Lift Me Up

The Lift Me Up bundle of products is a lot of fun to work with – and who doesn’t smile when they see a hot air balloon? Here in North Georgia we have an annual hot air balloon race. The competitors take off from Helen and vie to be the first one to cross Interstate 95 (the finish line) anywhere from Maine to Miami. The shortest distance for the race is 225 miles. However, the balloons can only travel where the winds aloft take them. I can tell you it’s a colorful sight to see!

The Lift Me Up stamp set also comes with the option of coordinating Thinlits Dies which allow you to make stunning focal points – check out these cards that I was given in a recent swap.

Since the set includes all occasions sentiments you’re sure to find something you like. Here is a card from Anne – clean and simple, but I love the color combination.

I need a card for a guy friend who was recently in the hospital and I think this card will be perfect! What do you think?

Cool Treats

The Cool Treats suite of products is a lot of fun, after all who doesn’t like ice cream? Check out these fun cards I received in my recent swap using this set – perfect for all kinds of occasions!

Cara used the not only the Sprinkles Embellishments to make this card fun, but she also used one of our Ombre pads.

This next card was given to me by Jolene. I really love the way she used the Frozen Treats Framelits Dies to create the focal point on this card.

And isn’t that little spoon too adorable cut from our Silver Foil Sheets (132178)?

And this final card from Sandy uses our Tasty Treats Specialty Designer Series Paper – 12 fun patterns to choose from! And did you know that 2 of the sheets have a clear glossy coating over the design? Fun, right?

I love soft colors and the Falling in Love Suite found on page 50 in the Occasions Catalog is filled with wonderful soft colors perfect for spring and Easter. And don’t you love the Bokeh effect the Falling In Love Designer Series Paper pack contains?

This first card uses the NEW two sided Lace Doilies. I love the fact that they are Very Vanilla on one side and Whisper White on the other – it gives us a lot of options since you can use sponge, Stampin’ Spritzers, or even our Sponge Brayers to add color the Whisper White side in any color you’d like or just use it as it is like Gina did!

And here is a soft romantic card perfect for a special occasion. Jackie used the lace pattern to create a wonderful wedding card and have you seen the So In Love Bundle (144738/144739) of products?

Who doesn’t love a stamp set that coordinates with Thinlits? The So Detailed Thinliets Dies (142751) contain 3 wonderful choices that make a card extra special but sooo easy to do!

And if you haven’t seen the Falling In Love Embellishments (142791) once you see them you’ll definitely want them! They are wonderful and add a special touch to your project.

Winter Weekend Retreat & More

This past weekend I held my Annual Winter Weekend retreat for my team – a fun weekend of fun, fellowship and stamping, of course. Today I thought I’d share some pictures we took during the 3 day event.

This first one is our team name tags for the tables and an extra special little goodie bag.

The bag contained these wonderful Team Aprons.

Here is our team photo from the retreat. I feel so blessed – they are the best team members!

We always have a Shoe box Swap on Saturday and so today I thought I’d share with you some of the wonderful cards everyone designed for the swap.

This first card is Cindy’s – I just love the way that she used the Urban Underground Designer Series Paper. A great use of this paper since it is so masculine at first glance.

And how about this card Mary made using the Oh So Succulent stamp set (142992) and coordinating Framelits Dies (142757).

And this soft and lovely card that Deborah brought was made using the Avant Garden stamp set (143272) from the Sale-a-bration Catalog. This set is is just one of the FREE items you earn a Sale-a-bration item with a minimum $50 purchase.

Melanie designed this fun Valentine card using the Sealed with Love stamp set (142815) and coordinating Love Notes Framelits Dies (142752).

I love sparkle – So this fun card from Marni using the Balloon Adventures stamp set (14823) and Balloon Pop-up Thinlits Dies (142753) fills the bill and is so classic too with it’s color choice.

And this final card that Anna made is bright and cheerful – It used the really cool Celebrations Duo Embossing Folder (142760).

It’s so quick and easy to create this card with the debossed impression folders – just add some ink and voila!

Sealed with Love

Swaps and more! One of the fun things about being a stamper and a demonstrator is sharing what I love. And doing swaps are a of lot of fun since you can see different styles of stamping with the same stamp set. Sounds fun right?

