Humming Along & More

Do you love humming birds? I know I do and I always look forward to seeing them in the spring at my feeders. Although this year I’m wondering if the severe weather is affecting them this spring since I’ve only seen a few of them a couple of weeks ago.

Today’s card all use the Humming Along stamp set from the Occasions Catalog

This first card uses our Brusho Crystal Colors (last chance Item #144101) – a fun way to add bright bold color to any project!

This next one uses our ever popular Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper Stack (last chance Item #148554) and the Tufted Embossing Folder (146335) a great choice for adding a bit of texture to any project.

And how about these next two that also use our Stampin’ Blends – LOVE coloring with the Blends it is so easy and I find them relaxing too!

This Bundle (150621) is on the Last Chance List and is only available while supplies last or through the end of the catalog period, June 3rd. So you’ll want to be sure to get it now if it’s on your shopping list.

And here is another set from the Annual Catalog this time that is on the Last Chance List – Sitting Pretty (146615) and it’s coordinating Pretty Park Framelits Dies (146851)

There is a little bull dog that isn’t used on this card – but makes it a perfect set for our Georgia Bull Dog fans.

Artistically Asian and more

Today’s cards have a decidedly Asian feel to them. It’s one of those sets that I had to take another look at after seeing cards created with it. I found I especially love the sentiments contained in this set.

Check out these cards made with the set. This first one uses simple circle created with our punch and used as a mask to create a lovely back drop for the silhouette image.

And how about with one done on our Glossy Card stock (144240) with Brusho Crystal Colour  (144101) and our Stampin’ Spritzers (126185).

We’ve got another great set called All the Good Things (146555/146558).

It’s got some wonderful sentiments too. And here is a lovely card done in Crumb Cake and Garden Green.

So simple but lovely – can you see all the texture? Torn edge and the Garden Green has been run through the Big Shot with the Subtle Embossing Folder (143706).

More Sea of Textures

Yesterday I shared some cards with you using the Tranquil Textures Designer Series Paper – today’s cards don’t use Designer Series Paper, instead they add interest and texture with stamps and techniques.

This first card uses our Brusho Color Crystals (144101) to create the background for the window.

And can you see the texture on the net? Add a little Soft Suede Reinker (115663) to our Fine Tip Glue Pen adhesive and dab it on to create some wonderful texture with a shine!

And here this card uses the Shaving Cream Technique and our Lemon Lime Twist (144092), Bermuda Bay (131156) and Night of Navy (103033)  reinkers to create this fun back drop.

and check out this fun fold that hides this sentiment inside.

And finally this card uses just stamping to create lots of fun texture

Do you have a favorite? Why not leave me a comment and let me know yours?

Check out this first card – I love the soft look of the ink that has been stamped and then spritzed on our Watercolor Paper. I really think it creates a cool effect. How about you?

And I love the way our Brusho Color Crystals (144101) were used on Glossy Card stock (144240) and peek through the die on this card.

And how about these cards?

And here is a fun fold I stamped at a shoe box swap using the set.

It’s A Good Day

And this card uses the We Must Celebrate Stamp Set (145895/145898) which is quickly becoming one of my spring favorites!

And how about this card using the Beautiful Day stamp set (145912/145915) and our Brusho Crystal Colors (144101) for a taste of spring?

Love the Prussian Blue teamed up with our Pacific Point Card stock.

And last but not least – Let the Good Times Roll (145687) lol!

Brusho Masking Technique Video Tutorial

The Brusho Color Crystals are so much fun to play with I don’t want to stop! If you haven’t tried them yet, you won’t be disappointed with the variety of uses with your projects.

Here is a card we made during our April Team meeting that focused on different Brusho Techniques.

This card uses a simple masking technique that creates a wonderful look and was soooo easy to do with a bit of painter’s tape!

Want to make some too? Here is a tutorial for the card so you can play and create too.

Blue Mountain Stampers’ OnStage Stream Event

I love to share and so as a team we always gather together to share with those team members who weren’t able to attend the Stampin’ Up! event itself. We gather, have dinner, stream and stamp together with the new products introduced from the latest catalog – this time the NEW 2018 Annual Catalog & the color revamp!

Before the event my husband, Larry helped me do some prepping for one of our Make n Takes – everyone who attended was able to make a 2018 Color Ring with the NEW colors! He’s such a trooper! (Watch for information next month about how you can get one of these too.)

I always try to bring a little taste of OnStage back to the group. This time the lovely little butterflies that decorated the tables – at the end of the night team members were able to choose one to take home, just like at the event.

And of course you have to have some “swag” – So I created these fun little Mini Pizza Boxes (144645) using the Picture Perfect Designer Series Paper (145559)  and our new Detailed Trio Punch (available June 1st).

The Mini Pizza Box contained a little charm to go on their key chain commemorating the launch of our new catalog.

And of course NEW product displays

And of course we HAVE to stamp – after all everyone wants to use some of those new products! So we did 3 Make n Take projects. (watch for me to share those projects soon)

Laughter, fellowship, and stamping – what could be better?

If you like to learn new ways to use Stampin’ Up! products and would like to be part of a fun group of stampers, my team the Blue Mountain Stampers might be just the thing you are looking for. Click HERE for more information about joining and getting a fantastic stamping kit too.

Stop back by tomorrow when I’ll be sharing some great cards with you.

Winter Weekend Team Fun

This past weekend my Team, the Blue Mountain Stampers, gathered for a few days of stamping, sharing and fun. We gather 3 times a year for these retreats and it is always a blast!

Cindy, gave everyone these sweet little Valentine boxes.

This time there were 7 of us – here is a early morning shot of the space on Saturday morning before the fun began.

This time on Saturday after our Shoe box Swap I introduced the Dice Game – and it seemed to be a hit!

Have you ever played? This game is always fun and it is fast paced!

Here are the rules. There are pans with 2 dice in them, all the prizes are put in the center of the circle. You roll the dice and then pass the pan, if you roll a double you get to choose a prize.

Then after all the prizes are gone from the center the timer is set. Then you start the game again, but this time you steal from each others piles of prizes. Seems there is always one that is highly sought after and is stolen frequently!

When the timer goes off the game is done and everyone gets to open their prizes!

We had so much fun doing this I’m sure we’ll be including it again!

And now on to the cards.

Want to see what we made in our Shoe box Swap? Everyone made great cards to share.

This first one uses the Petal Palette bundle (145973/145974. If you love this bundle of products check out my Class & Events, we’ll be using this in my February 3rd class to create a wonderful stationary box and cards. CLICK HERE for my Calendar of Events.

And here is a elegant card made using the Hold on to Hope bundle (145969/145970) and the Petal Garden Designer Series Paper Stack (144168).

I love the thinlits in the bundle – this larger cross has beautiful detail and the delicate cross in the set not only cuts the cross out, but also embosses a design on it.

And this final card uses the Brusho Crystal Colours (144101) and the Beautiful Day stamp set (145912/145915) found in the Occasions Catalog. Want to learn more about this fun new product? Check out my March class HERE.
