Something Fancy Birthday Box Card Tutorial

Love fun folds? Then you’ll enjoy today’s card made with the Something Fancy Bundle (retiring 160425). This bundle is part of the last chance list, so if you’d like the 10% discount you’ll want to get it before the Last Chance List ends on May 1st.

Something Fancy

Do you love sentiment sets? How about a great label die set? Well I think you’ll love the Something Fancy Bundle (160425) if you do as much as I do.

Sentiment sets are great to use by them selves or with your favorite image set, Designer Series Paper or even Embossing Folder. Check out today’s cards and you’ll see exactly what I mean.

This first card teams up the sympathy sentiment and dies with the Painted Posies 3D Embossing Folder (159175) and Sun Prints Designer Series Paper (158790).

The embossed image has been highlighted with a bit of Classic Ink using a Blending Brush. This next card uses the fun paper strip technique along with the Decorative Circle Punch (159174) and Deckled Rectangle Dies (159173) to create this fun birthday card.

And here is another birthday card using the Regency Park Designer Series Paper (160559) for a fun floral feel.

Fun Easel Swing Card

Today’s project if a fun fold called the Easel Swing Card. This card is a lot of fun to make, packs a wow and stand up on its own for display making it special for that person you give it to.

This card uses the floral Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper (158822) a beautiful pack of paper that has not only wonderful floral patterns, colors but also a hand painted feel too. I’m using the Something Fancy Bundle (160425) with its wonderful sentiments and dies for this project.

Soft and lovely Fancy Floral

As I mentioned yesterday I have another tutorial to share with you that we made during my Team OnStage After Party. Being November was a rather crazy month with a second surgery this too got buried on my desk. It’s hard to say what other gems I’ll find as I work through things. 🙂

So today’s card uses the Fancy Flora Suite Collection – this collection is filled with wonderful products and if you like shimmer paper you’ll love the Fine Shimmer Paper Pack (160428) for your projects.

This Thank You card used all the products from the Suite and is a versatile layout as you can swap out the different Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper (160413) easily. Here is a quick video tutorial for you along with my PDF.

The Fancy Floral Suite Shimmers

Check out these lovely cards made using this suite of products. This first card uses the lovely Fine Shimmer Paper Pack (160428) and coordinating Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon (155780).

And here is another fun fold card using simple stamping and the lovely Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper (160413).

Lift the flap and you’ll see the inside sentiment.

This next one uses our Scalloped Contour Dies (155560) as a back drop for the soft Orchid Oasis and Fresh Freesia blooms.

And last but not least is this bright and cheerful card using a few more of our In Colors, this time it teams up the 2021-2023 Pale Papaya, Polished Pink with two of our 2022-2024 In Colors Orchid Oasis and Parakeet Party.

A few of the blooms are stamped onto the coordinating card stock, die cut and popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430) for a bold look.
