Fall Fun with the Chalkboard Banner Kit

Have you ever tried one of our Simply Created Kits? Well they’re great when you don’t have a lot of time or just want to create without any prep time and cutting since pretty much everything comes in the kit that you need, except scissors and adhesive.

They are also easy to step up simply by adding things that you already have. And our kits coordinate with all kinds of different products.

Today I’m going to share with you the fall banner I made that I made for my Holiday Catalog Premiere Party on Sunday with the Chalkboard Banner Simply Created Kit (133795). The banner was quick and easy to put together and looks great I think.

FALL Holiday Catalog Premiere Chalkboard Banner Simply Created Kit

Everyone will think that you spent a lot of time creating. But you know that you didn’t have to!

In addition to the kit I used my Autumn Accents Die (127812) to create some leaves and acorns for the pennants in between my letters.

DSC02127

I’ve made a quick video to show you how I did the leaves and acorns.

After I attached the leaves to the pennants I added some of our NEW Autumn Wooden Elements (135846) and a little bit of Bermuda Bay 1/8″ Taffeta Ribbon (131206) that I tied in a knot to the chalk board pennants with a Glue Dot. I’m really loving these little wooden elements – they are just too cute and add just the right pop of color and texture.

Stop back by tomorrow when I’ll be sharing a favorite fall recipe with you.

Supplies:

Paper: Hello Honey (133643), Tangerine Tango (126946), and Cajun Craze Card Stock(126965)

Pop ‘n Cuts Easter Treat

I love to use the Card Base Pop ‘n Cuts Die to create all kinds of projects. So when I was playing with the Eggstra Spectacular stamp set the other day working on my Mini File Folder Gum Holder (click HERE to see more about that project) I couldn’t resist pulling it out to play with – and voila!

Pop 'n Cuts Easter Treat

The holder holds a square of Ghirardelli chocolate. (I found these special ones for Easter at my local Ingles that are just too cute with the little images on them.)

Ghirardelli Chocolate Spring Pop 'n Cuts Easter Treat

Don’t you just love the soft colors from the Watercolor Wonder Designer Series Paper? Mmm… subtles, I love the soft spring color pallet, it’s my personal happy place and after this winter I think we’re all looking forward to spring!

I’ve used my Blender Pen and Smoky Slate Classic Stampin’ Pad to color the little lamb along with an assortment of Stampin’ Write Markers for the basket of eggs. And the Island Indigo Chevron Ribbon belly band just slides off and allows you to open your treat –

Peachy Keen Kiss Treat Tent Video Tutorial

This cute little treat is one that I made as a gift for those of you who came to my Occasions Catalog Bash. It was quick and easy to make and since it contains chocolate kisses who can resist, right?

Peachy Keen Kiss Treat Tents (1)

So here is my how to Peachy Keen Kiss Treat Tent Video Tutorial as promised – although maybe it’s a little late? With all the excitement of Leadership I can’t remember. LOL

Easy, peasy right? And since I used the Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper Stack I had 4 sheets of this design, so I could make a bunch of them. Don’t you love the Paper Stacks? With all the wonderful patterns there are lots to choose from!

I made so many of these little Peach Keen Kiss Treats that I even took some to leadership with me last week and used them as my 3D swaps. They seemed to be a hit with my fellow demonstrators there.

Stop by tomorrow when I’ll be sharing with you a card that I created for my second Shoebox Swap at Leadership.

Color Me Christmas Envelope Treat Pouch Video Tutorial

Today I wanted to share a new video tutorial with you of something I made to tuck into my holiday packages I was mailing. It’s just a little something, so that when they got their package they had something they could open right away. I have a very impatient bunch – LOL. So to hold my little treat I came up with this Envelope Treat Pouch.

I used the deer image from the Color Me Christmas stamp set that you can find in the Holiday Catalog on page 32 – It is a great set for coloring. And of course you have a lot of different choices as to how you color, but for this project I chose to use my Blender Pen and Classic Ink Pads.

Color Me Christmas Envelope Treat Pouch

I really love the way this Envelope Treat Pouch turned out and it holds a good size treat. So I tucked some Russell Stover Chocolates in mine.

Russell Stover Chocolates image

Even better yet,  since you get 4 per 12” x 12” piece of Designer Series Paper you can make a lot to share with your loved ones.

Remembering Your Birthday Video Tutorial

When I first saw the Eastern Elegance Designer Series Paper I fell in love with the colors and patterns. My eye has always drawn to the gray tones – I guess it’s a result of the 70’s when everything was brown – grays just feel clean and fresh to me. And since I haven’t had a chance to play with it much yet I wanted to use it for this card – a pocket File Folder Card.

File Folder Card #3

So what do you think? I really like the way this card turned out and I love the way the second sentiment pops out from under the tab – kind of a hidden surprise.

New Gift Bow Die Video

I love to pamper my down line and since we have our meeting tonight, I wanted to make something special for those who are celebrating their anniversary as part of my team. So I made these quick little bags using the Gift Bow Die that hold a little surprise for them.

Gift Bow Die Basic Bow

These little goodies were created using our 2013-2015 In Colors and were easy to make since I used our little Tag a Bag Gift Bags to start. I then added my bow that I created with my Gift Bow Bigz L Die (from the Holiday Catalog page 37), and finally finished them off with a tag that I made using our Chalk Talk stamp set and coordinating Framelits. Cute right?

I have made this Getting Started with the Gift Bow Die Video Tutorial to show you how to make both the basic bow that I used for this project along with the double bow too.

Did you know that our Gift Bow Die (129977) is part of this week’s Weekly Deals? You can now get it for a fantastic price for a limited time – So why not get yours today?

Here is a picture of all my little bags ready for my Team to choose from.