I just finished my latest swap with my fellow demonstrators and was blown away with all the wonderful creativity. I can’t wait to share them with you, so over the next few weeks I’ll be sharing some along with some other projects too.

Today I’m sharing swaps with you made with the Sending Love Suite of products found on pages 14 & 15 in the 2017 Occasions Catalog. With Valentines Day just around the corner I thought it would be a good place to start.

This first card uses our Real Red Glitter Embossing Powder and Glimmer Paper – so it just sparkles!

Did you know that the Real Red Glitter Embossing Powder has carried over from our Holiday Catalog and that you can still get it if you missed out earlier? I was so excited that it did

Here is Lisa’s swap she also used the Love Notes Die set and the really cool border die – I love the way these little hearts pop out at you.

And this last card is from my team mate, Deborah. Deborah fell in love with these little envelopes immediately when she saw them at our Stampin’ Up! event, On Stage in November so it’s no surprise that they are the focal point of her card.

And finally some little love notes that I made – I really love all the cool pieces the Love Notes Framelits Dies include. As you can see the combination is endless with this great Bundle (144705).

2017 Occasions Catalog Organization 101

Whoo hoo! it’s here!!! Today’s the day the 2017 Occasions Catalog is up and you can order all your favorite goodies!!! Check out this quick fun card we made on Saturday during the Occasions Catalog Kick Off.

This card was created using the Balloon Adventures (142823) stamp set. I love that not only does it have a set of coordinating Thinlits Dies it also coordinates with out Balloon Bouquet Punch (140609) too.

And did you notice the yummy NEW Emerald Taffeta Ribbon (142742)? The narrow ribbon with it’s trimmed edges really pops! You can see all the items in the Party Animal Suite starting on page 4 of the Occasions Catalog.

It’s that time of year when I start to get really excited about the spring catalog that will go live tomorrow, January 4th. Cookie Cutter Christmas & Gingerbread Cookie Sugar Scrub

I love to make home made gifts and the Cookie Cutter Christmas bundle brought to mind the wonderful Gingerbread Cookie Sugar Scrub recipe I had. So here is what I whipped up for some family and friends.

I love the little wooden spoons I found since they can be stamped on.

Sugar scrubs are great for the winter and this one smells so yummy. My husband loves them for his hands and I actually use this scrub in the shower all over my body, hands, feet, legs, elbows – it is wonderful and moisturizes too. (Just make sure you are careful in the shower the scrub can make the floor slippery.)

I’m including the recipe below for you in case you’d like to make some last minute gifts too!

Gingerbread Cookie Sugar Scrub

1 c. brown sugar

1 c. sugar

1 c. vegetable oil

2 tsp. cinnamon

2 tsp. nutmeg

2 tsp. ginger

2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice

3 drops Vanilla extract

Mix well and place in a tightly sealed container such as a mason jar.

This keeps well in a cool place for weeks!

Today I also wanted to share some of the wonderful hand stamped cards that I’ve received for Christmas from friends – I can’t pick a favorite they are all so wonderful!

Jolly Friends & more

Today’s projects are some that were given to me at our Team Christmas Party. I love the way Cindy and Deborah used the Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper Stack (141991). The rich plaid patterns in this stack are perfect for guy cards and they evoke a warm cozy feeling for winter. Reminders of childhood for me I suppose and those cold Wisconsin winters LOL! I digress so without further ado – here are the projects.

This first one Deborah made using the Jolly Friends stamp set (142112) and Jolly Hat Builder Punch (141847) that are part of the Year End Sale! and Holiday Catalog Retirement List.

The little bag that she made out of our Kraft Cardstock (133674) is heavy weight and durable – so you can stuff it full of chocolate! (Or what ever little goodie you’d like.) Deborah found the most adorable Hershey’s Kisses that looked like Santa’s Hat at Target! I had to stop and get me some of those – just right for my husband Larry. LOL!

And this little mini Hershey’s bar is a perfect little something to spread a little holiday cheer.

Cindy wrapped the chocolate and added some boughs from the Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies (141851) added a touch of the 5/8″ Burlap Ribbon (141487) and tie it up with a 5/8″ Organza Ribbon (114319) bow !

And finally this beautiful watercolor card that Cindy shared with us uses the S unshine Sayings Bundle (142338/142339) found in the Annual Catalog on page 97.
