Timeless Textures, Petal Palette & More

Today’s cards all use some of my favorite stamp sets that are part of the Last Chance List – And did you know that our retiring stamps will only be guaranteed for a few more days and then they too will be while supplies last? Yep, so why not take a look at these great card and then check out the Last Chance list before they are no longer available?

This first group of cards uses the Petal Palette stamp set (145785/145788) along with the coordinating Petals & More Thinlits Dies (145655). I love the font the sentiment use in this set and the selection of sentiments too which make it a great set for all kinds of occasions.

And here are some that I’ve received in swaps over the past. I just love this little bird.

And how about some cards made using the Timeless Texture Stamp set (140514/140517)? This set is fantastic for adding some texture to any project!

And finally a card or two using the Bright Wishes Stamp set (143823/143827).

Quick & Easy Graduation Cards

I needed to whip up a bunch of graduation cards last weekend for my daughter’s students and my mind went immediately to the Large Letter Framelits Dies (1414712) that are part of the Last Chance List. I’m really going to miss the Letters for You stamp set (141968) and these coordinating dies since they make fast cards that are easily customizable to suit your needs.

Here is what I came up with

I reached for my Brights Designer Series Paper Stack (Last Chance 146964) since I needed multiples – school colors are red and black, a very common due here in Georgia. LOL!

Want to make some for yourself? With our Color Collection Designer Series Paper Stacks it’s soooo easy to make a bunch simply pick a family that has the color you need and team it up with the 2nd color using the dies!

Here is a quick tutorial for you with the complete supply list, sorry no video today I’m still cleaning up from my Spring Consignment Sale.

Many of these items are on the Last Chance List and are only available while supplies last. If you haven’t already taken a look, why not stop by and look at what is retiring now so you don’t miss out?

Enjoy!

Winter Weekend Team Fun

This past weekend my Team, the Blue Mountain Stampers, gathered for a few days of stamping, sharing and fun. We gather 3 times a year for these retreats and it is always a blast!

Cindy, gave everyone these sweet little Valentine boxes.

This time there were 7 of us – here is a early morning shot of the space on Saturday morning before the fun began.

This time on Saturday after our Shoe box Swap I introduced the Dice Game – and it seemed to be a hit!

Have you ever played? This game is always fun and it is fast paced!

Here are the rules. There are pans with 2 dice in them, all the prizes are put in the center of the circle. You roll the dice and then pass the pan, if you roll a double you get to choose a prize.

Then after all the prizes are gone from the center the timer is set. Then you start the game again, but this time you steal from each others piles of prizes. Seems there is always one that is highly sought after and is stolen frequently!

When the timer goes off the game is done and everyone gets to open their prizes!

We had so much fun doing this I’m sure we’ll be including it again!

And now on to the cards.

Want to see what we made in our Shoe box Swap? Everyone made great cards to share.

This first one uses the Petal Palette bundle (145973/145974. If you love this bundle of products check out my Class & Events, we’ll be using this in my February 3rd class to create a wonderful stationary box and cards. CLICK HERE for my Calendar of Events.

And here is a elegant card made using the Hold on to Hope bundle (145969/145970) and the Petal Garden Designer Series Paper Stack (144168).

I love the thinlits in the bundle – this larger cross has beautiful detail and the delicate cross in the set not only cuts the cross out, but also embosses a design on it.

And this final card uses the Brusho Crystal Colours (144101) and the Beautiful Day stamp set (145912/145915) found in the Occasions Catalog. Want to learn more about this fun new product? Check out my March class HERE.
