits Dies (143750) that you can get in a bundle allowing you to save 10% (145345). I think it is a very fun set, perfect for those younger folks in our life.

And this next card uses the Daisy Delight stamp set (143669), Daisy Punch (143713) and the Wood Words stamp set (143925/143928). Can you guess where the scallop comes from?

It’s the Seasonal Layers Framelits Dies (143751).

The Oh So Eclectic Stamp Set (143937/143940) was used to create this lovely Powder Pink card.

And how about this great card made with the Daisy Delight Bundle (145361) and the sentiment from Swan Lake (142974/142977).

And the final card today, is a wonderful Masculine card made in rich bold colors using the Happy Birthday Thinlits Dies (143700). You are going to love the NEW 5/8″ Crinkled Seam Binding (144189) and

Pinewood Planks 3d Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (143708) since it creates a wonderfully deep, dimensional images!!!

Stop back by tomorrow when I’ll be sharing my shoe box and a FREE tutorial so you can make one too.

I love getting together with my team – we have a great time together sharing, laughing and stamping. What could be better right? So today I thought I would share some of the wonderful swaps that have been shared form the last couple of meetings. (Yes, I know I’m behind. lol)

This first card Cindy gave me and it uses the Super Duper stamp set (142871/142874).

And how about this soft card using the Weather Together stamp set (141543) and Umbrella Weather Framelits Dies (141479)?

Thoughts and Prayers (128751/127805) is a great set for those hard to make cards

Stamp, some simple sponging and you have a wonderful card to share.

Deborah chose the Daisy Delight stamp set (143669) and coordinating Daisy Punch (143713) to go with the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set (143662).

Can you see the Clear Faceted Gem (144142)? Deborah used a sharpie  to color it – so clever!

And here is card made with the Eastern Beauty stamp set (143675) and coordinating dies, Eastern Medallions (143725) that are available in a money saving bundle (145308).

I just love the fact you can make soooo many shapes with these Thinlits dies!

I just love this NEW Crafting Forever stamp set (143955/143958) and couldn’t resist using it for the Catalog Kick Off. The sayings are fun and the images are great for those of us who love crafting.

I couldn’t decide which sentiment to use – so I chose to make some of each.
