Love quick and easy treats? If so our Ombre Gift Bags might be just the think you are looking for since they make creating a treat quick and easy. I was inspired to create my own little gift bag by a swap that I received (you can see it HERE).
Make them up ahead and simply slide your goodie inside when you’re ready.
Bags are 4 3/4″ x 7″ so they’ll hold quite a bit too. This batch I whipped up for a little Team gift for our Meeting, I filled them with a sweet little treat for my along with a little something I picked up on the Maui Incentive Trip in May.
They were a hit for sure.
Want to see how I made them? I’ve got a quick little video tutorial and PDF for you.

LAST DAY TO RSVP & HOLD YOUR SPOT IN MY JULY CARD CLASS
Today I wanted to share some more of the fantastic swaps that I got on the Incentive trip. This swap was an optional part of the trip and we had a choice of cards or 3d. Today’s post again is all about the cards.
And there were lots who participated, the boards were so full that not everyone’s made it on to the board, mine included. But I’ve already shared my card with you on the 18th HERE along with the video and tutorial in case you wanted to see it.
On to the swaps… This first one is bright and cheerful and perfect for the event! Magenta Madness and the In the Tropics Dies (151495). Yep, no stamping just dies were used to create this card and the bright cheerful colors make it fun.
And check out this next card which uses strips of the 2021 In Colors.
Clever, right? the strips adhered to a Basic Black card stock piece and were then die cut using the Hippo & Friends Dies (153585). The sentiment is from the Flowers of Friendship stamp set (155385) and those fun little speckles from the Clear & Contour stamp set (154994).
Another bright and cheerful card using the exclusive Host Designer Series Paper, Pattern Party (Host 155426). It works perfectly with this bold stamp set, Biggest Wish (155052).
Our White 1/4″ Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon (151326) is perfect for this project since you can add color to the ribbon so easily! And inside is just as bright and fun, check it out.
The very popular Artistically Inked Suite is highlighted on this next card.
With all the gold foiling the Expressions in Ink Designer Series Paper (155464) is sure to impress.
This next card uses the fun In Symmetry stamp set (155140), Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper (155605) and new Baker’s Twine Essential Pack (155475).
I love the way our Champagne Rhinestones (151193) pick up the colors on the card. And it’s a fun fold too.
My last swap that I wanted to share with you today is a Slim Line Card done in our 2021 In Colors.
They look so great together! The card was quick and easy since it uses the New Flowers & Leaves Punch (155373), Heart Punch Pack (151292) and the Banners Pick a Punch (153608).
Got a favorite swap that I shared with you today? Why not leave me a comment and let me know.
More Incentive Trip Highlights
I thought I’d share a few more pictures with you from the Incentive Trip. This first one is of the Maui Gold Pineapple Tour, our guide Ken was a lot of fun. I can’t tell you how sad I am that we’ve cut into our last Maui Gold pineapple. I’m trying to figure out how I can hide it from the family without feeling guilty! Ah, well I guess I’ll be sharing it is too good not to share.
These next few photos are of the Stampin’ Up! excursion – we chose snorkeling and were so glad we did. We had a lot of fun being on a catamaran for the first time and watching the sails go up. While I just love being on the water, Larry can struggle with it and experienced a bit of motion sickness.
While our cameras don’t do justice to the fish the snorkeling was fantastic and there was a lot of variety too.
We spent a lovely afternoon around the resort. Here are some more pictures of the resort – these views never get old. Early morning I think was my favorite with the pinks from the sun rise.
To end the day we enjoyed dinner with Sherrie and her husband Jeff at the Maui Brewery Co. It was nice catching up and that we got to meet each others spouses after knowing each other for years. (I always enjoy doing Sherrie’s Shoebox Swaps at our live events.)
I had the Coconut Shrimp Fried Rice Sherrie said the other demonstrators were raving about. It was soooo yummy!
Whew, so much food and I loved the presentation. If you’d like to see more of the photos that I took from the Incentive Trip stop by my facebook page and check them out.
Then stop back by next week when I’ll be sharing more cards & the 3d swaps with you.

More Timeless Tropical Fun
Whether you are headed to the beach for some sand and sun or staying close to home this year, you can enjoy some fun summer cards using the Timeless Tropical Stamp set (151497) and their coordinating dies, In the Tropics (151495) too. As I shared with you yesterday this set has some wonderful sentiments in it. This first card is a fun easel fold
Done in Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody and Coastal Cabana – a bright and cheerful color combination that just screams summer.
And this next card is done in Cinnamon Cider and Mossy Meadow for a more classic feel. The Many Medallions Die (153584) were used to create the lovely background for this card.
Don’t you love how our products coordinate? It’s part of what makes Stampin’ Up! products such a great value. While both these cards use the same palm trees image from the stamp set, they have such different feels to them. Got a favorite? Why not leave me a comment and let me know which is your favorite?
Then stop back by tomorrow when I’ll be sharing a fun tutorial with you!
It’s hot and humid in North Georgia today which makes it the type of day you want to sit back and sit a cold drink in the shade. That is until the afternoon storms arrive. lol So today I thought I’d share some cards with a tropical vibe. Check out the set it is filled with wonderful images and uses a beautifully fluid font for the sentiments too.
The cards I’ll be sharing with you today were all created with the Timeless Tropical stamp set (151497) and their coordinating dies, In the Tropics (151495). This first one looks like a pretty picture. The frame was created with our Stitched Rectangle Dies (151820) and sponging was used to create the lovely sunset. A circle Mask was used it’s a simple technique – all you have to do is cut out of a circle from a sticky note, put in place and then sponge around it as desired. Striking right?
And how about this next card? It uses a simple torn edge technique to create texture and interest.
And finally, this last card today is a fun fold card
When you open it you’ll get a wonderful surprise. Once again the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder was used to create interest on the inside along with some sponging to highlight the pattern.
So what do you think? Feeling a tropical vibe too? Stop back by tomorrow when I’ll be sharing some more cards using this fun set that is great for all kinds of occasions and scrap booking too!

This Suite is one of my favorite in the Mini Catalog and here are some more cards made using the products from this suite for you today.
This first card is a fancy fold, called the 4 fold card.
When opened it’s like a little book – so much fun. Check out the beach chair from the Seasonal Layers Dies. Soooo cute!
And here is a fun card done with the In the Tropic Dies.
Can you see the texture on the pineapple? The Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper was used to cut out the die, giving it a lot of texture – so simple, but it packs a wow factor.
And this last card is perfect for a retirement, thank you, or special trip
Do you like these cards? How can this bright, cheerful suite of products not make you smile with their tropical feel? If you love this suite as much as I do, why not take a class with me that includes the Timeless Tropical Bundle and more?

Please Note: With the quickly changing information we have been receiving I wanted to let you know that I will not be holding my LIVE events through the end of April. This is a step I didn’t take lightly, but one I feel is important to help do my part to protect not only my family, but also my stamping friends too.
That being said, as we all practice sheltering in place in different ways across the US, I know that stamping can be a positive way to reduce stress during this stressful time. So I’ll be making some modifications to my classes and offering them in a different way! While I have been offering Kits to Go with my product based classes already, I’ll be introducing my Virtual Class option too. I’ve already sent this out in my Newsletter today, but I’ll be sharing more information with you soon here on my blog.
