But it is super simple to create the box since the panel buts right up to the score line. Simply score the 11″ x 4 1/4″ base at 1 1/2, 3, 4 1/2 and 6 and decorate! And it folds flat too so it is great for mailing as it fits into our standard envelope.

I didn’t get to share my weekly tutorial with you on Friday so I thought I’d share it with you today. My friendship card today uses the Sale-a-bration stamp Friendly Seagulls stamp set (Sale-a-bration 164961) and is one of the items you can earn for FREE during February.
Can you hear the sounds of the waves and sea gulls? I’d dreaming of warmer temperatures now that we have hit the high 60s for a couple of days!

This card also uses a card sketch that you can use to inspire you when creating. So today I’m sharing the Sketch for your Sketch Ring or Book if you don’t have it already.

This 6×6 paper stack comes in fun colors and is bright and cheerful. Check out these cards that show off this paper.
This first card uses simple stamping and a fun fold to show off the Designer Series Paper. The card base is your typically one but the front of the card has been scored at the 2 1/4″ mark and folds back on itself with a panel of paper attached. And small strip of polka dot paper is adhered to the card front beneath it. The stamped panel is attached to the front and the top punched mushroom adds another shade and a bit of depth to the card. The Adhesive Backed Dragonfly & Birds (Online Exclusive 162743) add a bit of shine and whimsy to the card. Or how about this next card this next card?
This next card done in Pretty in Pink and Melon Mambo and strips of the Designer Series Paper uses the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder (164049) to give the card texture in the background
A simple layer black that has been punched is layered behind the sentiment and a few of the Sunny Day Iridescent Dots (164696) add a fun pop of color and shimmer.

Aren’t these little animals cute? They remind me of my son when he was little he loved reading about Peter and his adventures. I think it was Mr. McGregor’s garden that caught his attention at first in the video version since he loves anything to do with plants and working in the soil, always has.
Today’s card uses the baby sentiment, but this set contains some great all occasions sentiments along with Easter too making is a great set for spring.
The stamped image has been stamped and colored in Stampin’ Blends and the lovely detailed Dies have been used to frame it. And of course the Timeless Plaid 6×6 Designer Series Paper (164678) with it’s soft colors is perfect for this card don’t you think?

Today’s card use the Faith Collection Bundle (Online Exclusives 164796) that is found there.
The cross has been die cut using Pecan pie and places on the stamped die cut image. The sky sets a beautiful sunrise backdrop and a few Adhesive Backed Trio Pearls (163319) add a bit of shine and texture.
This next card uses the same images but has a less dramatic spring feel to it
with it’s softer color pallet. Done in Old Olive and Daffodil Delight it uses the Floral Delight Designer Series Paper (164700). Old Olive has been used for the palms and has been stamped off to create a lighter shade of green behind the cross. A bit of Daffodil Delight 1/8″ Satin Ribbon (164715) is draped across the cross that has been die cut in Pecan Pie and uses both the solid and detailed die. A bit of sponging on the detailed layer gives it more depth. And those cut little dots that add a bit of shine come from the Glossy Dots Assortment (158827).

Today’s cards all use the With You In Mind stamp set (164747). This stamp set is one of our stand along sets from our January – April Mini and you can find it on page 18.
Sets like this are great to add to your collection or for beginner stampers since they have all occasion sentiment and images. This set uses a particularly lovely mix of fonts and bigger sentiments that make wonderful focal points. Check out todays cards using this set.
This first card teams up the sentiment with punches and adds a bit of texture with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder (164049) and Antique Pearls (164679). Simple stamping and a bit of sponging around the sentiment that has been popped up adds a bit more interest.
this next card is stamped in Calypso Coral and Boho Blue and adds some Earth Tones Shimmer Gems (164070) to the center of the flowers.
Again a bit of color around the sentiment panel softens the edge. And finally a birthday card.
Simple stamping in Wild Wheat was used for the sentiment and the simple stamp off technique done in Cajun Craze gives us 3 tones of the same color for the cupcakes. the strips of Designer Series Paper on a diagonal add a bit of interest and whimsy and pulls all the colors together. A great quick and easy card with lots of interest and perfect for a winter birthday.
All these cards have been teamed up with the Timeless Plaid 6×6 Designer Series Paper (164678) also found in the Mini that includes a great selection of plaids in soft colors. If you haven’t checked it out you’ll be sure to want to since these patterns are great for both men and women and folks of all ages.
