Stampin’ Up! is showing their support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, by going PINK . . . or at least the October Paper Pumpkin boxes are! And because we know our subscribers want to share the love too, we will be making a donation on their behalf to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).

Stampin’ Up! will donate:

  • $1 for every active Paper Pumpkin subscriber.
  • Plus, an additional $1 for every new subscriber.

Together, we will make a difference!

Here’s how you can help:

  • Subscribe! Your first kit will arrive in a limited-edition pink box that you’ll want to hold onto forever-and we’ll donate $2 because you’re new!
  • Stay active if you’re a subscriber so we can donate $1 for you. Only those who receive the October shipment will be counted for the donation.

Remember, those who get the October kit will not only be donating to a good cause, but they will also get a one-time only, pretty pink Paper Pumpkin box!

Check out this fun fall project that we received in September

All Ye Faithful & Weekly Deals

Today’s cards are use the new stamp set All Ye Faithful which contains wonderful sketched images for Christmas.

This first card not only used the All Ye Faithful stamp set (139898/139901) it also uses the Hardwood Background stamp (133032/133035) to create the stable.

The card was stamped with Be a Star (135734/135734) and was cut out using the Star Framelit dies (133723). And can you see the embossed stars behind the manager? They were created using our Lucky Star Embossing Folder (135817).

This card has lots of texture  that draws your eyes to the focal point.

This second card was given to me by Tanisha and while it uses the same All Ye Faithful stamp set it has a very different feel to it.

DSC03762

I just love the colors and berry pattern found in the Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper (139592) that was used behind the rich and elegant Very Vanilla 1 1/4″ Subtle Stripes Satin Ribbon (139616). How about you?

Which is your favorite? Why not leave me a comment and let me know?

Among the Branches

Same stamp set – two very different styled cards. This first card not only uses the Among the Branches stamps set (139823), but it also uses the Gorgeous Grunge (130514/130517) to add a little texture and interest behind the Tea Lace Paper Doilies (129399).

Among the Branches SC Holiday 2015 Swap (2)

The The Silver Glimmer Paper (135314) and Basic Rhinestones (119246) give it a little pizzaz.

And this one is elegant and classic –

Among the Branches SC Holiday 2015 Swap (1)

I love the Gold Foil Sheets (132622) and Gold 1/8″ Ribbon (134583) that give it that touch of formal elegance.

Snowplace fun!

Check out these two fun cards that I made during my Team shoebox swap. Both use the Snowplace stamp set (139738) and the coordinating Snowfriends Framelit Dies (139664).

This first card was designed by my friend Anna.

Snowplace BMS Weekend Getaway Shoebox Swap 2015

Anna used traditional Christmas colors when she designed this card along with the bundle and the Softly Falling Embossing Folder (139672). The sentiment was cut out using the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits (135707).

This next card is a fancy fold

Snowplace fancy fold BMS Weekend Getaway Shoebox Swap 2015 (2)

Along with the Snowplace bundle (140844) we used the Sheltering Tree stamp set (137163) and Whisper White Craft Ink (101731) to create the soft snow look.

Check out the inside

Snowplace fancy fold BMS Weekend Getaway Shoebox Swap 2015 (1)

I just love the sentiment space! We used a circle punch to create a mask that we then stamped around with the Flurry of Wishes (139732) snowflakes in Pool Party and Night of Navy – love the look, but then I love everything winter!

Timeless Elegance Sympathy Card

Sympathy cards are something I always struggle designing, but since I needed several this past week I reached for the Timeless Elegance Designer Series Paper (138444). This paper is done in 3 of our neutral colors so it makes it very versatile, and easy to add the color of your choice.

A Dozen Thoughts Butterfly Thinlits

For this card I chose to go with a Perfect Plum base and repeated the color on the butterfly using the Butterfly Thinlits Die (137360).  I used pearls since I thought they were more, well, elegant.

So what do you think? Why not leave me a comment and let me know which pattern of the Designer Series paper is your favorite?

Supplies:

Stamp Set: A Dozen Thoughts (131056/131059)

Inks: Basic Black Archival Pad (140931)

Paper: Timeless Elegance Designer Series Paper (138444), Perfect Plum (101889) and Smoky Slate card stock (131202)

Accessories: Butterfly Thinlits Dies (137360), Hexagon Punch (130919), and Basic Pearls (119247)

Happy Scenes for Fall

Check out these two great fall cards using the Happy Scenes stamp set (139821) and the Hearth & Home Thinlits Dies (139666).

This first card was given to me by Joanne. I love the way she used the Festive Fireside Framelits (139668) to create the cat’s silhouette. And can you guess the name of the striped card stock she used?

Happy Scenes SC swap Holiday 2015 (2)

If you guessed the Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper (139585) your right!

This second card I made during my team retreat and it uses Black and Gold Embossing Powder  along with the new Gold Cording Trim (139618).

Happy Scenes swap BMS Retreat Holiday 2015 (1)

We used our Aqua Painters (103954) to create the sky’s water color look.

This stamp set covers the entire holiday season so it’s great for all your events this fall and great news these items come in a money saving bundle (140853) too!

So which is your favorite? Why not leave me a comment and let me know. I love them both!

Another Thank You

I love the rich bold images found in the Farmers Market Designer Series Paper and wanted to use it recently for some thank you cards I wanted to make so I teamed it up with our Another Thank You (136835) photopolymer stamp set.

Here is what I came up with.

Another Thank You

So what do you think? Quick and easy, right? And since I used our Black Embossing Powder when stamping this image it has a wonderfully rich feel to it. Perfect for what I was going for.

You’ll want to make sure your VersaMark Pad is nice and juicy so you’ll get great coverage. And don’t forget it is always best to use your Embossing Buddy (103083) when embossing bold images like it – it will keep your image clean and crisp!

Supplies:

Stamp Set: Another Thank You (136835)

Inks: Versa Mark Pad (102283)

Paper: Farmers Market Designer Series Paper (138448), Sahara Sand (121043) and Basic Black card stock (121045)

Accessories: Black Embossing Powder (109133), Heat Tool (129053), Embossing Buddy (103083)
