More Christmas Gleaming

Yesterday I shared some quick and easy cards with you using the Christmas Gleaming stamp set and it’s coordinating punch. Today’s cards add an extra step making them what we called stepped up. They are still cards that you can make easily, but they do require a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine since they include Embossing Folders too.

This first card is a fun fold card. It uses our beautiful Copper Foil Sheets (142020) to bring out the copper highlights of the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper.

The foil has been run through the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder (150646) for some added texture . The lovely sheer Pool Party Ribbon (152462) tops off the two punched ornaments. Open it and you have a lovely sentiment inside.

Love texture? This next card not only uses the same Hammered Metal Folder to add texture to the Copper Foil, it adds a lovely swirled background too.

The Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder (151474) was used to emboss the Sahara Sand background and the copper tone Star Designer Elements (150430) are used in the bottom corner tying all the copper elements on this card together.

So what do you think? Why not leave me a comment and let me know which style is your favorite? Yesterday’s quick and easy or today’s stepped up versions.

Christmas Gleaming Cards

Do you love punches? I know I do and they make cards quick and easy to whip up too! Check out these cards for quick and easy last minute Christmas cards.

This first card uses simply stamping and layers of Pretty Peacock and Old Olive.

And the bow ties everything together – This Old Olive and Pretty Peacock two tone Reversible Ribbon (149496) is simply striking in person and add a bit of holiday shimmer.

This next card uses our punching to create this lovely card.

A bit of shimmer is added to the ornaments with our Clear Wink of Stella (141897) and again with the gold twine from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack (152475) adds a bit more shine. The card itself is done in Real Red and Garden Green and the bit of ‘Tis the Season 6×6 Designer Series Paper (153489) sets the color pallet.

So what do you think? Quick and easy? Stop back by tomorrow when I’ll be sharing some stepped up cards using this same stamp set with you.

Team Time Fun

Each month we gather to stamp and share with each other and so today I thought I’d share some of the fun cards that my team members have created over the past 2 months. I can’t believe they got buried on my desk and I haven’t shared them with you before now.

These first 2 cards use the Country Home stamp set (147678) from the Annual Catalog that you can find on page 90. This first one uses the beautiful Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper (153527) to choose it’s color pallet.

And both these cards have been colored with our Stampin’ Blends which gives them that great bold rich, color.

And here is fun fold card using the Beautiful Autumn Stamp set () and lovely Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper (153520).

This card uses the fun impossible fold to create a card that pops up but mails flat.

And one using our Stitched Leaves Dies (153567) that has been teamed up with the colorful Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper (153527) again.

I really like the way these dies have the stitched edging that can be used on negative images like this and on the positive images too.

A gratitude journal made with the lovely Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper (152488) – done in 6×6 and filled with paper to fill. A page for each person to personalize or use it as a lovely book to use yourself.

This next project uses the Grace’s Garden stamp set (151513) and is a fun fold card.

That once again folds flat for mailing.

This next grouping of projects is for Christmas and I’ll continue with some more fun folds. First this easel card that uses the Sweetest Time Bundle (155169).

And last but not least Shirley shared some little wooden pumpkins she made using the technique we used during our Peak Princess Event. You can see more and the tutorial for that project about that HERE.

And how about some Christmas projects? This first card uses the Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper (153487) and teams it up with the beautiful Forever Gold Laser Cut Specialty Paper (152493)

And for a here is a fun fold teepee card using our Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper (150444) with it’s beautiful images.

Champagne foil Sheets (144748) were cut out using the Forever Flourishing Dies (152714) and were used as a backdrop for the sentiment. This card also folds flat for mailing simply by undoing the well placed velcro dot.

And now for some fun 3d projects – A cute little box that holds a couple of nuggets using the Little Treats stamp set (153516).

And fun tags using a variety of the holiday stamp sets found in the Annual and Holiday catalog. Can you name them all?

There are 4 different stamp sets used for these tags. Don’t look if you are still guessing but here is the list. Detailed Doves (153406), Christmas Gleaming (150464), Merry Moose (150494), and Perfectly Plaid (149418). Hand made tags for your packages make them extra special and are a lot of fun to make!

whew… what did I tell you, lots of great projects! I’m truly blessed with such a great team to share and stamp with.

Shoe Box Fun at the Team Weekend Getaway

I mentioned last Friday that I was getting ready for my team retreat – we gather 3 times a year for weekends of stamping, laughter, food and fun. I really look forward to these gatherings of uninterrupted crating time with my peeps. They are the best and while it is like a big slumber party we also get to get to use our Holiday PreOrder goodies to create. What could be better?

A shoe box swap of course! While it was a small gathering this time due to schedules we still had a wonderful time at our shoe box swap. It is always good fun and I love seeing what everyone is creating. Here are some of the projects.

This first card is for Halloween and uses the Apple Builder Punch (150663) and the coordinating Harvest Hello stamp set (150581).

This set is great for quick and easy card since it has a coordinating punch – and a super set for teachers and back to school projects since its got some wonderful sentiments too.

And here is a card that uses a bundle (153006) that is sure to be popular.

The Christmas Gleaming Suite is filled with wonderful products, and the Brightly Gleaming Designer Series paper (150429) includes Copper Foiling that is quite striking. We used the new Copper Delicata Metallic Ink for this project (150707/150708) and can you see the subtle shimmer of the Shimmy Crystal Effects (150892) that we used for the berries? So excited to have these new option for our crafting!

We also made this fun easel sticky note holder using the Pressed Petals Designer Series Paper (149500).

And finally here is my card that I created using the Toile Christmas Bundle (152367) from the Toile Tidings Suite of products.

I just fell in love with this Distinktive stamp set as soon as I saw it – the cardinal is always a favorite of mine. I’ll be working up a tutorial for you and hope to share it in the next week or two as we get closer to the Holiday Catalog launch on September 4th.

And of course, what is a team event with out some door prizes?

Goodies from the Holiday Catalog catalog – winners got to choose their favorite accessories.

Would you like a 2019 Holiday Catalog? You can pick one up during my August Classes or contact me and I’ll be happy to mail you one.

And of course how about a special event where you can pick up your copy of the catalog AND use some of these fun items too! Why not join me and play with some of the new products?
