Another Thank You & New Endless Birthday Wishes Photopolymer Set

Have you tried our Photopolymer stamps? Well if you haven’t yet, you should give them a try they are so easy to work with. They are really sticky, so just place them on your block and go. And Stampin’ Up! has stepped up our Photopolymer line by including them in the NEW 2014 Catalog. There are a lot of new sets too, yipppie!

And now not only can you find Another Thank You (136835) in the 2014 Catalog (available June 2nd), but they come in our Clear Mount Stamp Cases just like our other sets and have a wonderful new scent too – Chocolate! Gone is that chemical smell of Photopolymers. No airing out your sets – Yippie!

I showed you a gift that I gave for  graduation the other day for one of the twins and today’s project is the gift set I made with Another Thank You for the other twin.

Another Thank You note card set In Color (3)

These note cards are also done in the NEW 2014-2016 In Colors that will be available on June 2nd. Along with a little note pad, pen, and clip using the yummy NEW Moonlight Designer Series Paper Stacks (133701).

Moonlight note pad and pen (4)

Although the gifts used a different stamp set I did end up packaging them the same way.

Would you believe this plastic bag is from some Playtex bras that my Aunt bought while she was visiting! LOL. Shhhh……Don’t tell the boys! Recycle and Reuse – think out of the box and you’ll be amazed what you can come up with. These little plastic bags were perfect for this set of note cards and stationary items.

Work of Art 2014 Catalog Sneak Peek

Last week I showed you one of the graduation cards that I made for the weekend’s graduation party. Would you like to see the small graduation gift that I put together for one of the twins to go with their cards? I always like tuck a check into the card, but wanted to include something special too and think this little gift was a hit.

Work of Art In Color Graduation Card Set (6)

For this set I used the Work of Art stamp set (134111/134114) which I received during the Catalog Premier last month and used the NEW 2014 -2016 In Colors that I got in my box (squeal of delight!).

I made a set of 10 Note Cards & Envelopes (131527), 2 each of Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey, Lost Lagoon, Mossy Meadow, and Tangelo Twist. Aren’t the colors yummy?

Moonlight note pad and pen (3)

I also covered a pad of paper, extra large binder clip, and pen to coordinate for them using the NEW Moonlight Designer Series Paper Stack (133701). I tucked everything, including a book of stamps into a little pouch that I had laying around and tied it up with some Summer Starfruit 1 1/4″ Striped Grosgrain Ribbon (132980) from the Occasions Catalog which ends June 1st and a little piece of Whisper White Baker’s Twine (124262).

Traveler 2014 Catalog Sneak Peek

Wow, yesterday I got my box of 2014 Annual Catalog items and couldn’t wait to dive in. You are going to LOVE the new colors they are rich and beautiful and work so well together with our existing colors. My eye is typically drawn to the softer shades, but our new 2014-2016 are rich and bold and I loved them the moment I saw them.

I know, I know you want to see them right? – quit talking about it and show me. LOL. Well here is my first card that I made using the NEW stamp set, Traveler.

Traveler Graduation (2)

When I saw this set I just fell in love with it. I’m not sure why because typically this set isn’t my style – but the ship in particular called my name. And what a great set to make cards for those men in our lives.

Traver Stamp Set image

I knew that the globe would make a perfect graduation card for my cousin’s twins, who are graduating this weekend. So I got started stamping quickly deciding to use two of our new In Colors, Mossy Meadow and Lost Lagoon. Don’t you just love the names and the images they conjure up?

Sweetest Gift

I’ve got baby on the brain. My nephew recently had his first child and although he had to be rushed into surgery, the little guys a trooper and he is doing well. But that has had me thinking baby stuff – so I thought I would share with you some of the baby cards that I’ve received in swaps.

This first card uses the retiring stamp set, Sweetest Gift (130583/130586) and is done in Pink Pirouette and Soft Sky giving it a very soft feel. Four different embossing folders were used on the Whisper White Card Stock to give it some added interest. Can you pick them out?

Sweetest Gift

There are two that are retiring, Petals-a-Plenty (116824) and Square lattice (119976) and then two that are going to be found in our 2014-2015 Annual Catalog, the Modern Mosaic (129984) and the Honeycomb folders (129378).

This next card uses two more retiring stamp sets, Baby Prints  and Cuddles & Kisses (131913/127314). It also uses the Pink Pirouette as a base, but then uses Coastal Cabana, Smoky Slate, and the retiring In Color Primrose Petal. I’m really going to miss the Primrose Petals Satin Stitched Ribbon (126844), I just love the way it ties.

