Hang an Ornament & More

Christmas is next week and as we deck the halls I thought I’d share another set from our Holiday Mini. The Hang an Ornament Bundle (Last Chance 164090) consists of a stamp set (Last Chance 164282) and dies (Last Chance 164089).

Here are a couple of cards using this set. This first one uses a watercolor wash along with the dies to create a two tone panel done in watercolor paper.

It also has a fun pop up element to it

allowing the card to stamp on its own. And here is another card using the same Pretty Peacock and Lost Lagoon. It has a different feel to it as it uses the soft Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper (162133) for it’s back drop.

A few of the 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems (163781) and Basic Rhinestones Jewels (144220) add a touch of shine and texture to the project. And these next card uses the Season of Season of Elegance Suite (Last Chance 164030).

This first card uses the beautiful Season of Elegance Specialty Designer Series Paper (164144) and Gold Foil Sheets (132622). While this next card uses the negative image to highlight the lovely pattern of the die cut tree.

Wondering about the star? It is cut from a piece of our 2024-2026 In Color Glimmer Specialty Paper (163771)!

Peach Pie & More

Today is the final day of my sharing monochromatic cards using the 5 In Colors for 2024. Each of these colors is earning a place in my heart with their clear, clean colors that have a subtle feel but are bold at the same time.

Check out these two cards using this fun color.

This first card uses blocks of our 2024-2026 In Color Designer Series Paper (163777) to create a diamond shape for the sentiment found in the Unbounded Love Stamp set (163378). A little bit of Peach Pie 3/8″ Bordered Ribbon (163783) has been tied into a simple know and adds a nice touch below the sentiment. I think you’ll enjoy this soft ribbon that ties so well for projects like this.

And how about this card using the Cheerful Daisies stamp set (161290) and simple stamping?

Once again the Peach Pie 3/8″ Bordered Ribbon (163783) has been used to add a bit of texture and draw your eye to the sentiment. The fun little 2024-2026 In Color Glimmer Specialty Paper (163771) are something you’ll definitely be wanting to add to your order. They add a lovely bit of shimmer to all kinds of projects and come in all 5 of our 2024-2026 In Colors!

And finally my weekly tutorial – this card uses the Peach Pie and Shy Shamrock to create this lovely card.

I’ve used the same Sketch that we used for our OnStage After Hours in Houston for this card and simply changed it up. You can click HERE or on the sketch to see more about that card and get the PDF to add to your collection!

Here is my Video Tutorial that I did for you showing you how I created this card using a simple water color technique using our Water Painters (126185).

And of course a PDF Tutorial that includes measurements, supply list and the YouTube link so you’re ready to create when you want to!

Petunia Pop’s Unbounded Love

Have you seen the NEW 2024-2026 In Colors? Petunia Pop is one of our new colors, and as always shades of purple are extremely popular. This color is sure to please with it’s bright cheerful hue.

This card has a ton of texture since it uses products from the Unbounded Beauty Suite of Products (163390). The card’s background Basic White layer is dry embossed with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder (163414), the 2024-2026 In Color Designer Series Paper (163777) has four great patterns that are all shown here along with the wonderfully elegant 2024-2026 In Color Glimmer Specialty Paper (163771).

A bit more texture is added with a detailed die cut image from the Flowers of Beauty Dies (163375) and sentiment that has been cut out with the Unbounded Love Dies (163383) and popped up with our Stampin’ Dimensionals. While the layout is fairly simple the combination is quite striking.

Today’s card is another Monochromatic card and the 2024-2026 In Color Collection makes this a simple thing to do since we have assortment card stock packs, Designer Series Paper Stack, and Ink and Marker Bundles too!

So what do you think? Like the new Petunia Pop In Color? You can find all these colors and coordinating products in my Online Store.

Here’s my Citrus Blooms After Hour Card Tutorial

Today I’m going to share with you the final card I made using the Citrus Blooms Bundle (163295) OnStage in Houston during our After Hours event. It’s the third of the three cards that we made during the event with this lovely bundle.

This card is bold with it’s Petunia Pop base and Pecan Pie accents. It once again uses our Water Painters (151298) and the Fluid 100 5×7 Watercolor Paper (149612) to create a different look with the Pecan Pie stamped image and highlighting just the blooms.

You’ll need the following supplies to make this card.

