It’s from the Fabulous Phrases Stamp Set (128577/120501) which is retiring. This set gives you so many choices to choose from to create just the right phrase that you’re looking for.

Betsy’s Blossoms is one of the fun sets that is retiring from the 2013 Catalog on June 4th. I’m going to miss this set with it’s bold images. If you’d like to see all the items on the Retirement List CLICK HERE.

I was sad to see some of my favorite Big Shot Accessories were on the Retirement  list this spring. One of my favorites is the Card Base Pop ‘n Cuts Die (130099). I have had so much fun creating cards and gift items with this collection of dies and framelits and I’ve created a number of different video tutorials using them.

So today here are some of my favorite projects made with Big Shot Dies and Framelits along with some of our retiring stamp sets.

Bon Voyage Post It Note Holders

As promised in yesterday post I’ll be sharing how I made these cute little Bon Voyage Post It Note Holders with you today. A friend of mine showed me how to make these little holders during one of our demonstrator events. I thought they were just too cute so I was excited when I ran across them and decided to use them as my little gift to everyone who attended. After all who doesn’t need Post It Notes right?

Bon Voyage Post it Note Holder

I think these little Bon Voyage Post It Note Holders are sooo cute that not only am I using them for the Retirement Party but also as little gifts to my daughters friends who will be attending her graduation party – I thought the little piece of luggage was in keeping with them heading off to college too since they’ll be heading off to a new adventure in life.

I created these little Bon Voyage Post It Note Holders using some of our current retiring products. I chose Lucky Limeade card stock (item 122926) and my favorite Designer Series Paper, Floral District (item 126919). I love the colors in this Designer Series Paper; it’s just so bright and cheerful. Did you see the little tags? I used the Fabulous Phrases Stamp Set (item 117002/120501) and chose the words enjoy and life to stamp the two little tags with. I’m really like this stamp set, it gives you such great choices to create all kind of phrases.

Paper Hearts Video Tutorial

Are you ready for Valentine’s Day? I’m almost ready and since Valentine’s Day is just a few days away I wanted to share my video tutorial with you for these cute little Paper Hearts. I made these Paper Hearts to hang in the windows of my house. I think you’re going to have fun making them too – but be careful they’re so quick and easy they are addicting!

Here are 3 of the Paper Hearts that I made on Saturday.

Paper Hearts group

As you can see I made my Paper Hearts in 2 different sizes and I used the Hearts a Flutter Bundle (item 131098/131097) to create the spinning heart in the center. Can you see the word love stamped on the center of the larger heart? (You can check out the close up below for a better view.) I used the stamp set Fabulous Phrases to stamp the word love on one side, and the word you on the other side, so when it spins it says “Love You”.

Fabulous Phrases (item 117002/120501) is one of those stamp sets I use all the time since it is such a pretty font and it contains 30 stamps that you can make all kind of different phrases with! (Want to see some of the combinations you can make with this set? Click HERE for a PDF and then see how many more you can make!)

Paper Hearts large

Isn’t that fun? I can’t decide which one I like best since I just love the delicate scalloped heart image from the Hearts a Flutter stamp set, it reminds me of my Grandma for some reason. Why not leave me a comment below and let me know which Paper Heart you like the best.

Would you like to know how I made these Paper Hearts? Well why not check out my Paper Hearts Video Tutorial.
