Last Day for the Last Chance List & More

Just a reminder that it is Thursday and that means today is the last day to order items from the 2018 Occasions Catalog and 2017 Annual Catalog that are part of the Last Chance List. After today they will be gone. That includes retiring colors, card stock, ink pads, reinkers and other accessories.

And here are some more projects using the Last Chance stamp sets.

This first one uses the Guy’s Greetings (138825/138828/137178). It’s one of my favorite sets that is retiring.

And how about these cards I made with the So Many Shells stamp set (143695). The sentiments in this set are wonderful for those hard to make cards.

Want a tutorial? Click HERE for one that I shared earlier with you.

And this one uses Badges & Banners (141605/141610)

And this fun movement card uses the You Move Me (144002) and it’s coordinating Dies (143732). It comes in a bundle too (145322) so you can save.

And of course, the Stylized Birthday (141828) single stamp.

And this cute little baker is one of my favorite images from the Birthday Delivery stamp set (143660).

And this one uses the Lovely Inside & Out stamp set (144008/144011)

And last but not least the Paisley & Posies (142196) stamp set – I use this one a lot for masculine cards like this one.

And here is another card using this set.

And of course I can resist 3d gift items so check out this cute little box using the Pieces & Patterns stamp set (143840/143843) done in Flirty Flamingo.

And the Bow Builder Punch (137414) done in Berry Burst.

Cute right?

We have some great products retiring today!

It’s also the last day to take advantage of our Share What You Love Early Release Bundles

These bundles not only have wonderful products, but FREE items too to help you create. Here are a couple of cards made with these bundles.

I’ll be sad to see this Butterfly Thinlits Die (137360) go as you can see it makes a lovely card all by its self.

and how about this card made with the Wild About Flower stamp set (138728) – don’t you love the soft clouds sponged in the background?

A fun card perfect for all ages, the Birthday Delivery stamp set (143660), Framelits and Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper (144118)

Guy Greetings & More

Today I wanted to share some of the swaps that I made in Sherrie’s Shoe box swap at OnStage. I enjoy this event and stamping with demonstrators from all over North America. It’s face paced, and fun since we swap 40 cards in 3 hours!

Today’s cards use stamp sets and other products that are all part of the Last Chance List and will be retiring in May. I’m really sad to see this first set, Guy Greetings (138825/138828) go. I love using it for those guys in my life.

It has a fun fold too.

I love the colors we used for this card – It uses our True Gentlemen Designer Series Paper (145593), Night of Navy 3/8″ Corduroy Ribbon (145597) and Tranquil Tide 1/2″ Finely Woven Ribbon too (144136). Rich bold and perfect for those dudes in our life.

And here is a fun card that has no stamping on it – Our Big Shot Celebration Duo Embossing Folders (142760) and Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies (137547) were used to create the bright bold card.

And how about this soft and subtle card a mask and sponging create this lovely focal point.

The final stamping was done in our Archival Basic Black Ink (140931) using our Thoughts & Prayers (128751/127805) and Touches of Texture (1419341/143251) stamp sets.

This next card uses the You’ve Got This stamp set (139572/139575) and it is done with our Watercolor Pencils and teamed up with our Fresh Floral Designer Series Paper Stack (144131).

And finally this bright bold card using the Pansy Punch (130698) and coordinating stamp set, Birthday Blossoms (139167/139471).

The sentiment is from our Picture Perfect (145519) set and the color palette is pulled from the Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper (144185). Can you see the stripes created with the Simple Stripes Embossing Folder (145648) on the Lemon Lime Twist background?

Our Last Chance List promotion is currently in full swing, so why not stop by my online store and see what items are going away at the end of May?

Stop back by tomorrow when I’ll be sharing a fun nugget treat video tutorial I made for my 3d swaps at OnStage.

Cute right? What father wouldn’t love getting this card?

And you can purchase this set and framelits in a money saving bundle (140822/140823) while supplies last or until May 31st when the Occasions Catalog ends. (While you’ll find these items in our 2016 Annual Catalog they won’t be offered in the Bundle any longer.)

And here are some more wonderful masculine cards I received from my fellow demonstrators in swaps.

