Hydrangea Haven

Do you have fond memories of Hydrangeas? My Mother-in law loved this bushes and always had one in her yard. As we pulled into her yard the big full of blooms they were always so cheerful, like big snowballs. If you love Hydrangeas like she did you’ll be sure to enjoy working with the Hydrangea Haven Bundle (156251) found on page 18-20 of the Mini Catalog. Since this bundle is part of a suite of products you’ll have tons of coordinating products to choose from.

I really like the variety of all occasions sentiments in this set and the lovely font it uses too. What do you think? Want to see some cards now? This first card teams the bundle up with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder (152725) for a bit of texture and the Double Oval Punch (154242).

And this next one uses the Curvy Dies (154319) to create a special place for the sentiment that has been heat embossed on the Gorgeous Grape layer.

Isn’t it wonderful the way that you can bend our Photopolymer stamps to give them a bit of curve like on this card? And if you are a fan of these cards you’ll want to be sure to check out the beautiful Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper (154570) with its soft colors and images, it was one of my favorite things when I first saw the catalog. But it is really hard to pick just one accessory that I like best from this suite of products. Can you?

Oval Occasions Treat Holder Tutorial

Love quick and easy treats? I know I do – I love cute packaging that brings a smile to that special someone’s face. And the Flowers for Every Season 6×6 Designer Series Paper makes these treats quick and easy!

I whipped these up last week for my team’s Peak Princes event on Sunday. This event celebrates my teams accomplishments over the last 6 months, so this sentiment seemed perfect for it. I not only tucked in some chocolate, because who doesn’t love that? I also included their lanyard charm that I created with one of our embellishments too.

Check out just how quick and easy it is to make with just some score lines in my video tutorial so you can whip some up too!

Sale-a-bration’s A Touch of Ink

The A Touch of Ink stamp set (Sale-a-bration 155233) is another great option for you when you place a qualifying order during Sale-a-bration and you get to pick your free product. A Touch of Ink combines a set with wonderful all occasion sentiments, images and give you a 2 step option for adding color too.

You’ll want to check out these wonderful cards created with this stamp set – after all who can resist butterflies and hummingbirds! This first card uses our Blending Brushes (153611) to add a simple band of color as a backdrop of these lovely sketched images.

A bit of texture has been added to the Granny Apple Green layer with the Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder (153200) and the sentiment has been punched out with our new Double Oval Punch (154242) and added to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals to add some depth.

This next card uses the fun polka dot pattern from the Field & Flower Designer Series Paper (Sale-a-bration 155223) and sets the color pallet for the card.

I love the water color look the 2 step stamps in this set have – the shading is done for you with one quick and easy stamp.

How about a soft and sweet look? Done in Purple Posy and Blushing Bride this next card has a completely different feel due to the colors chosen. The sentiment has a shadow effect since the sentiment has been cut out with the Ornate Frames Dies (150664) and popped up for a bit of color behind it.

The hummingbird has been colored using our So Saffron and Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends for a bit strong coloring effect.

And how about the focal point being the flowers? I love the way this gives us just a hint of the hummingbird dropping by for a quick meal.

And today’s final card uses just the 2 step stamps to create this collage effect for this bright and bold card done in Gorgeous Grape, Pear Pizzazz and Mossy Meadow.

Quick and easy the Gorgeous Grape 3/8″ Sheer Ribbon (154572) adds a bit of color and texture to the card. So what do you think? Which card is your favorite? There is no right or wrong answer when it comes to card making. It’s part of what I love with stamping our color choices an create such different looks with the same stamp set and our options are unlimited since the coordination Stampin’ Up! gives us allows for endless options based on what we like!
