Bee My Valentine

Last Thursday I shared with you a wonderful thank you card using the Bee My Valentine stamp set (162457). Today I thought I’d share some cards that use some untraditional colors to send a love message.

Our first card today is a monochromatic one done in the color, Darling Ducking which is one of our 2025-2027 In Colors and uses a fun fold.

It uses simple stamping and a couple of score lines 2 3/4″ from each end to create a lovely card making it perfect for someone just starting out building their supplies.

This next card also uses the set but takes it a different direction

with a fun easel card. Done in Crushed Curry, Crumb Cake and Early Espresso.

The background for this easel card has been stepped up with the Soft Waves 3D Embossing Folder (164695) and some fussy cutting. Once again the lovely 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls (165192) have been used to add a bit of shine.

And finally this lovely Floating Vertical Bandstand Pop Up Card done in Lemon Lolly and Poppy Parade.

This card folds down flat for mailing. And isn’t the little thought bubble cute? It is actually the same punch being used for the body of the bee. The Lemon Lolly panels have been dry embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder (161600) to add some texture and the Drusty Embellishments (164223) not only add shine but some wonderful texture too.

You’re as sweet as honey!

Do you ever mix and match your supplies? I know I do especially when I need a fun sentiment to go on a project that I’m working on.

Today’s card is a fun thank you card using a mix of old and new products that uses a simple card layout that highlights the New Florals in Bloom Designer Series Paper (165175).

This paper is part of the Florals in Bloom Suite (165193) that I’ve been sharing with you. The paper is cheerful and perfect for creating with the In Colors and teaming up the old and new.

This paper draws me in with it’s lovely images and colors and today’s card layout makes it shine. The sentiment while from the Bee My Valentine stamp set (162457) works wonderfully with this paper for a thank you card that has a wonderful bright and cheerful feel to it.

Monochromatic Pretty Florals

Today’s card just like yesterdays uses the Pretty Florals Bundle (165179), however this time the card is Monochromatic and focuses on the bright and cheerful In Color, Strawberry Slush.

Have you noticed seeing this color when you are out and about? This cheery color brings a smile to ones face or at least it does for me.

While this card still uses simple stamping it has been stepped up a bit with dies. The background uses the out line image with tone on tone stamping to create interest on the first layer. The Impressions Abloom Dies (Online Exclusive 165610) has this great oval in the set that creates the panel for the stamping of the flowers. The flowers have been stamped with an easy stamp off technique to create a softer solid image before the 2 step detail image has been stamped. And the third layer includes the die cut flowers created with the Pretty Florals Dies (165178) and sentiment.

A few of those flat pearls have been used, this time the Antique Pearls (164679) also found in our Annual Catalog. A very elegant option.

Lots of Love with the Pretty Florals

Today I’m highlighting a card that has been created with our 2025-2027 In Colors and the products found in the Florals in Bloom Suite (165193) since these products are part of our In Color promotion this month.

This card uses simple stamping with our two step stamp Pretty Florals Stamp set (165177) which is an image only set. It teams up our Strawberry Slush and Garden Green Classic Inks for the image and sentiment set, Delightful Wishes Stamp set (164701). And if you haven’t already seen these 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls (165192) you need to get some, not only do they have a beautiful pearlized finish they come in all 5 In Colors and are quite striking in person.

Thinking of You Note Card Tutorial

Basic White Note Cards (159232), I love the fact that these little cards a handy to create and have on hand. And since they come with both the card base and envelope they are a great way to create since you’ve got the basics. Add a stamp set, ink and card stock and get started.

Today’s card uses the lovely image sent Pretty Florals Stamp set (165177) and a wonderful sentiment set, The Right Words stamp set (165316). These two have been some of my favorites to work with from the 2025 Annual Catalog.

The Right Words stamp set (165316) contains all occasions sentiments so it’s a great way to get started stamping too.

This card was done in our 2025-2027 In Colors, Darling Duckling and Secret Sea that are part of our August promotion. I’ve teamed up the Darling Duckling with our Garden Green Classic Ink which will work lovely will all the new In Colors.

Sweet Blooms

I love sentiment sets that can be used year round that a big and bold. The Sweet Blooms Stamp set (165181) doesn’t disappoint and it has a set of fun coordinating dies too.

Today’s card uses the the stamp set with it’s lovely sentiment along with some other products in the Florals in Bloom Suite (165193).

And great news, this Suite uses our 2025-2027 In Colors so it’s part of this month’s sale. The Florals in Bloom Designer Series Paper (165175) has some beautiful floral images on one side and great patterns on the back. The color combinations just make me smile – after all how can you not smile with these bright cheerful colors?

The 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls (165192) are a very popular product. So if they aren’t in stock when you go to order, did you know you can ask the system to let you know when they are back in? The other accessory used is our Basic Beige 3/8″ Classic Ribbon (165216). This ribbon is a great neutral that ties easily and has a soft texture to it so it goes well with a project like this.

Encircled with Love

Do you love quick and easy cards and punches? If so the Encircled with Love Stamp Set (165338) might be just the thing you are looking for.

This stamp set has some wonderful all occasion sentiments for year round use AND it coordinates with the 1 7/8″ Circle Punch (165259) making it a easy way to create!

Today’s card uses this fun set along with the 2025-2027 In Colors and Florals in Bloom Designer Series Paper (165175) to set the color pallet which is a easy way to do that when your first learning to stamp.

This card also highlights the way these colors (Secret Sea, Strawberry Slush, and Cloud Cover) work so well together, so if you are a beginning stamper it is a wonderful way to start building your color collection.

A bit of texture was added to the background with the Soft Waves 3D Embossing Folder (164695) and a bit of shine by adding a few Rhinestones Basic Jewels (144220). Rhinestones are another wonderful versatile products that can be used all kinds of ways.

Impressions Abloom Appreciation Card Tutorial

It’s Friday and I’ve got a bright cheerful card using the 2025-2027 In Colors and one of our Suites, the Floral Impressions Suite (Online Exclusive 165617).

This Suite is filled with wonderful sentiments and floral images and has some fun accessories too. And this Suite is part of our June BOGO promotion too.

Here is the card I created with the just the Impressions Abloom stamp set (Online Exclusive 165605) as I couldn’t resist using the NEW In Colors. They are so bright and cheerful and work well together!

Do you ever do that? Love to use a new color and can’t wait to create? I find I do each time we have a new group of In Colors, they always inspire me.
