Saying goodbye to All the Good Things

Today’s card uses one of the Last Chance stamp sets – All The Good Things (146555/146558) and it’s filled with wonderful images and sentiments.

Available in wood or clear mount it is a great addition to your collection. Check out this lovely card done in Night of Navy and silver.

I love the striking simplicity of this card. The image has been stamped in Night of Navy Classic Ink and layered onto a Night of Navy layer. Next comes a layer of Silver Foil (132178) that has been embossed with the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder (143704).

And here is another that I made during a shoe box swap – I love the Marbled Background stamp (Last Chance List 143755/144772) that has been used on the card base and the Bokeh Dots stamp (148110/148113) that was used as a background for the koi image.

Really looks like water, right? And here is another card done in Garden Green and Crumb Cake that I’ve shared with you before – this cards got lots of texture. What great guy cards!

Why not check out this and other items that are part of our Last Chance list? Stamp sets are guaranteed through May 25th, but all the other items are while supplies last.

Hello Cupcake Birthday Wishes

This past week was my birthday and so today I thought I would share some of the wonderful hand made cards that I received. It’s always nice to receive birthday wishes by snail mail verses face book, don’t you think. I know I enjoy them up on my mantel for weeks.

Since Sale-a-bration is in it’s final count down I thought I’d share this fun pocket card done in Lemon Lime Twist with you first.

Cute right? I love this cup cake and good news you can still earn it during the last 5 days of Sale-a-bration when you place a qualifying order.

This second one is soft and lovely done with the Marbled Background stamp and Dandelion Wishes stamp set.

And how about this card done in a quilt like design using scraps – my fellow stamp has challenged herself to create with her scraps! Love the idea. No surprise since I love quilts too.

And this final card is a thank you I received. It is an oldie but goodie but goodie retired set – dragonflies are always a hit.

That’s it for the day. It’s late since I just got back from the grocery store after a fun day day crafting and working with the NEW March Paper Pumpkin Kit that just arrived. I’ve got a fun alternate project I will be sharing with you soon.

So Many Shells Tutorial

Today’s card is one that I made for my team Shoe box Swap this past Saturday. The So Many Shells was a stamp set I couldn’t pass up with it’s wonderful shell images. You know me I can never resist a set that is beach themed!

The sentiments in the set also cover a wide variety of needs which is always a bonus. Isn’t the font lovely?

So here is the card I created.

I stamped the Marbled Background onto Vellum to give it more of a translucent water feel to it. And I love the Copper Trim! Tug and pull and it turns into what looks like a net! Perfect for this project.

I hope you’ll enjoy making this card too. Here is my FREE Tutorial for the card.
