Monochromatic Sweet Blooms

Today’s card is a monochromatic card using one of our new 2057-2027 In Colors, Secret Sea. This color in a deep, deep blue and a wonderful addition to our colors. I just love using it as a neutral on the things I’ve been creating.

This card uses the Sweet Blooms Dies (165186) and the sentiments to build it’s focal point. The Secret Sea Card stock panels have been dry embossed with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder (163414) for some added texture and a piece of white twine from the Baker’s Twine Essential Pack (155475) is wrapped around a couple of those panels and tied into a knot.

And of course for a bit of shine the 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls (165192) have been tucked into the left hand corner. You’re going to LOVE these two options for Flat Pearls with their iridescent sheen in all 10 In Colors.

Monochromatic cards are a great way to get started stamping. It’s how I started building my color collection when I first started stamping. I’d picked a favorite color, such as Secret Sea, and then each month purchased the ink pad, card stock pack, and one two accessories to go with it. It’s an easy way to get started creating.

And did you know that today’s Sweet Blooms Bundle (165186) is part of a Suite of products? The Florals in Bloom Suite (165193) can be found on page 40 – 47 of the Annual Catalog and also has Memory Keeping options that coordinate with it too.

Do you want it all? During June when you purchase a suite or products from a suite you’ll be able to take advantage of the BOGO 50% offer. So why not check out this Suite and others in my Online Store?

Monochromatic Year of Flowers

Do you love a monochromatic card? I know I do. When I began stamping this was a great way of creating cards with limited supplies. And our In Colors both are great to start with since there are only 5 colors in a family or to add fun trendy colors to your collection.

Today’s card is a monochromatic card highlighting our Strawberry Slush 2025-2027 In Color.

This card uses two different Online Exclusives, the Year of the Flower stamp set (Online Exclusive 165367) and Painted Stripes stamp (Online Exclusive 165437).

This stamp set contains a full year of stamps with monthly flowers making it wonderful for birthday cards all year round.

The Painted Stripes stamp is a large stamp with built in shading so it’s a great stamp for backgrounds and adding a bit of interest to a project, And when you use a punch like the Modern Oval Punch ( 162234) stamping is easy. I loved punches when I first started stamping since they allowed me to get great centered images every time. Simply flip the punch over, line it up in the window, and punch!

And of course a bit of texture has been added with the Strawberry Slush 3/8″ Faux Linen Ribbon (165274) which is lovely and ties wonderfully.

Did you know that each of our In Colors have a variety of options to choose from? You can buy our assortment packs, or individual pack of card stock. Accessories come in assortment packs. Or like our ribbon individual colors making it a great way to quickly choose a color and get started crafting.

Sounds interesting? Why not check out our two In Color Families today?

Check out this soft and lovely card made using the gratitude greeting from the set.

It’s got a soft and lovely feel to it and since it is using the Soft Succulent pattern from the Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper. The paper has a delicate font in the background talking about the things in nature, fall, and harvest to continue the theme.

Monochromatic cards like this are a lot of fun and can be very creative too. I think you’ll love the soft look of layering the and the Vellum card stock has been dry embossed with the Thanks folder from the set of 2 embossing folders. Pretty Polished Pink

Today’s cards have one thing in common the In Color, Polished Pink. They are also monochromatic, which is a fun way to stamp as you can focus on the images.

So let’s start with this first card using the Color & Contour stamp Bundle (158356).

You’ll love this bundle with it’s great images and wonderful dies that are so versatile. I’m actually holding a class using this stamp set in August. You can CLICK HERE to see that class and my others for more details and to sign up.

This next card uses the In Symmetry (155140) stamp set.

And these final two cards use the Brilliant Wings Dies (155523). The dies can be teamed up with any sentiment set of your choice, like this one using Colors & Contours (154994).

And this set of dies has a detailed set like this first card in addition to a bold set that can be used independently or together to create layers of color giving you lots of options and color combinations too.

I love the fact that our In Colors have coordinating accessories like the Designer Series Paper (155641) and ribbon (155714) used for these projects. The In Color Jewels (155571) have been so popular they are currently on back order. But no worries, while you can’t order them currently they will be back soon.

Did you know if there is something that you can’t order due to backorders and want to be notified when they arrive back in stock you can contact me and I’ll be happy to let you know when they are available again.
