Silly Safari Thank You Card

Today’s card is quick and easy and uses my Card Sketch #13 along with the Silly Safari Stamp set (165254).

While this set is part of a money saving bundle and includes a circle punch I’m only using the stamp set for this card.

Bright and cheerful it’s perfect any time of year and of course who doesn’t love a giraffe? Do you ever stamp onto your Designer Series Papers? Check out the upper panel of Darling Duckling Designer Series Paper that I’ve used for this card. It’s added not only color and texture to the top of this card but also a great backdrop for the foliage I’ve stamped too! Why not give it a try?

Here is my video tutorial for you and a PDF with the supplies, step by step directions, and even the video link so everything is in one place when you are ready to craft.

I’ve been sharing them with you for a while and if you’d like to make them as a reference for you’re crafting too I’ve got a hand PDF that gives you the measurements and more. Put them on a ring or make this little crate I’ve shared with you to keep them on your desk and have them at your finger tips.

Use the color combinations listed on the PDF and you will have a reference for color combos too!

Fun Silly Safari Fun Pocket Card

I love a fun little way to create interest in cards and this little angled pocket card base does just that using the Silly Safari Stamp set (165254).

This cute little card uses a 2″ Circle Punch (Online Exclusive 133782) and 1 3/4″ Circle Punch (Online Exclusive 119850) to highlight the image. It uses this layered focal point that has been raised with Stampin’ Dimensionals to hold the card insert in place. The Boho Vibes Designer Series Paper (165144) not only feels kind of whimsical it adds color and interest too.

The Cloud Cover 3/8″ Faux Linen Ribbon (165271) adds some texture too.

Who wouldn’t love getting this card? And cutting this angle to create the pocket is super easy – simply score the card base at 5 1/2″ like normal, then place the score line on your trimmer and cut from the score line to outside edge of the card stock. Yep, it’s that easy!

Happy Place

Do you have a happy place? I know mine is the beach and listening to the waves roll in. Or maybe you need a retirement card? The Happy Place stamp set (165966) might be just what you need for card making and even scrapbooking with it’s bold senitments.

The topical feel is built into the word happy for you. Check out today’s card using the set. This first one if bright and cheerful and uses the Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper (165586)

which sets the color pallet. The sentiment has been stamped using Strawberry Slush and a bit of Darling Duckling and Strawberry Slush 3/8″ Faux Linen Ribbon add some texture along the Rhinestone Jewel. You can feel the fun!

And this next card uses a more muted color pallet and allows the Happy to shine.

Color has been added to the stamp using Sponge Daubers (133773) along with Blueberry Bushel, Calypso Coral, Gorgeous Grape, and Secret Sea Classic Inks. Sponge Daubers are great to add color exactly where you want it since they give you more control making this technique quick and simple. Just make sure to start with the lightest color first and end with the darkest color last so you don’t contaminate your ink pad.

A bit of Linen Thread (104199) tied into a knot gives it a nautical tough, while the leaves on the card front from the Silly Safari Stamp set (165254) adds to the tropical image of the sentiment.

Monochromatic or filled with color – the choice is yours when you’re stamping! Part of what I love about stamping is the fact the same images can feel so different based on the choices you make when crafting. How about you? What do you love about paper crafting?

Silly Safari Go Wild Card Tutorial

My daughter loves the zoo and always has. When traveling she tries to visit the local zoo or one on the way to her destination. So when I saw the Silly Safari Bundle (165260) in the 2025 Annual Catalog I just knew it was one I had to have!

So for today’s card I’ve used one of my Card Sketches and the sweet little leopard image.

I’ve used my Stampin’ Blends to color him so that I’ve got a bold cheerful look as I teamed up the image with one of the NEW patterns found in the Brights Designer Series Paper Assortment (165301).

Here is a quick video tutorial showing how I created this card along with the PDF which contains a complete supply list, link, measurements and more.
