Stampin’ Up! has announced that they will be giving us a Retirement List for ALL of our catalogs. And today the Holiday Catalog List was announced – so you’ll want to check it out so that you can get the items on your wish list before they are gone.

Let’s get Spooky with the Seasonal Frame Thinlit Dies!

Today’s card that I created is a pretty quick and clean card – and I used the NEW Seasonal Frame Thinlit Dies (139658) found on page 40 of our NEW 2015 Holiday Catalog. This set of framelits comes with 8 dies! Yep, and it’ll take you though the holiday season with pizzazz.

Just add your favorite Designer Series Papers, such as I’ve done with the Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper (139584) for Halloween. I couldn’t using resist these cute little ghosts to create a fun Halloween card to tuck inside a little treat for someone special.

And these new seasonal sentiments are quick and easy to add to any project when you use our Fine Tip Glue Pen (138309) found on page 43 of the Holiday Catalog.

On a personal note as some of you already know, Kaitlin was diagnosed with bilateral stress fractures in her legs August 18th and is now in a wheel chair for at least 6 to 8 weeks.

Kaitlin has been a real trooper about it all and has been very positive when facing the challenges of dorm life and College, however it’s also been a huge hurdle for her since she is used to being very active with school and work. I know in particular, not being able to work with the Baldwin High School for the marching season is pretty tough, since it is her passion and she has enjoys working with the staff and students and helping them learn.

It’s been wonderful that her professors in the music department have been so supportive and great to her along with her classmates. We’re counting ourselves extremely blessed that she has such a wonderful group of friends to help her get around college so she could continue school this fall. As you can imagine, it helps me sleep at night to know that they are there.

This photo was taken of Kaitlin & Larry the first day in the chair and after we got the braces fitted on Friday the 21st. (She doesn’t yet have on her very “snazzy” over-sized white Velcro shoes to finish the outfit, so she could her shoes on by herself. (It’s a good thing she has a great sense of humor about things – She and her friends are already thinking about Star Wars themed group costumes for Halloween, she’s planning on being the storm trooper. LOL I can’t wait to see what they end up doing together.)

I hope to be back sharing with you again daily now that I’ve gotten our daughter settled and she is adapting to life on campus.

Are you ready for the NEW Stampin’ Up! 2015-2016 Annual Catalog that kicks off tomorrow? Are you ready to see some of the new products? Well check out these two cards I made using the NEW 2015 In Colors – I think you’re going to love them!

Sprinkles of Life (139971) is our 2015 Ronald McDonald House stamp set. What is great about that? Well for each stamp set you purchase Stampin’ Up! donates $3 to the Ronald McDonald House AND you get this great set!

Can you see the dimension to the ice cream cone? Well that was created using the NEW Tree Builder Punch (139971) that coordinates with the Sprinkles of Life stamp set. Cool right? And who doesn’t love a punch! The Birthday Bash Specialty Designer Series Paper (137783) add a touch of interest too and will be gone after tomorrow.

I’ve used three of the five new 2015 – 2017 In Colors on this card – Cucumber Crush , Watermelon Wonder, and Tip Top Taupe. Oh, how I love saying that last color…. it’s just fun to say. Try it … Tip Top Taupe, it just rolls off the tongue! And I think you’ll fall in love with the warm brown too when you see it just like I’ve have.

Want to see more? Well my next card has a totally different look and it uses the soft Mint Macron from the 2015 In Color Collection. I think this color will be great for creating a vintage look.

I’ve used the new Mint Macron Dotted Lace Trim (138428) and the fantastic 2015 In Color Blossom Accents (138383) along with some pearls and the Typeset Specialty Paper (133704) to create this card. And I think the sentiment from the Feel Goods stamp set (129681/131916) makes this a great card for a any young lady who is graduating this month.