Cuddles & Kisses

These last two cards use the Zoo Babies stamp set (130453/130456) a fun set that contains all kinds of animals. Isn’t the monkey cute?

Zoo Babies (2)

And if you look closely once again you’ll see our retiring Square Lattice Embossing Folder (119976). This embossing folder is one I reach for over and over again so I’m really going to miss it when it is gone and the Whisper White 1/4″ Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon (126877) is on the retirement list too.

And this cute little card uses our retiring Stripes Embossing Folder (123128) along with our yummy In Color 3/8″ Ruffle Stretch Trim.

Zoo Babies (1)

Birthday Card Contest Winner, Catalog Premiere & Project Life

Back in March I challenged you to participate in my Birthday Card Contest. It was simple all you had to do was mail me a card that you made using Stampin’ Up! products. Today I wanted to share with you some of the lovely cards I received and of course the winner!

First the cards –

2014 Birthday Card Contest (1)

Do you see our current Starburst Framelits (132967) and Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper Stack from the Occasions Catalog that Randy used to make this card?  And do you remember the name of the image used? If you guess, Punch Bunch from Sale-a-bration in 2011 give yourself a pat on the back!

2014 Birthday Card Contest (2)

Here is a card from Mary that uses our retired 5 Petal Flower Punch along with the current retiring Perfectly Penned stamp set (128703/122892).

2014 Birthday Card Contest (3)

And how about these birthday cards sent to me by some of my team members aren’t they lovely?

I love the Swallowtail stamp (131943/129216) and the way Janie used our retiring Scallop Trim Border Punch (118402).

Swallowtail

Or how about JoAnn’s Vivid Vases (133818) card – don’t you love the colors? I hope you can see the texture added by the paper piecing on this card.

Here is the inside – fun right?

And since I’m a coffee person Cindy made this great monochromatic card using the retired Morning Cup stamp set for me, combining the old with the new. Smoky Slate was one of my favorite colors introduced in the 2013 Catalog.

And now the lucky winner – drum roll please!  Randy will be receiving a cute birthday stamp set from my stash! Congratulation Randy, I’ll be sending you a email with details on how to get your free set.

2014 Catalog Premiere

Stampin’ Up! makes being a demonstrator sooo much fun and they treated us to an extra special event this year – a 2014 Catalog Premiere on Monday night. I wanted to share this with you Tuesday, but with all the excitement and lack of sleep I’m just getting back on track.

The premiere was held in theaters across the country and was a fun, high energy event with lots of fellowship and laughter. I thought I’d share some pictures for Monday with you.

Here is a group of us at the Cheese Factory for dinner before the premiere. The table was buzzing with conversation and excitement. It’s always a small world when you’re a demonstrator – Our table included our fellow stamping sisters from SINKS and the Stamp Divas teams along with my team, the Blue Mountain Stampers.

Catalog Premier 2014 (10)

That’s me in the back on the left and here is my part of my Team at the theater while we waiting for the event to begin.

Catalog Premier 2014 team

The excitement continued as the lights were dimmed and Shelly greeted us and teased us with our first glimpse of the Catalog Cover!

Catalog Premier 2014 Bonnie Thurber (4)

The night continued with the ever hilarious Bonnie Thurber, who was showing off her bling and getting side tracked with all the new wedding products! Hmm.. wonder why? (I’ll post more photos and details on my Facebook page today.)

Catalog Premiere Presenters (1)

The event continued with a star studded cast of Stampin’ Up! “celebrities”. You can tell these people love what they do!

Catalog Premiere Presenters (2) Catalog Premiere Presenters (3) Catalog Premiere Presenters (4)

Brian Pilling looked dapper in his black tux as he treated first Bonnie Thurber, then Shannon West, Carrie Cudney, and finally Donna Griffith with a special token he made for them with some of our new products along with their favorite snacks.

Prize Patrol is always one of the fun things that are part of Stampin’ Up! events and the Catalog Premiere was no different. I was soooo excited as my wrist band color was called and I got to take home a great new stamp set from the 2014-2015 Annual Catalog! I’d never won a Prize Patrol before! Stop by my Facebook page and to see what I won.

Sound like fun? If you’d like to join in the fun of being a demonstrator why not jcontact me today and join my team? I’d love to tell you all about the benefits of being part of my team. If you’d like more information click HERE to learn more about the Blue Mountain Stampers.

I can’t wait for you to see all the great new stamp sets, In Colors, and accessories! I don’t think you’re going to be disappointed and the layout is wonderful and full of inspiration. My catalog is already dog eared LOL!
