Team Shoe Box Fun & More

Last week I shared with you one of our projects from our December Team Luncheon and so today I wanted to share the lovely Shoe Box projects that everyone brought with them to share. There was a wide variety of projects which is what makes a shoe box swap so much fun!

This first card is a special Gift Box in a Card that uses our Eden’s Garden Collection (160849).

I just love the little message that was included with the card for the back.

What a great way to send virtual hugs. I know I’ll be making more of these myself to share with you soon.

Next a fun fold – this fun card uses the Friends are Like Seashells stamp set (158203) and it’s coordinating dies (156095) along with the fun Seashells 3D Embossing Folder (154309) that adds texture to the shells too. If you haven’t seen this Bundle (159516) and love anything beach themed you’ll want to be sure to check it out (page 27 of the Annual Catalog).

A card made with the lovely Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper (155841) and some of our dies along with the sentiment from the Shaded Summer stamp set (155783).

Texture has also been added with our Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder (154317) and lovely Evening Evergreen 3/8″ Chevron Weave Ribbon (155722). and need a birthday card? This next card has tons of appeal with it’s rich look using the Expressions in Ink Designer Series Paper (155464) and Gold Foil (132622).

And last but not least a sneak peek from the upcoming MINI and Sale-a-bration products. This last card uses the Sale-a-bration stamp set, Friendly Hello (159990) and lovely Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper (158127). Both these items will be available to earn on January 4th with a qualifying order.

Sweet as a Peach Treat Tag, Team fun & more

How about some swaps, team time and a fun treat tutorial? Today I thought I’d share what we’ve been doing as a my group recently. I’ve got a great team and we have a lot of fun together when we gather each month, so I thought I’d share some of the groups swaps first. I’ll start with some of the Sale-a-bration cards.

this first card uses the lovely Feels like Home stamp set (Sale-a-bration 156607) and has been colored with our Watercolor Pencils (141709 & 149014) assortments for a softer look. And this next card was created using the Delicate Dahlia stamp set (Sale-a-bration 156601) and Merry Merlot for a bold look.

If you don’t recognize the polka dots it’s from the Beautifully Penned Designer Series Paper pack (Sale-a-bration 156630) which as you can see is quite versatile. A bit of fussy cutting and some Wink of Stella finish off this lovely card. And how about this big bold sunflower?

This card uses the Celebrate Sunflowers (152517) and the coordinating Sunflower Dies (152704) and it’s also a fun buckle card, the sentiment tucks into a punched slot behind the sunflower.

Not only do we do team meetings each month, but we also had a team retreat in August, so I thought I’d share a couple of the swaps from that today. This first project uses the Friends are Like Seashells Bundle (159516) and Seashells 3D Embossing Folder (154309).

And how about some pansy fun using the Pansy Petals Suite (155810)? A simple cutting technique creates this criss-cross pattern for the card front.

We also made a fun little box that was filled with some treats.

I really love this Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper (155807) and the fact you can cut tons of flowers out with the bundle’s dies and isn’t the little box adorable? Want to see more team fun? This month was our bi-annual Peak Princess event. What is that? It’s a special day filled with pampering that my team can earn. This time we made 3 special projects, won prizes and enjoyed a nice Hawaiian inspired luncheon together.

The pulled pork and Mango Salsa we had were a hit so I thought I’d share the recipes with you. The pulled pork is soooo easy with just 3 ingredients and you make in the crock pot too! And you may find the Mango Salsa addictive – eat it with chips, or you can add it on top of fish or shrimp taco too.

And as a little gift everyone received a charm for their lanyards that was placed in this cute Treat Tag marking this occasion.

Team Time Fun with the Mini & more

Yesterday was our monthly team meeting – we gathered, shared, and stamped together. So today I thought I’d share some of the wonderful projects that everyone has made. I’ll start with the New products from the Mini.

This first card uses the fun little Nuts about Squirrels stamp set (156475). These little guys are adorable.

The pop of color has been added with our Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper (155841). If you haven’t check out this pack of paper, you’ll want to – the colors and patterns are great for fall projects.

This stamp set is so adorable in fact I’ll be offering a card class soon using this set! Watch for more information coming soon. You can sign up my Newsletter email list so you’ll get the information right to your inbox.

And this next card was created with the Joyful Life (156529) found on page 63 of the Mini along with the Layering Circle Dies (151770).

The fun pattern paper is from our Gingerbread & Peppermint Designer Series Paper (156313) pack and is perfect for this project.

Love movement cards? Then you’ll enjoy this next card that uses the Give it a Whirl Dies (154336) along with the Great Tidings Bundle (156382) and is a definite wow card.

The die allows you to show more than just the one sentiment – an who doesn’t love movement cards?