Supplies:

Paper & More

Measurements:

  • Petunia Pop Card stock: Cut 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″; scored at 4 1/4″
  • Pecan Pie Card stock: Cut 3 1/2″ x 2 1/4″
  • Watercolor Paper: Cut 3 1/2″ x 2 1/4″
  • Pecan Pie Card stock: Cut 2 ” x 5/8″
  • 2024-2026 In color Shimmer Gems (Petunia Pop): 5 assorted

Assembly:

  1. stamp the small “diamond” image using Pecan Pie Classic Ink onto Pecan Pie panel randomly.
  2. Adhere the panel in the lower right hand corner of the card front about 1/2 – 3/4″ from the bottom ash shown.
  3. Next, stamp the “orange” image onto the Watercolor Paper using Pecan Pie Classic Ink.
  4. Stamp the sentiment “all the love” onto Pecan Pie Card stock strip using StazOn Jet BlackInk Pad.
  5. Using your Water Painter color the flower and bud images using Petunia Pop Classic Ink. Allow to dry. (I like to use a clear block as a pallet for my water coloring – simply tap the ink pad onto the clear block to add ink rather than squeezing your ink pad and using the lid)
  6. Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the watercolor image and adhere to the card front tilting it to the right as shown.
  7. Add a Stampin’ Dimensional to the left end of the sentiment and adhesive to the right and adhere to the card front so it is the same height as the water colored image.
  8. Finally stamp the inside sentiment and envelope as desired.

I hope you’ve enjoyed these quick and easy cards using this bundle that I’ve shared with you this week. This Stampin’ Up! event was so much fun that I’ll hope they’ll do it again at our next OnStage in North Carolina.

If you are enjoying these cards that I’ve shared with you this week from our OnStage After Hours Make n Takes you’ll want to be sure and check out the Mediterranean Blooms Suite (163300)

that not only has the Citrus Blooms Bundle (163295) that I used for these cards, but also some wonderful Designer Series Paper and accessories too!

Enjoy! and then stop back by for my regular Friday tutorial tomorrow that includes a video and PDF using the Spotlight on Nature stamp set.

Another OnStage After Hours Citrus Blooms Tutorial

Yesterday, I shared the lovely watercolor card I made at OnStage in Houston during our After Hours event. Today I’m sharing the second of the three cards.

I love the linear look this card has and the combination of the 2024-2026 In Colors together.

What do you think? Like the color combination too? I love the soft color behind the sentiment we created with our Small Blending Brushes (160518). Here is how we made this card.

You’ll need the following supplies to make this card.

Supplies:

Paper & More

Measurements:

  • Basic White Thick Card stock: Cut 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″; scored at 4 1/4″
  • Peach Pie Cards stock: Cut 1 3/8″ x 3 1/2″
  • Pretty in Pink Card stock: Cut 1 3/8″ x 3 1/2″
  • Petunia Pop Card stock: Cut 1 3/8″ x 3 1/2″
  • Basic White Card stock: Cut 5 1/4″ x 1″
  • Basic White Card stock: Cut 4 3/4″ x 5/8″
  • Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack (Very Vanilla): Cut 12″

Assembly:

  • Stamp the “orange” image onto Peach Pie Card stock using Peach Pie Classic Ink.
  • Stamp the “orange” image onto Pretty in Pink Card stock using Pretty in Pink Classic Ink.
  • Stamp the “orange” image onto Petunia Pop Card stock using Petunia Pop Classic Ink.
  • Adhere the 3 panels to the card front. Adhere the Pretty in Pink panel down first in the center and then space out the other two panels evenly on the right and left sides.
  • Using your Blending Brush add color using Petunia Pop, Peach Pie, and Pretty in Pink onto 1″ strip of Basic White Card stock.
  • Then using Petunia Pop Classic Ink and “diamond” image stamp stamp several times at an diagonal across the center of the strip as shown.
  • Adhere the strip to the card front about 1 inch up from the bottom.
  • Tie the Very Vanilla Baker’s Twine into a large bow and adhere it to the card front. The sentiment from the next step will cover the adhesive.
  • Using your Paper Snips cut a banner onto the right and left ends of the Basic White Card stock strip.
  • Stamp the sentiment “all the love” onto the strip of Basic White on the right end using Peach Pie Classic Ink.
  • Using Stampin’ Dimensionals adhere the sentiment on the the card front.
  • Stamp the inside panel and envelope as desired.

That’s it. Then stop by tomorrow when I’ll be sharing the last card we made that night.

Enjoy!