This first one was given to me by Trudy. She used the stamp set From Land to Sea (138720/139361) and created the sand dunes using the Sprinkles of Life stamp set (139971).

From Land to Sea SC 2015 Annual Catalog Swap

Clever girl – I love it when you can use stamps and punches for other things!

And finally this card uses one of my favorite sets, Guy Greetings (138825/138828/137178).

Guy Greetings OnStage 2015 Shoebox Swap (1)

I love all the texture on this card – It uses the Boho Chic (138286), and  two of our retiring Embossing folders, Honeycomb (129378) and Chevron  (127749).

I can’t pick a favorite. How about you? Why not leave me a comment and let me know which one you like best!

No Bones About It (2)

While clean and simple on the outside it packs a wonderful surprise on the inside.

No Bones About It (1)

I love the way Geralyn used the Tree Builder Punch (138295) and Fringe scissors (133325) to give a panorama feel to this card.

This next card from Joyce and uses the Garden in Bloom stamp set (139433).

Garden in Bloom

And of course, Irene created a great card using the Guy Greetings stamp set (138825/138828/137178) and the 2015-2017 Envelope Paper (138312).

Guy Greetings (1)

Isn’t it great that you can use our Envelope Paper for all kinds of different things? While the weight is much lighter than our regular Designer Series Paper you still get wonderful patterns in each package!

And this final card is from Jenny and it uses the Gift from the Garden stamp set (138718/139356).

Team Fun & More

I was trying to be good today and get my gardening done before it got too hot. So, happily I can say I now have the mound of squash an zucchini off my kitchen counter top and into the freezer. That is until we pick again tonight. Half of the freezer is full of squash now so I’m thinking… planting another round isn’t necessary. My husband, Larry was a bit worried we wouldn’t have enough since the plants are already dying. I’ve got about 80 containers filled with my Baked Squash Recipe now. LOL!  (Click HERE to see my recipe that I shared last year.)

So I’m taking a break and thought I’d share the great cards I made during some Team meetings last month. Part of the fun is sharing ideas, like I showed you yesterday and part of the fun is getting to stamp together.

These first couple of cards I stamped during my SINKS team meeting. They both use Guy Greetings (138825/138828/137178). Like I’ve said before a great and versatile set to have on hand! Of course, for me these two images are great. Don’t you love cars? I know my guys do and the anchor just makes me smile.

Guy Greetings Sinks project (1) Guy Greetings Sinks project (2)

These next cards I made during our Stamp Diva’s meeting. I love the fact we always learn techniques like this first card using the Butterfly Basics Stamp Set (138813/1387816/137154).

Butterfly Basics Stamp Divas Project

And these next cards were taken directly from the catalog with some minor changes based on the supplies on hand. Can you spot them in the 2015 Annual Catalog?

And I thought this card using our Petite Pairs (128706/122497) and Fancy Foil Designer Vellum (133363) was fun to make. Sometimes I forget just how much fun vellum is.

Which one is your favorite? Why not leave me a comment and let me know? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Guy Greetings

Stampin’ Up! is holding their Leadership Conference later this week and I’m putting my last minute touches on the projects so I thought I would share one of them today.

This card is made using the Guy Greetings set from the Occasions Catalog. I love this stamp set and it’s images, it has such a great selection of greetings for the guys in our lives and it also lends itself well to cards with a lot of texture. It also is available in ALL three types of stamps – have you noticed that in the Occasions Catalog? Stampin’ Up! has heard us and has responded to us by offering this stamp set in wood, clear mount, and photopolymer!!! Now you can have your cake and eat it too!

Anyhow, so here is what I came up with.

Guy Greetings Leadership Shoebox Swap 2015

What do you  think? I’m hoping it is a hit during my Shoebox Swap on Wednesday afternoon with my fellow demonstrators.

Oh, What fun it is to swap!!

Speaking of swaps I’ve held my first organized swap by mail with my fellow demonstrators. What fun it was to go to the mail box each day and get another package of cards. All total there were 45 different cards using stamp sets from the Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-bration brochure. I can’t wait to share some of them with you when I return from Leadership.

After several hours of sorting and packaging here is everything ready to go back to those who participated. I know it will feel like Christmas to them when they see their package in their mail box later this week (weather willing.)