The next few cards show off some of our wonderful nature inspired sets. This first card is monochromatic and is done in Pumpkin Pie. Quick and easy it uses our Daisy Garden Background stamp (155079) that has been teamed up with the sentiment from the Forever Fern stamp set (152559).

And how about this tent card that has been made using the Artistically Inked Bundle (155456)?

The Suite (155459) has wonderful gold foiling options too.

Soft and sweet this next card uses our Dandelion 3D Embossing folder (152953) and White Craft Ink to create this get well card.

It’s summer which always makes me think of the beach, so how about a card made with the Friends are Like Seashells stamp set (158203) for our next card?

Texture has been created for the backdrop using the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder (154309) and our Pearlescent Specialty Paper (154291). It’s simply elegant with all of it’s shimmer.

And last but not least an adorable little 3d box using the Party Puffins stamp set (155054) done in Polished Pink.

Highlight on our NEW 2021 In Color Polished Pink

If you are pink person you’re going to love Polished Pink with its deep hue.

I’ve got some Monochromatic cards for you today that are sure to please. This first card is not what you think of when you think pink – but it’s a great card showing off just how fun monochromatic cards can be. And the Polished Pink makes it perfect for giving a young lady as a graduation card.

The card uses our Friends are Like Seashells stamp set (158203) and Seashells 3D Embossing Folder (154309). The die cut image is from the Smooth Sailing Dies (149576). I just love how our products coordinate!

And this next card teams up the Polished Pink with Basic Gray.

A rich elegant combination of colors. This card uses the Hand-Penned Bundle (155492) found on page 105 of the Annual Catalog. The sentiment has been punched our using our Lovely Labels Pick a Punch (152883) and some pearls (144219) have been added on each end to accentuate the little flowers.

Friends are Like Seashells

I just love anything ocean themed so this Suite of Products was a must for me with its lovely coordinating products that can be used in all kinds of ways. I know you’ll want all of these fun products just like I did and you can get them either in the Suite Collection or purchase them separately making them a great choice. It’s why I chose it for my April Class there are just so many ways to use this suite of products!

Check out these lovely cards created with the products found in the Sand & Sea Suite Collection (155980).

The Flirty Flamingo background for this card creates a fun cheerful backdrop for the images and sentiment that has been stamped onto the Pearlescent Specialty Paper.

And you’re going to LOVE the 3D Embossing Folder this Suite has in it. A bit of color has been added to make the embossed images pop and create even more interest behind the sentiment and images.

This next card uses simple stamping to bring the sea to life. Done in Night of Navy and Crumb Cake with a pop of Flirty Flamingo.

The Well Suited Twine (154566) add a bit of texture to the background along with the pretty Opal Rounds (154289).

And how about this next card using heat embossing to make an impact.

The stamping and embossing is done on White Vellum then overlaid onto a piece of the Sand & Sea Designer Series Paper to add some texture Linen Twine was added underneath the popped up sentiment.

For a soft shimmer this last card uses the Pearlescent Specialty Paper that has been embossed with the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder. The pearlescent layer has been layered with Highland Heather and Sahara Sand.

Gold Embossing Powder was used for the sentiment panel and the gold cord is from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack (152475) along with the metallic Pearls (146282). Isn’t it great the way our products work together?

Team Time Highlight

Today I’m highlights birthday cards that my team members made for our January Team Meeting card swap. There is always such a great variety of styles. It’s a lot of fun to see what everyone is using from their stash.

This first card uses our lovely True Love Designer Series Paper (154281) and the Quite Curvy Bundle (156228) of products.

I really like how Cindy chose to color the Black & White True Love Designer Series Paper with our Petal Pink 154893) and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends (154890) to make it her own. And this next card combines products to coordinate together to create a lovely beach themed card.

The sponged background is stamped using the High Tide stamp set (143006) while Wanda used the Friends are Like Seashells Bundle (156205) for the foreground images and sentiment. I love the way the Cajun Craze shell is embossed with the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder (154309) and Clear Wink of Stella (141897) was added. Do you recognize the punch used for the sentiment? It’s the Story Label Punch (150076) found in our Annual Catalog. Mixing products and the coordination we have is one of the things I love about Stampin’ Up! and their products!

This next card is a fun fold called a Triple Fold Card. Sue uses the Forevery Greenery Designer Series Paper (152492) and Forever Gold Laser Cut (152493) to highlight the sentiment on the belly band from the Friend Like You stamp set (149237).

Inside there’s a bit of stamping too using the image from the Forever Fern stamp set (152559).

Shirley also chose the Forever Fern stamp set for her card. This card was stamped in Blackberry Bliss (147092) and Mossy Meadow Classic Inks (147111)

And the simple panel technique highlights the stamping.

For the last project I’m sharing today I have a beautiful curtain card using the free Sale-a-bration Designer Series Paper, Flower & Field (155223).
