Quiet Meadow

The name and images of the Quiet Meadow Bundle makes me think of my childhood and walking through the fields and meadows around my childhood home. Flowers of all kinds, milkweed pods and even Monarch Butterflies came and went through the seasons. My father wanted to have a tree farm and so had bought a large piece of property out in the country with a creek that ran through it. Our home sat on the farthest corner of the property up on a hill, the only spot really out of the flood plain. But that creek made the area rich with black soil and the perfect place to plant his trees on the other side of the property. Unfortunately my father passed before realizing his dream, but those wonderful childhood memories remain.

The Quiet Meadow Bundle includes both images in detail and silhouette.

It also contains some heartfelt sentiments for you too. Check out these wonderful cards made with this set. These first two use our new In Colors and create a lovely monochromatic card using silhouette images.

The butterfly was cut out of our beautiful Pale Papaya, In Color Shimmer Vellum (155616). If you haven’t seen this Shimmer Vellum in person it is simply beautiful with it’s translucent shimmer. Speaking of which, this next card adds the Fresh Freesia Shimmer Vellum to create an over lay of the collage background on this next card.

And how about a fun fold? This next card uses the Hand Penned Designer Series Paper (155499) to create this soft and lovely floral card.

And this next card uses our Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper (155807) and creates a shadow effect with the dies on this opening flap by cutting a second image out of our Evening Evergreen Card stock and just off setting the image a bit.

It contains a lovely little surprise when open with the Shimmer Vellum butterfly.

And last but not least here is a quick and easy 3d project, using the dies and a bit of sponging.

This sweet little note pad uses the inspiring sentiment from the Hand Penned Stamp set (155070) along with the coordinating Hand Penned Designer Series Paper (155499) to inspire the color choices.

Plentiful Plants

Yesterday I shared with you a fun bundle called Welcoming Window and so today I thought I’d share another great set that’s all about plants, the Plentiful Plants Bundle (155688).

This bundle is all about the plants and has a wonderful collection of coordinating products that go with it. You can get them all in one easy to order Suite, Bloom Where You’re Planted making creating quick and simple. This first card uses the wonderful Paper Lattice (155697) to highlight the fun book end fold for this card.

I just love the bright pop of Melon Mambo to draw your attention to the sentiment. And this next card uses the Bloom Where You’re Planted Designer Series Paper (155696) as a back drop for these lovely plants. The sentiment is pulled from another set and uses the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch (152883) to highlight it along with the Genial Gems (155500). You’ll find yourself reaching for these gems over and over with their soft shades and sprinkle of gold.

And if you are wondering about the Baker’s Twine it’s from our Essential Pack (155475) which contains 4 colors for your crafting needs. And if you love the plant hanger why not check out our NEW Macrame 3D Embossing Folder (155435)? I’m probably dating myself, but when I think of hanging plants I think of macrame, lol. What’s Cookin’ this summer?

I don’t know about you but the last couple of weeks I’ve been busy in the kitchen putting up those fresh garden vegetables and trying new recipes with them too. Some have been a hit and some not so much, but that is the way it goes right? For those of you who love being in the kitchen creating great dishes we’ve got a great new bundle for you.

Check out these fun cards using this bundle of products the choices are endless! I love the bold background for this first card. Do you recognize it? It’s the Macramé 3D Embossing Folder (155435) creating all that texture.

And how about the classic apron? I remember so well spending time with my Grandmother who always had an apron handy for me. After she was gone I wore those aprons for years as I worked by myself baking, a fond remembrance of my youth and those times we spent together. This apron was created by using the Basic Borders Die (155558) simply by starting with the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper (Host 155426) and cutting one side with the die and then the other.

The apron trim is also one of the dies that you’ll find in the set along with the table on this next card.

Bamboo Beauty

This stamp set is simply elegant and has some wonderful sentiments using a lovely font.

Not only does the Bamboo Beauty stamp set (155478) have great year round sentiments the images a quick and easy to work with too. Check out these lovely cards made using the set.

This first card is quick as easy when used with our new Soft Succulent Classic Ink (155778/155779) and teamed up with the 2021-2023 In Color Designer Series Paper stack (155641). And how about this next card?

The background has been first Spritzed (126185) with Pear Pizzazz and then images have been stamped using Just Jade, Pear Pizzazz and Gray Granite. A couple of Champagne Rhinestones add a bit of shine (151193) and the Baker’s Twine (155475) a bit of texture.

This next card teams up the Bamboo Beauty stamp set with the Watercolor Shapes stamp set (156968) to create this striking card.

And finally this breath taking card that uses an emboss resist technique for the back drop that has been stamped using the Stacked Stone Background stamp (152556).

Done in shades of Garden Green (147089/102059) it is simply elegant.

Stellar Birthday

With the space race in the news the last couple of weeks I thought I’d share some cards using the Stellar Birthday stamp set (154461) for our future little astronauts and the possibility of their one day reaching for the stars.

This set is filled with fun images and quirky sentiments.

Check out these cards made using the stamp set. This first card uses a fun using bleach.

The Night of Navy card stock back ground has been spritzed (126185) to create this two tone effect and then Clear Wink of Stella (141897) has been added to create some shimmer. Shimmery Crystal Effects (150892) has also been added to the face of the astronaut for a bit more shine and create a glass effect. This fun bleach technique creates different effects depending on what color card stock you start with making it a lot of fun. Why not give it a try?

This next card has some movement since it uses our fun new Give it a Whirl Dies (154336).

It creates the ability to show several different images on the wheel that you can whirl through

making it a lot of fun to create and receive.

If you haven’t seen these dies you’ll want to be sure to check them out since they are a great set of dies that can be used with lots of different stamp sets.

I really like the way that Stampin’ Up! has given these type of independent die sets in the 2021 Annual Catalog that can be used for all kinds of crafting needs.

Today’s cards all use the Party Puffin stamp set (155054). How can you resist this fun little guy and it’s great sentiments?
